Wisconsin Supreme Court Strikes Down Race-Based Scholarships As Unconstitutional
Wow. No separate but equal, I guess. What about scholarships for the indigent children of Irish firepersons?
[ZERO] The Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down a state-funded scholarship program that awarded financial aid based on the race of college students. The Democrat-controlled court followed the precedent laid out by the United States Supreme Court in finding that Gov. Tony Evers and the state were violating the Equal Protection Clause of the United States Constitution.
PRIVATE funds can discriminate on who they support. You just can't do it with public funds
Two of the most liberal justices, however, wrote a concurrence denouncing the bar on the use of race for such scholarships.

If Democrats are able to pack the Supreme Court as demanded by many party leaders, this concurrence is an example of the likely changes that a packed court will bring in reversing anti-discrimination and other rulings.

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty represented the taxpayers in this successful challenge of the Wisconsin Minority Undergraduate Retention Grant Program.

That program administered taxpayer-funded grants of up to $2,500 per academic year to eligible students of Black American, American Indian, Hispanic, or certain Southeast Asian backgrounds.

This privilege racial class BS needs to stop.

It is time to expect ALL US Citizens to put in a realistic effort to achieve the things they want, just like the majority of the other USA Citizens do everyday.

Seriously, we are 55+ years, and 3+ generations since nationwide enforced equality came into affect. There is no longer a realistic excuse for racial privilege. Just look at at the employment numbers in the DOD, Federal, State, Metro positions and commercial sectors.

Time to Earn It!

Instead of demanding, or being granted special endowments.

The Sun experienced its strongest solar flare in recent weeks
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
[Regnum] A solar flare of magnitude M2.6 occurred overnight, the strongest in the past 2.5 weeks. This was reported on June 21 by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to scientists, the flare was recorded at 5:46 AM Moscow time. Immediately before it, two more strong flares occurred, classified as M1.0 and M1.3.

On June 3, an M9.3-class solar flare occurred, the strongest in 1.5 months. The Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IKI RAS) clarified that the flare occurred almost exactly at the center of the Sun, where plasma clouds ejected from the epicenter had nowhere else to go but toward planet Earth. On June 5, the plasma clouds from the solar flares reached Earth. They triggered a moderate-intensity magnetic storm that lasted until June 6.

At the end of April, a solar flare of magnitude X2.5 occurred. It was the most powerful in two and a half months. However, the event was neutral for Earth, as the center of the explosion was significantly shifted toward the edge of the Sun, causing the plasma to move sideways.

Trump Slashes South Africa HIV Funding Over Afrikaner Dispute
[Red State] South Africa spent more than a year betting that President Donald Trump was bluffing.

He wasn't.

The Trump administration is moving to phase out South Africa's remaining HIV/AIDS funding through the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, better known as PEPFAR, after months of warnings over race-based policies, land expropriation, and the treatment of white Afrikaners.

South Africa has long been one of PEPFAR's largest beneficiaries and has roughly 7.8 million people living with HIV, the highest number in the world.

Trump laid the groundwork last year, signing an executive order accusing South Africa of discriminating against Afrikaners and directing agencies to halt aid where legally possible.

According to a Daily Caller exclusive, U.S. officials wanted stronger condemnation of race-based incitement, including the "Kill the Boer" chant; prevention of land expropriation without fair compensation; designation of rural crime as a priority; more law-enforcement resources in high-crime farming areas; alternatives to race-based economic mandates affecting American companies; and no interference with the administration's Afrikaner refugee program.

South Africa failed to meet those demands.

Half the internet goes down as Cloudflare blames major outage on 'fiber cut' in North America
[DM] Issues began at 8.35am ET on Monday, affecting a range of services including X, Zoom, Google and Microsoft.

At that time, the company announced it was investigating increased error rates and latency in multiple services.

Cloudflare acknowledged the disruption, describing it as an internal service degradation that may intermittently impact some services, and confirmed that a fix was underway.

The company said it is investigating a fiber cut in Eastern North America, suggesting the widespread outage may have been triggered by damage to a major internet cable rather than a cyberattack.

'Customers connecting through North America or accessing services in Europe may see increased latencies and timeouts as Cloudflare engineers look to mitigate,' Cloudflare added.

Cloudflare runs a huge network of servers spread across more than 330 cities in over 120 countries.

So much for internet architecture. By design you are suppose to have multiple cable connections in the network, so if one node goes down the data is rerouted.

American youth radicalized online, busted in suspected terror plots after hating country on social media
[FOX] Experts say like-minded extremists feed off one another in social media spaces until someone decides to act

Federal authorities say a foiled plot targeting a planned UFC event at the White House is the latest case to raise concerns about the role the internet can play in radicalizing people and connecting would-be attackers.

