The Sudanese Armed Forces have regained control of Al-Takma and reopened the road to Dilling.
Meanwhile, the Rapid Support Forces launched a counterattack targeting the SAF’s 54th Brigade in the Dilling area of South Kordofan.
The pro-SAF force, known as “Misk Al-Khitam,” entered Al-Takma as part of operations inside the city of Dilling after breaking the siege for the second time and securing the Al-Takma area east of the city.
The Rapid Support Forces had taken control of the area in early March. With this move, the route is now passable from Al-Rahad through Kartala and Habila all the way to Dilling.

The 47-year-old denies all wrongdoing, and has previously said the allegations against him – which have not yet been assessed at a criminal standard – were “egregious” and “spiteful.”
The civil trial was the first time in history any court has examined allegations of war crimes by Australian forces.
It will be alleged in court Roberts-Smith intentionally caused the death of a person and aided, abetted, counselled or procured another person to intentionally cause the death of a person on or about April 12, 2009 at Kakarak, Afghanistan.
Other charges will also be made before the court.
AFP notes should Roberts-Smith be found guilty, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
He received the Victoria Cross – his country’s highest honor for military service – for “most conspicuous gallantry in action of great peril” while serving in Afghanistan in 2010, as Breitbart News reported.
Roberts-Smith was engaged in a helicopter assault to capture a senior Taliban commander when his unit came under heavy fire from entrenched enemy forces.
By all accounts, he stormed the enemy position without any regard for his personal safety, took control of an enemy machine-gun position, and then kept going, allowing his unit to drive Taliban forces out of the area.
Roberts-Smith was also awarded a Medal for Gallantry for his actions as a scout and sniper while under heavy fire from a much larger enemy force in 2006.

[NY Post] At least one terrorist was killed and two others seriously injured in a 10-minute gun battle with cops outside the Israeli consulate in Istanbul on Tuesday, authorities said.
The terrifying ordeal erupted near a permanent security checkpoint just outside the building that houses the consulate in the Turkish capital, according to authorities and witnesses.
Footage showed one of the attackers — wearing a dark top and backpack — firing shots from an automatic rifle and a handgun as he moved among white police and security buses.
The three suspects had links to an organization that “exploits religion,” Turkey’s Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci said, confirming they were “terrorists.”
The attackers had traveled from the city of Izmit, 60 miles east of Istanbul, in a rented car, he said.
Two of them were brothers and one had a criminal record related to drugs.
Authorities haven’t released the name of the organization but the Islamic State group has carried out deadly attacks in Turkey in the past.

A Jerusalem man is set to be charged with security offenses after police arrested him on suspicion of intelligence gathering for an Iranian agent, law enforcement announced Monday.
Police detained the 21-year-old on March 26, reportedly months after he carried out the alleged offenses. The State Attorney’s Office submitted a prosecutor’s declaration against him Monday morning, meaning an indictment will be filed in the coming days.
The suspect allegedly gathered intelligence for over two months in 2025, traveling to different locations throughout the country. He bought filming equipment for this purpose, police said in a statement.
According to i24 News, the suspect carried out these tasks during Israel’s 12-day war with Iran in June. He allegedly focused on crowded areas, including parks, and traveled from place to place in a car despite lacking a valid driver’s license.
The young man was also enlisted to take photos of the route to Ra’anana, near the residence of former prime minister Naftali Bennett, the outlet reported.

The IDF on Monday acknowledged that it had mistakenly killed Moawad, saying it had intended to assassinate a Hezbollah operative.
It said the strike apparently failed to kill the Hezbollah target, and it "regrets the harm" to the uninvolved civilians.
Some residents and local officials in predominantly Christian areas have expressed concern that displaced communities are harboring terror operatives that could be targeted by Israel, with local authorities vetting those seeking rented accommodation.
But residents said no displaced people were living in the targeted apartment or surrounding buildings in Ain Saadeh.
According to residents, Israel issued no evacuation warning in the lead-up to the strike.

