1 Just got back 2 hours ago from a 10 day road trip from the North Coast of NSW on the M1 - the main highway around the country- Sydney, Katoomba and return. I have never seen so few semi trucks, or so few cars in general, ever. Our local town, Grafton, would have about 50% of its usual traffic, but this trip showed way less than that. Fuel is available everywhere, expensive but not unaffordable, but people aren’t driving. It’s eerie.

Speaking as your Economic Advisor, I recommend you implement wage and price controls. While these have not worked in the history of ever and are pretty much guaranteed to make things worse, you must be seen as doing something, no matter how ineffective or useless.