According to court documents, the men accused in the UFC plot allegedly communicated through encrypted messaging platforms and discussed plans involving drones, firearms and attacks on government officials.
Here, we do it in plain text!
Rather than involving a single suspect acting alone, authorities allege the case involved multiple individuals who connected online and shared extremist beliefs. Investigators have increasingly warned that digital communities can help spread radical ideologies and, in some cases, encourage real-world violence.

From alleged ISIS supporters to anti-government extremists, authorities have repeatedly linked high-profile terror and violent crime investigations to online networks where radical beliefs can spread rapidly.

Largest ever cocaine bust [$816M] in Australia after police raid underground bunker
[BBC] Australian police have seized 2.7 tonnes of cocaine - the country's largest ever such bust - from an underground bunker system in western Sydney.
Moslem colonist ethnic gangs, particularly the longer-established Lebanese, have been very active in smuggling drugs into Australia. Not a hint if that’s the case here, but something to look for, especially given Hezbollah entwinement with the narco gangs involved in cocaine throughout Latin America.
The drugs, with an estimated street value of A$816m (£433m, €500m), were found on Friday in compartments concealed beneath false floors in three shipping containers at a property in Londonderry.

Two men aged 21 and 25, who allegedly attempted to flee from police, were arrested at the scene and charged with possessing a commercial quantity of an unlawfully imported border-controlled drug.

Police say the cocaine was smuggled into Australia via the small town of Midge Point in North Queensland on the orders of an organised crime group.

The two men, who were remanded in custody after appearing in court on Saturday, face life in prison if convicted.

Police said the raid on the Londonderry property was part of "Operation Minjiang" which was launched in May after 40kg of cocaine was found floating in the water off a boat ramp at Midge Point.

Another six people in Queensland and New South Wales were arrested and charged as part of investigations sparked by the find, police said last week.

An alleged "mother vessel" suspected of being part of the smuggling operation has also been detained in Solomon Islands.

Despite its remoteness, Australia is a lucrative market for the drugs trade, with cocaine typically fetching around A$300 per gram, according to an illegal drugs monitoring system run by the University of New South Wales.

Australians and New Zealanders also have the highest cocaine use rates in the world, according to last year's UN World Drug Report.

Australian Federal Police Commander Stephen Jay said the alleged plot showed "how highly organised and determined these criminal networks are, and the extreme lengths they are willing to go to in pursuit of profit.

"Investigations into the origin of the drugs remain ongoing, and we will work with our international and domestic law enforcement partners to identify the criminal syndicates and anyone else involved in facilitating this alleged attempted drug import."

GM replaces more than 1,000 workers with 50 robots at flagship Detroit plant: ‘We're disgusted'
[FoxNews] General Motors has gutted its electric-vehicle ambitions and killed more than 1,000 jobs at its flagship Detroit assembly plant — replacing those workers with 50 robots and sparking outrage from labor unions.

The replacement “collaborative robots,” or “cobots,” have been installed on the assembly line at GM’s Factory Zero plant in Michigan amid a sharply reduced demand for its EV models and the ensuing push to cut costs, reports said.

The machines are now working alongside the remaining humans there who attach the body panels to vehicles as they move down the track, according to AutoBlog.

#7  Seeing as how the Big Three are now health care providers that make cars on the side, the writing may finally be on the wall. There is no task that a human can do on an auto assembly line that a machine cannot do better or ultimately cheaper.

I have no doubt the UAW will try and fight a last stand, but realistically the smartest thing they can do is try and manage the human phaseout.

Government Corruption
The Anthony Fauci, COVID-19 origins cover-up runs ‘deep' into our intelligence community
This is his Hell. I’m ok with that.
[NYP] On her final day as director of national intelligence Friday, Tulsi Gabbard released damning declassified evidence accusing Dr. Anthony Fauci of causing the COVID-19 pandemic, engaging in a cover-up about the virus origins in China and lying to Congress about it.

Perhaps most disturbingly, he was assisted by the US intelligence community.

"It’s time you know the truth," said Gabbard when she released "never-before-seen communications and documents exposing how Dr. Fauci provided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus’ lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024 . . . The tactics used to hide the truth are straight from the deep state playbook."

Right on cue, two days after the bombshell release, on Sunday, The Washington Post ran a 9,000-word hit piece accusing Gabbard of taking instructions from a Hindu "cult leader" described in the headline as her "guru."

It was a gratuitous exercise in guilt-by-association masquerading as an investigation, another tactic straight from the deep state playbook.