He said Iran did not take him seriously before, leading him to order the demolition of a major bridge near Tehran last week within minutes of talks falling apart.
"Do I want to destroy their infrastructure? No. It would take them 100 years to rebuild," he said.
"If we left today, it would take them 20 years to rebuild their country... and the only way they’re going to be able to rebuild their country is to utilize the genius of the United States of America," he claimed.
At an earlier White House Easter egg roll event, Trump was asked if his plans to blow up civilian bridges and power plants in Iran would constitute war crimes, and said they would not "because they [Iran] killed 45,000 people in the last month."
The comments appeared to refer to Iran’s gunning down of thousands of protesters earlier this year amid a large-scale rebellion against the theocratic regime.
"You know what’s a war crime? Allowing a sick country with demented leadership to have a nuclear weapon," Trump added.
At the later presser, a news hound again pressed the president on his threat to bomb Iranian civilian infrastructure, to which the president responded by insisting that the Iranian people would be okay with such strikes.
"They would be willing to suffer that in order to have freedom," he said, adding that Iranians are urging the US to "please keep bombing."
Asked what his reaction would be if Iranians were to return to the streets, Trump acknowledged that doing so could well be a death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... , saying: "They should do it. But the consequences are great. They were told, ’If you protest, you will be shot immediately.'"
He said earlier that Iranians live in a "violent mostly peaceful, horrible world," where "if you protest, you get shot."
Iran’s army responded defiantly to Trump Monday night, saying the US president’s "arrogant rhetoric" on the war was not hindering the country’s soldiers.
"The rude, arrogant rhetoric and baseless threats of the delusional US president... have no effect on the continuation of the offensive and crushing operations of the warriors of Islam against the American and Zionist enemies," said a front man for the army’s Khatam al-Anbiya central command cited by state media.
Iran’s deputy sports minister, Alireza Rahimi, called on artists and athletes to form human chains at power plants across the country on Tuesday.
"We will stand hand in hand to say: Attacking public infrastructure is a war crime," Rahimi said on X.
REOPENING HORMUZ A ’VERY BIG PRIORITY’
Asked whether he would accept Iran charging toll in the Strait of Hormuz after Tehran reopens the channel, Trump suggested the US could be the one charging such tolls.
"Why shouldn’t we? We’re the winner. We won. They are militarily defeated," he said.
He later appeared to back off the idea.
"We have to have a deal that’s acceptable to me, and part of the deal is going to be that we want free traffic of oil and everything else," he said, adding that reopening the Strait of Hormuz is a "very big priority," and that it does not take much for Iran to be able to obstruct traffic in the channel.
After the US and Israel attacked on February 28, Iran effectively closed Hormuz, a conduit for about a fifth of the world’s oil and natural gas supply. The waterway’s stranglehold on the global economy has proved a powerful bargaining chip, and Tehran is reluctant to relinquish it too easily.
In the past, Trump has indicated that the reopening of the strait is not a necessity for US interests and that other countries can go in "and just take" the oil.
Asked to explain his seemingly contradictory messaging from the past several days in which he has both said the war is coming to an end and has threatened to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, Trump said it "depends" on what Iran does.
He again recalled his Tuesday night ultimatum for Iran to accept a deal to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz — a deadline that he has already pushed off twice.
"They asked for an extension of seven days. I said, ’Give them 10 days,'" Trump said. He would go on to push it off by an additional 24 hours on Sunday.
"I thought it was inappropriate [to attack] the day after Easter. I want to be a nice person. They have until tomorrow. Now we’ll see what happens," Trump asserted.
"They’re negotiating, we think in good faith," Trump said of Iran.
"We’re getting the help of some incredible countries that want this to be ended, because it affects them also," he said.
At the earlier Easter event, Trump said that he would like to "take" Iran’s oil but will refrain from doing so because the American public wants the war to end quickly.
"We are obliterating [Iran]... and they just don’t want... to cry ’uncle,'" Trump said. "But they will [cry ’uncle’]. And if they don’t, they’ll have no bridges, they’ll have no power plants, they’ll have no anything."
"Unfortunately, the American people would like to see us come home. If it were up to me, I’d take the oil, keep the oil, and make plenty of money," Trump said.
IRANIAN TRUCE PROPOSAL ’SIGNIFICANT’ BUT INSUFFICIENT
At the Easter event, Trump also confirmed having received a proposal from Iran for a ceasefire, calling it "significant," while clarifying that it doesn’t go far enough.
The Pak-brokered framework for ending the war proposed an immediate ceasefire, followed by talks on a broader peace settlement to be concluded within 15 to 20 days, a source aware of the proposals said.
"They’ve made a proposal... It’s not good enough, but it’s a very significant step," Trump said.
Iran has been "negotiating in good faith," he added, claiming that its new leaders are "not as radicalized" and that the war could "end very quickly."
Trump has recently tried to make the argument that killing a series of leaders within the Islamic Theocratic Republic had achieved the goal of "regime change" in Iran, even though Tehran’s regime remains intact.
"Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. They are lunatics, and you can’t put nuclear weapons in the hands of a lunatic," he said of Iran’s leaders, whom moments prior he had characterized as "much more reasonable."
He also went on to claim that Israel would have been "wiped off the face of the earth" had he not pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal in 2015, and said the current war was "about one thing: Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon."
"I told this to Bibi Netanyahu yesterday," he said at the White House, using the Israeli premier’s nickname.
Trump also repeated his oft-stated bewilderment with the majority of US Jews who vote for Democratic politicians.
"How Israel can vote for a Democrat — if you’re Jewish in New York City or any place else in this country, how you can vote for a Democrat is unbelievable because [former US president Barack Obama That’s just how white folks will do you.... ] chose Iran," Trump said, appearing to conflate American Jews with Israel.
HUNDREDS OF SOLDIERS TOOK PART IN RESCUE MISSION
Regarding the decision to launch an operation to rescue two American airmen whose plane was shot down in Iran over the weekend, Trump revealed that some of his military advisers had not been supportive of the idea, due to the risk it would pose to those taking part.
"Not everybody was on board," Trump said. "There [were] military people — very professional — [who] preferred not doing it."
He clarified that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Caine were not among those skeptics.
"Somebody said, ’This was the only time it’s ever been done,'" Trump claimed. "Look at some of the helicopters, how they got hit."
He then asked Caine how many soldiers took part in the rescue, but the Joint Chiefs chairman responded: "I’d love to keep that a secret."
"I’ll keep it a secret, but it was hundreds," Trump said.
"I was told that this is a very dangerous mission. They didn’t say it’s a foolish mission," he clarified.
Hegseth, who has faced scrutiny for outspokenly blending his evangelical religious faith with military operations, also spoke at the presser, describing the rescue in explicitly Christian terms, comparing it to the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The rescue mission came amid rising concern about the nearly six-week-long war’s effect on the global economy, including a sharp rise in fuel prices. The conflict has also hit Trump’s approval ratings and intensified anxiety among Republicans about November’s midterm elections.

