8 The now 89 year old Brooke released this statement:

I wonder if the fossilized media bimbo would make this kind of lurid revelation about a Democrat?

Ed Brooke is one of the good guys and he was a good senator. He deserves better.

13 Did Ms. Walters actually say she was in love with the senator, Darrell? I never followed her closely, but I always had the impression she was too career-centered to have room for any one else in her life. Her daughter must have suffered from that.
