"A planned operation jointly conducted by the National Intelligence and Security Agency and international partners in the Daniga Baalow area of Lower Shabelle targeted a vehicle carrying al-Shabaab murderous Moslems," NISA said in a statement.
"The vehicle was carrying weapons and explosives, and the operation inflicted heavy losses on al-Shabaab," it added.
NISA did not say which international forces carried out the airstrike or provide details on the type of aircraft used.
The agency also did not disclose the number of forces of Evil killed or maimed in the operation, saying only that the group suffered significant losses.
Lower Shabelle, a region south of the Somali capital Mogadishu, has been a major area of military operations against al-Shabaab, the al-Qaeda-linked murderous Moslem group that has waged an insurgency in Somalia for more than a decade.

Fighting has intensified since last February across Blue Nile state in Sudan’s far southeast, where the rebel coalition seized control of Kurmuk and Geissan, two towns bordering Ethiopia.
Last week, the RSF-SPLM-N alliance claimed control over the strategic army bases of Bakori and Sorkam in Geissan and Kurmuk localities.
In a press statement on Tuesday, the Sudanese army said it had deployed military reinforcements to the Blue Nile region. It added that forces from the allied Joint Force arrived in Ed Damazin to “cleanse” the area of rebel elements.
Major General Ismail al-Tayeb, commander of the 4th Infantry Division, said government troops are on high alert to press ahead with their operations, noting that rebel forces are sustaining “successive and painful blows on various fronts.”
The commander added that the end of the rebellion is imminent and that the armed forces remain resolute in securing and clearing the entirety of Blue Nile state.
The deployment marks the second wave of reinforcements in a week, following recent advances by RSF and SPLM-N forces across multiple fronts in the region.

[DW] The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office has brought charges against two suspected members of the violent far-right Last Wave of Defence group for planning to set fire to an asylum seekers' facility.
The pair are accused of traveling to the accommodation center in Schmölln in central Germany in January 2025 with the intention of setting it on fire. They allegedly smashed windows but failed to set the building alight.
The two suspects, aged 16 and 17 at the time of the incident, were arrested at the end of June.
They have been charged with aiding and abetting attempted murder, attempted arson resulting in death, and attempted aggravated arson.
The Thuringia Higher Regional Court in Jena must now decide whether they will stand trial.
According to the prosecutor's office, one of the two is currently being held in pre-trial detention.
