5 If I were Israel I'd be talking to Jordan about now for some close air support. Hey I'd even paint the Jordanian flag on the planes if that's what it takes.

6 As per FREEREPUBLIC + WANTCHINATIMES, looks like China is also planning a North-n-South pincer move agz Japan + Taiwan in case of mil conflict.
