Whether Amazon pays taxes or not, all of those employees contribute to those points. The facilities purchase electric, water, trash. Buying lunch at the restaurant, buying gas or tickets to get to work. Or, did.

All week long I've seen, for lack of a better word, gloating, "Those bigoted paranoid reich wingers are having fever dreams!"

I'm not seeing any of that today.

15 in the time of aipropgand i would question any layoffs, esp tech related, with convenient excuses. they are going to create a huge unemployed swath, with constant programming to less intellectual endevours and they will control the narrative all the way if they can. nothing wrong with the trades, it's just the first-time historically parents won't want/expect/demand a "better" life possibility for their kids. another amercianism. UBI isin't for the current crop, its for the coming situation they are creating.
