[FoxNews] A judiciary hearing in the House of Representatives grew tense on Tuesday when Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, pressed an American University scholar in graphic detail on which abortion procedure she would list as her favorite.
"What’s your favorite type of abortion?" Gill asked Jessica Waters, a senior scholar at the American University School of Public Affairs.
Waters, whose research focuses on "reproductive rights law," "abortion regulation" and "state control of reproductive decision-making," refused to answer.
"I’m an advocate for patients having access to the full realm of reproductive healthcare," Waters said.
With the revelation that Planned Parenthood – though ineligible – received about $90 million in taxpayer funding via COVID loans under the Biden Administration, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America urged Congress to keep tax dollars from funding abortion.
President of SBA Pro-Life America Marjorie Dannenfelser told The Center Square that “Congress must act before July 4 to keep Big Abortion defunded through reconciliation, or else last year’s victory in the Working Families Tax Cuts will expire and abortion businesses will be fully funded to the tune of more than half a billion dollars again.”

Immigrants detained in New York, Vermont, and Connecticut must be given bond hearings [and likely release] unless they have a criminal record or are subject to some other ground of mandatory detention. This creates a circuit split, so the Supreme Court will likely hear the case next term.
The decision was made by three judges in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, which oversees cases in Vermont, Connecticut, and New York.
The result is that illegals arrested in New York know they can usually ask for a bond hearing to be quickly released back onto the streets. This legal power gives them the ability to keep working — or to commit crimes — while they stretch out their deportation cases for many years.
[FoxNews] Arizona is now one of seven states that have rebuffed the Trump administration's attempts to conduct voter record investigations. The data sought by the administration would include dates of birth, addresses, driver’s license numbers and partial Social Security numbers.
Those states include Rhode Island, California, Massachusetts, Michigan and Oregon.
Meanwhile, at least 13 states have either complied or promised to comply with the Trump administration's requests. These states include Alaska, Arkansas, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wyoming.
Earlier this month, the NCSBE submitted over 7.3 million voter records to the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database as part of an initiative to strengthen the accuracy and integrity of the state's voter registration list. The NCSBE clarified that the identification of deceased individuals on the state's voter rolls does not necessarily indicate illegal votes were cast.

It seems like there is a larger issue here than voter privacy. That issue is whether the election is legitimate; whether the election is honest and not stolen. You can't have an honest election if the election is not open to scrutiny.
[FOX] Federal prosecutors confirmed that a grand jury has issued an arrest warrant for former FBI Director James Comey following his latest indictment, though officials emphasized the Justice Department itself does not directly issue such warrants.
When asked about the development, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche clarified that the warrant was returned alongside the indictment by a grand jury, not unilaterally sought by prosecutors.
"So the Department of Justice does not issue arrest warrants. Grand juries do," Blanche said, adding that "the grand jury returned an indictment and arrest warrant."
Blanche declined to detail whether prosecutors specifically requested the warrant.
"I don’t think that it’s public or clear what the department requested," he told reporters, reiterating that the grand jury ultimately issued it.
He said the case is expected to proceed through the normal legal process, including coordination with Comey’s legal team and a future arraignment before a judge or magistrate. The process is the punishment

I don't know much about Posobiec but I'd be willing to sacrifice him just to see Comey in a federal lockup. The rhetoric has gotten far too inflammatory and it's no surprise that acts of violence have followed. Examples must be made.
For that matter, I'd like to see Schumer indicted for some of his remarks about the intel having six ways to Sunday or SCOTUS releasing the whirlwind and paying the price. Not cool, Chuck. Not cool at all.

Had to ask my American daughter about "86" and she said it means "throw something or someone out". Just because there might be some slang use doesn't mean you can't construe it to mean what you want it to mean.
Otherwise you could also prosecute someone for saying "we need to get rid of the President". If a mafia boss tells his underlings "to get rid of traitor Rico", that will certainly mean something less innocent.
Context matters. In dubio pro 1-A. I think a judge will throw this out before it gets to a jury. And you should hope that he/she does.

Deliberately misleading use of slang for in-group signalling, European Conservative. The formal definition is more benign, the intended meaning understood within the in-group — with a great deal of snickering at how cleverly they're fooling the normies — is deliberately edgy and nasty.
Remember back when the Left was going on about tea-bagging during the TEA Party period? Trailing daughter #1 insisted to me that TEA partiers were all deliberately celebrating a homosexual act, because she’d read that in Reddit chats. I picked up 'Juice' after seeing a pic of some bearded dude wearing man-jammies at a protest holding a sign that read "Death to Juice". I still find that hilarious. And worthy of mockery.
The Comey thing seems like pretty weak sauce. Makes me wonder how the prosecutor got a grand jury to go along. Is there possibly more to the story?