In game theory, this is called a threat. To work, threats must be both credible and unpleasant.
Even if nuclear power plants aren't hit directly, leaving the country without electricity (for a long time) would mean nuclear plants could no longer be cooled and would blow up.
Blowing up a nuke plant would certainly kill it, but you can get a mission kill with a whole lot less mess and effort by simply disconnecting it from the power grid.
Also, it is possible to shut down a nuclear reactor either slowly or in emergency scram mode using the same mechanism that allows control of the reaction rate. Over here, nuke plants have diesel-powered emergency backup generators. Without fuel, these will not run forever, but they do give you time for a controlled shutdown.

Yeah, it would be a big mess. Quite inconvenient. And that is the other side of a credible threat: it has to be both unpleasant for the threatened *and* something you would not normally do as a matter of course. There has to be a cost to you to make it believable. As satisfying as it might be to bomb the mullahs back to the Stone Age, it would take a lot of ordinance and we would lose a bunch of people. Best avoided if possible.
Remember this is a negotiation over whether Iran will have nuclear weapons. The position of the United States is no way in hell will that happen. That is the goal.

^ That's very interesting, tw. I could only offer a few anecdotes. In a galaxy far far away I was working with a Japanese company that had loaned a good bit of money to American company. After a while the American company filed a Chapter 11, which in context meant that the Japanese company would recover pennies on the dollar. The Japanese were genuinely shocked that their American counterpart would not repay the loan, no matter how many times I explained that this was a day ending in a Y in America. I think they expected the American CEO to commit seppuku.

There is always a high cost for those who choose principle over going along to get along. One chooses principle for the betterment of society, not for personal gain or convenience, accepting that the process will be a part of the punishment because the price in soul stuff is too high if one doesn’t.
The people who sheltered my mother and grandparents from the Nazis risked not only their own freedom but the very lives of all associated with them, and they did so for total strangers. When I asked one of them in 2010 why she had done it, she looked at me in total incomprehension. “How could I not?” was her only answer.

Amazing security breach for a civilian involved in Iran to leave her passport so the Iranians can find it.
This passport was found at site of 2x C130 and 3x helicopter incident, not F15 crash site. Moran Sagron is a mechanical engineer that specializes in nuclear technologies, she is not a pilot.

