Boeing sure is having a lot of engine problems?

BTW: Air Force One is powered by 4 GE CF6-80C2B1 jet engines. The Quatar AF-1 want-a-be (N7478D) now uses 4x GEnx-2B67/P ?

3 Local Postmaster announced new 9:30 am starting time due to late unsorted, bulk mail arrival from Atlanta. Large postal employee meeting ends in an uproar, lots of very angry carriers.

Adding to the misery; US Postal - Amazon package delivery contract not going entirely as planned. Neither post office buildings or delivery vehicles set up for packages. Amazon mail-order system a huge success. Delivery, not so much.

5 Neither Boeing nor AirBus manufacture jet engines. The buyer of the airplane specifies what engines he wants (usually GE, Pratt & Whitney, or Rolls Royce) and the air craft manufacturer installs it as part of the building process.

In many cases the airline makes the choice based on commonality with their current fleet.

Engines may be bought or leased by the airline, not the manufacturer.
