3 As I recall, my sister-in-law took her daughter and son-in-law to Mr. Ramsey’s course because the newlyweds had got themselves in a bit of a pickle despite having two good incomes. Not because they were extravagant as such — like her mother Cassie loved a garage sale — but because they never said no to themselves.

They’ve been ship shape and Bristol fashion ever since. It was, indeed, nothing they did not know. But he reminded them of the consequences of their path.
