Pure Socialist, Democracies and Communist Governments seldom last. Such governments are usually just a stepping stone from a Wealthy Ruling class, that was using suppressive and dictatorial powers.

Over time they become heavily modified retaining parts of its original agenda and format. Adopting some characteristics of a Semi-Republic.

Republics, tend to last longer before developing its own Wealthy Ruling class, that uses suppressive dictatorial powers to maintain control and grow its family wealth.