There was another ID for “Major Amanda Ryder” allegedly found at the site. It’s odd that there would be two females on an insertion of this type, that the team wouldn’t have gone in sterile and that the id’s would have been left behind. If it’s an outright lie it’s an unusual choice and if the ids were actually left behind that’s even odder

🚨 BREAKING: IDF Strikes Tehran Airports, Dozens Of Iranian Aircraft Destroyed
The IDF reports overnight airstrikes on three Tehran-area airports, targeting Iranian Air Force and IRGC aviation assets. Israeli fighter jets struck planes, helicopters, and military infrastructure at Mehrabad Airport and two smaller airstrips, inflicting a significant blow to Iran’s aerial capabilities.

The Israeli Air Force launched a wave of attacks on Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... overnight Sunday and on Monday, killing two senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officers in Tehran, hitting the country’s largest petrochemical plant and blowing up several airports used by the IRGC as fighting continued despite efforts to reach a ceasefire.
A first strike killed Majid Khademi, who served as head of the Intelligence Protection Organization of the IRGC and the Intelligence Organization of the IRGC. He entered the role several months ago, following the killing of his predecessor, Mohammad Kazemi, by Israel during the June 2025 war.
A separate strike in Tehran killed another top IRGC official, Yazdan Mir, known by his alias Sardar Bagher (sometimes spelled Asghar Bakri), who headed the IRGC Quds Force’s clandestine Unit 840.
The Israel Defense Forces said Khademi was "one of the IRGC’s most senior commanders and had accumulated extensive military and security experience over many years."
"In his role, he was responsible for gathering intelligence and helping formulate a comprehensive situational assessment for the regime’s big shotship" during the war, the military said.
Khademi also "worked to advance terror activities against the State of Israel and against Jewish targets worldwide. He also took part in attempts to target American individuals and was responsible for monitoring Iranian civilians as part of the regime’s suppression of internal protests," the IDF added.
On Bagheri, the IDF said he held several senior roles in the Quds Force over the years, "within which he advanced numerous efforts to target Israeli and American targets around the world."
Unit 840 has been implicated in kidnappings and liquidations of figures outside of Iran, including Israelis.
The military said Bagheri "coordinated and promoted terror activities against the State of Israel, including operations carried out within the territory of the State of Israel, Syria, and Leb ...The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... Unit 840, under Bagheri’s leadership, had also "advanced operations aimed at harming IDF troops operating in the buffer zone in Syria, using Syrian operatives who had previously served in Assad’s army," the army said.
In addition, the military said Bagheri was involved in smuggling weapons from Iran into Israel and the West Bank.
Defense Minister Israel Katz, who said he was updated on the strike during an assessment with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, declared, "Iran’s leaders live with a sense of persecution. We will continue to hunt them down one by one."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lauded the military for Khademi’s liquidation in a Hebrew-language post on X. He also hailed the liquidation of Bagheri, calling him "responsible for attacks against Jews and Israelis around the world."
"Whoever acts to murder our citizens, whoever directs terrorism against Israel, whoever builds the Iranian axis of evil — their blood is on their own head. We are acting with power and determination; we will reach anyone who seeks to harm us," the premier warned.
"We will continue with full force, on all fronts, until the threat is removed and all the objectives of the war are achieved."
ISRAEL STRIKES SOUTH PARS PETROCHEMICAL PLANT IN IRAN
The Israeli Air Force also struck Iran’s South Pars petrochemical plant at Asaluyeh.
Katz said in a statement that the IDF "has just powerfully struck the largest petrochemical facility in Iran, located in Asaluyeh, a central target responsible for about 50 percent of the country’s petrochemical production, following last week’s strike on the second main facility."
He said that the two facilities, "which together are responsible for about 85% of Iran’s petrochemical exports, have been taken out of use and are not functioning."
"This is a severe economic blow amounting to tens of billions of dollars to the Iranian regime," he said.
Katz said that the petrochemical industry is a "central engine in financing the activities" of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iran’s military build-up.
He added that the IDF has been instructed to "continue striking with full force the national infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime."
"The Iranian terror regime will discover that continued aggression against Israel and the cowardly and criminal firing at Israeli civilians will lead to a deepening of the economic and strategic damage it pays and to the collapse of its capabilities," Katz said.
Hours later, a second petrochemical facility in Iran was hit by Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s, Iranian media reported.
"A few minutes ago, the Marvdasht Petrochemical Complex was targeted by an American-Zionist enemy attack," the Fars news agency reported, adding that a fire that sparked at the complex was brought under control, and no casualties were caused.
Israel did not immediately comment on the report.
IAF BOMBS AIRPORTS, SAYS THEY WERE USED BY QUDS FORCE
The Israeli Air Force also bombed airports in Tehran overnight, saying they were being used by the Quds Force, the IRGC’s extraterritorial arm.
The strikes came as Iran continued to launch ballistic missile attacks at Israel, some of which have proven deadly in recent days.
Israel’s military said it struck three airports in the Tehran area, hitting runways and control towers, along with a Quds Force factory that manufactured drones.
Iranian media also reported that an airstrike on a residential building in a city southwest of Iran’s capital had killed at least 13 people. The semiofficial Fars news agency and Nour News reported the strike near Eslamshar. It wasn’t immediately clear why the building was struck.
Separately, gas outages hit parts of Tehran after a strike on a university, according to Iran’s state broadcaster, but were soon restored, according to Iranian state television ... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?The strike, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, hit a gas pressure reduction station and metering facilities at Sharif University of Technology, causing a leak. "The attack did not result in a fire, and in less than half an hour, the gas leak was completely fixed," state broadcaster IRIB said.
It wasn’t immediately clear what had been targeted on the grounds of the university, which is empty of students amid the war. However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... multiple countries over the years have sanctioned the university for its work with the military, particularly on Iran’s ballistic missile program, a main target of the US-Israeli campaign.
The attack also hit the university’s data center, which houses an artificial intelligence facility, according to the Fars news agency.
Iranian media carried footage showing extensive damage at the site, with twisted metal, debris and damaged structures across the area.
AMERICAN FORCES IN KUWAIT TARGETED WITH DRONES Meanwhile,

