20 Well, it seems the US already has five military bases in Greenland:

"There are currently five United States military installations in Greenland, including Pituffik Space Base, which is the most notable and serves as the northernmost Department of Defense installation. These bases support various military operations and strategic interests in the Arctic region."

Interesing titbit, Presendent Truman in 1946 secretly offered to buy Greenland for 100 Million dollars, but Denmark refused the offer even though Denmark was just freed from German occupation by the allied forces.
