8 Temps have to be extra low in office buildings because men wear suits with coats and ties. closing off your neck makes you even hotter. Fetterman tried to change the dress code to be more sensible and got crapped on for it.

9 Most office jobs call for business casual nowadays. In the summer both men and women who wear suits for work will wear summer-weight fabrics, and take off their jackets to work in shirtsleeves and loosened ties while at their desks. No need to chill the building as if they were still wearing winter wool and wool blends, though in Texas, where energy has been cheap, I understand they like to keep things in the mid-60s.
