…who have always loathed the idea of Israel and have not been Jewish for generations. The New York Times deliberately ignored the Holocaust, despite personal correspondence with German-Jewish cousins-by-marriage reporting on conditions as they tried to escape. I’ve mentioned before that my mother’s first husband’s mother was one of the correspondents.

Their reporting about Israel has always been equally slanted against the country — the Sulzbergers have always been very clear on what they do and do not like.
