Wars and litigation are inefficient ways to resolve problems. They almost never end in a decisve victory. Instead, they usually end in a negotiated settlement. Both sides find a deal they could, in principle, have arrived at without all the costs that finally brought them to the negotiating table.

I see two possible outcomes:
Either the Russians continue to grind away until they reach the Dniepr
or the Euros get tired of *bleep*ing with the Rus and they cut a deal.
At the moment, the Euros/NATO still appear enthusiastic, so the first option is more likely.

One complication for EU/NATO is running out of Ukrainians. A manpower shortage will create even more selective pressure for the evolution of autonomous war machines. Eventually, we will get Screamers.
