2 Comparing Israel to Nazi Germany or lessening the impact of the Holocaust by comparing it to other incidents are both part of the IHRA definition of antisemmtism. Germany was within the law here.

4 Germany’s laws on the subject of Nazis long predate the IHRA definition of antisemitism, addressing concerns that go well beyond just the Jews. They don’t want their idiots to ever get the country anywhere near the point where they need to be defeated like that again.
