Democrats are putting forth a new ballot initiative to repeal the “Top 2” candidate rule that takes the 2 leading candidates, because the 2 leading candidates are Republicans

The man behind this is Steve Maviglio, he's the former communications director for Governor Gray Davis
He's not some random nobody. Steve Maviglio a longtime Democratic insider, he’s a top Democrat operative
He filed paperwork with the state to change the rules of the game now that Democrats are losing
Keep in mind, this “Top 2” system is the same system that locked out Republicans for 15 years
But now that it’s going to lock Democrats out they’re turning to their rigged elections to maintain power and change the rules

Interesting that they would put forward a ballot initiative that would impact a concurrent election. It’s like an athlete starting a 5K and discovering that it has been changed to a 10k half way through.

Trump was quick to draw a connection between Cassidy and Massie. In a Truth Social post early Sunday morning, Trump said Massie "is an even bigger insult to our Nation than" Cassidy and reiterated support for Massie's primary challenger, Ed Gallrein.

Cassidy would say that Trump is being petty. Very few of the voters agree with him. In a jungle primary his few votes likely came from Dems that considered him an ally.

[Fox Baltimore via AOSHQ] In a commencement speech at Valley Forge Military Academy on May 9, Gov. Wes Moore told graduates the academy had taught them "something that I wish more people in this society understood — that we will not lie, cheat, nor steal, nor tolerate those that do."
For two decades, Moore’s own accounts of his Army service and Afghanistan deployment have tested whether he lives by that standard.
In an April 2014 interview with the USO’s magazine"On Patrol," Moore was asked about his duties in Afghanistan. "I was an infantry officer, military police officer and then became special ops when I joined the 82nd Airborne Division," Moore said.
Based on Army records, his answer was not true.
Those records show Moore was not an infantry officer, was not qualified in any special operations field and did not deploy to Afghanistan to perform either role.

Moore has made other resume enhancements.
Claimed Masters Degree at Oxford but his thesis does not seem to exist.
Also claimed to have been inducted into the Maryland Sports Hall of Fame but no such institution exists.
Notwithstanding this, he has governed closer to the middle than people feared. Given that the Dems have huge majorities in both houses of the legislature, things could have been worse.
