10 Building an autonomous narco-sub would be a cool science fair project. Like a self-driving vehicle that swims. Except for the hull, the components like GPS, waypoint navigation, motor control, etc. are all commercial off the shelf components which makes it a system integration project. Big nerdy fun. Pass me that Kalman filter!
