4 By sheer coincidence a federal judge is about to rule on whether one of her injunctions against Trump deploying the National Guard in Portland should continue. The city can point to this blip of police activity and claim they have the ~~riots~~ peaceful protests under control. But the basic problem remains that the city and state governments choose not to comply with federal immigration law.
