5 I remember a relative who was forced by Prez. Carter, at the beginning of Carter's term, to be an acting DEA TZAR. His first day on that job took about 3 hours of security test before he could get to his desk. He had not even gotten introduced to his secretary or a notebook on his desk when the secretary walked in and said: "There are some people here you must talk to NOW!" In walked the MAFIA. He exited that job as soon as he could. DEA has been compromised at least as far back as that. Maybe even under Prez Ford.
