8 The news article in the related links was either written by a moron or they are pushing an agenda. The rifle in the picture is clearly a bolt action rifle with a scope. I haven't followed the story closely enough to know if law enforcement specifically mentioned the weapon used.

12 ^ My google-fu is weak this morning, but I believe the phrase "gunperson in a dress" was first used by the local politically-correct cops. Canada is currently suffering an epidemic of this nonsense.

Based on personal observation, the Bee seems to have an uncanny power to predict the future, no matter how stupid it is. But in this case, Canadian law enforcement beat them to the punch.
