1 Lapid is a clown. Bennet is a great disappointment - especially every time he opens his mouth. Yair Golan should've born in USA - he'd become a prominent D politician. The pack of ex-generals are motivated by "I've been Chief of Staff - next step is PM". Thank you very much for your service - but Itzhak Rabin & Ehud Barak were more than enough.

2 The intelligence failure of Oct 7 has never been addressed to my satisfaction. Mossad is the best. So how did Hamas leap the fortified and guarded border and pull off a 9/11 style tragedy?
This isn't the Rio Grande.
The US deep state are incompetent as we've seen with their bungling but Mossad? I saw an account of how they killed all the Iranian generals and it's genius. Will post tomorrow.

3 /\ It does seem a bit incredulous that pre-staging, communications (signals), and human intelligence of an attack of that magnitude of Oct 7, to include ultralight aircraft could have gone undetected. Not to mention target location and large attendance of the music festival.

Intelligence failures do of course happen, but that is why you do not rely on 'single source' methodologies. After 9/11, perhaps our own "failures" should undergo another in-depth examination.

I'll stop short of suggesting a tactical trigger. The possibility however, should not be totally discounted.

6 Remember Yom Kippur war? They stage preparations, IDF responds. They postpone. Israel cannot call up reservists every time Gazans stir up. Therefore, deterrence should be based on retaliation - and here we have Jew hating "International Community".
