Any label using the term "liberal" should be cause for concern. I doubt much good will come from this change.

9 It was - mostly - the economy, stupid. Orbanism, has led to blatant mismanagement by his cronies, corruption, authoritarian control of the media, the justice system and just about anything else. Hungarians knew that they would only get rid of all this with a Tisza supermajority in parliament, because Orban had most of his stuff written into the constitution.

I know this first hand. Years ago we had a project in Hungary. We were lucky enough that the Hungarian government screwed it up before we had invested much money (ever changing Byzantine regulations, open corruption, incompetent managers forced upon us). We quit before it got ugly and only lost about 150,000 Euros in the process.

17 Coupla points:
(1) Magyar was part of Orban's group until about 4-5 years ago, falling out over corruption accusations.
(2) Orban has been in for 16 years. Nobody should be in for that long. Continuity is one thing, this was arteriosclorosis.
