1 Reading Karl Rove's quote in this article makes me wonder what came of all his mighty acts. Seems like it was mainly death and destruction which are always accompanied by fear and hate. He certainly didn't do much to enhance our position on the global stage. The Bush administration that he helped to put in power left us with a mortgage meltdown, staggering economy, porous borders and increasing dependence on imports from China. In fact, he was so bad that the electorate turned to Baraq Obama, not that John McCain would have been any better. Rove comes off sounding like an arrogant asshole who still hasn't learned the lessons of his failures.
