1 ...Let ya in on a little secret: the Israelis bought the -35 on one very strict condition, and that is that they use their own software and avionics, because they don't trust anybody to not shut it off. They have the wherewithal to do their own structural spares and weapons. So in the end, the Israeli -35s are pretty much untouchable this way.
