2 Israel election results [Live]

Israel’s Central Election Committee was tallying votes on Wednesday, the results of which are displayed above, but it will likely take until Thursday before definitive results of the election are known.

Exit polls can help give a general sense of each party’s relative strength but are not considered a reliable barometer of precise results, particularly in Israel’s fragmented political system.

With some 77.6% of votes tallied, Netanyahu’s bloc was projected to win around 44.2% of seats in the 120-seat Knesset. Eisenkot’s bloc would take some 38.3%, and unaligned parties would take 16.5%. That distribution will likely change as more votes are tallied.

Candidate lists that pass a 3.25% vote share threshold are then allocated seats in the Knesset in proportion to the number of votes they received.

3 The two Haredi parties currently are projected to win only 14 seats. They have 18 in current Knesset. Unlikely to increase that as most uncounted votes are military and hospital workers.
