4 Cook brought down Apple from where it was after Job's death. Hopefully good news for Apple, but I feel that company is on IBM's path of relevancy.

5 rather than spend $1400 for an iPhone, I paid $300 for another Motorola 5G Android. I could lose 3 of the Androids and still be money ahead

6 It’s a matter of taste and frugality, certainly, but risk-tolerance as well: aren’t Androids more susceptible to hacking and viruses?

Not to say that iPhones can’t be, or that Apple people never peek, but that those programming for Apple are required by the company to make their work more robust against invasion — part of the reason the things cost more. (The other part being that being the It brand always comes at premium price — for some people that’s the point.)

Pardon me but I never had much respect for Apple hardware. It always looks really cute but I've seen it fail too often.

8 No real innovation since Jobs. Cook just milked a cash cow. Adding more camera lenses and colors and raising prices does not count as innovation.
