1 Secret Service missed 'multiple opportunities' to prevent Trump assassination attempt: watchdog

The U.S. Secret Service "missed multiple opportunities" to prevent or disrupt the July 2024 assassination attempt on Donald Trump as he spoke to supporters during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General said in a report released Thursday.

The 64-page document detailed several lapses in security that allowed Thomas Matthew Crooks to get a line of sight of Trump as he stood on stage in Butler, Pennsylvania, during the July 13, 2024, event.

"The Secret Service’s overall lack of policy and processes coupled with limited intelligence sharing and poor collaboration and communication with protectee staff and state and local law enforcement set the conditions that led to missing opportunities to prevent and detect the attempted assassination," the report states.

Among the OIG's findings was a failure to warn Trump's protective detail that Crooks had a range finder and a long gun and had climbed onto the roof of a nearby building due to a lack of communication between the Secret Service and local law enforcement.

2 Actually, it was more like 60+ mins that the attendees, and police saw this looney tune setting up. For 60+ mins the Secret Service protection detail FAILED to notice Crook.

It was the Butler County Emergency Service Unit that initially shot at and hit Crooks's rifle, which prevented Crook from firing more shots. Crook still had about 40 more rounds he could have fired.

Only after Crook was disarmed, did the Secret Service detail fire and kill Crook.

Given the depth of Crooks (a 20 yr/old) pre-planning. Many still do not believe he did all this on his own, or w/o some behind the scene assistance.

As a result, people were seriously wounded and Corey Comperatore died shielding his wife and two daughters.

Trump Lesson Learned.
When you are a threat to a Democrat Coup, hire your own protection detail and know who guards your A$$.

I don't recall any of the mainstream media outlets reporting on Crooks' toxicology report so I just did a quick internet search. Here are some interesting results:

Most notable here is that my internet search found nothing on this subject from any of the mainsteam media outlets. One of the most disturbing aspects of this story is the utter lack of curiosity on the part of mainstream media hacks. I call them hacks because I don't consider them to be honest journalists. Instead, they all seem to be lazy, stupid and dishonest. They don't seem to know that conspiracy theories thrive when there is a lack of credible information. Either that or they think they can easily discredit the theorists.

But couple the lack of information about what might have been in Crooks' bloodstream with the seeming incompetence of the Secret Service and then the question arises, Was it really incompetence or something else?
