2 Deborah Lipstadt was special assistant for combating antisemitism for Biden.

One of my friends told me how confident she was that Lipstadt would do well and make a difference.

In reality, Lipstadt made no difference except to be a prominent part in the Biden Administration's "National Strategy for Countering Antisemitism" in May 2023. It did produce ten of thousands of pages of 'action plans' as every Dept and Agency had to have an action plan on this. However, none of those many, many plans seemed to have any effect on all on the explosion of antisemitism that followed in the next few years.