Iran targeted US forces located on Kuwait’s Bubiyan Island, the spokesperson of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said in a video statement shared by state media.
Ebrahim Zolfaqari said Iran targeted satellite equipment and munitions on the island with drones, adding that US forces had relocated there from Arifjan camp after that base was repeatedly struck by Iran.
Bubiyan Island is the largest of Kuwait’s coastal island chain, located in the northwest of the Gulf.
Six people were maimed from debris falling in a residential area in northern Kuwait after an Iranian attack, Kuwait’s health ministry said earlier.
The United Arab Emirates said overnight that its air defenses were responding to a missile and drone attack.
A drone attack damaged a telecommunications building in the UAE’s Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, the state-run WAM news agency reported. The attack targeted a building of the state-funded du telecom company. No one was injured, WAM reported, quoting officials in Fujairah.
In the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi, authorities said a Ghanaian man suffered wounds from shrapnel after the interception of an Iranian missile over the city’s Musaffah neighborhood. That’s near Al Dhafra Air Base, which hosts US forces and has been repeatedly targeted by Iran in the war.
An interesting tidbit: a pair of unverified rumors that lean into today's news. The first — and quite persistent — is that Quds Force chief Esmail Qaani is an Israeli asset. Quds Force specializes in unconventional warfare, international terrorism, and military intelligence. Qaani became head following President Donald Trump's assassination of former chief Qasem Soleimani in 2020.
The second rumor is that Khademi was heading up an internal investigation of Qaani before getting blown up. If there's any substance to these rumors, you can imagine the chaos right now inside Quds and the IRGC as a whole.
But again, these are merely rumors.
Not a rumor is OSINTechnical's report on Monday that another recent strike also killed Yazdan Mir, "leader of the Quds Force's Unit 840, a covert operational group responsible for conducting clandestine activities outside of Iran."
Tehran played the ballistic missile/drone-strike card early in the war — and as everyone assumed they would — but to rapidly diminishing returns. The regime's next card, perhaps its last card, would be launching waves of terrorist strikes in the U.S., Israel, and elsewhere. Those could be anything from suicide bombers to gunmen shooting up malls, to repeats of the Oct. 7, 2023, terror invasion of Israel.
It's the card many of us have dreaded from the start.
While I wouldn't relax just yet, Mir's death may hinder Tehran's ability to trigger sleeper cells in foreign countries, particularly if the IRGC has genuine doubts about Qaani's reliability. Killing Khademi sends another signal to the people of Iran that we're serious about eliminating Tehran's tools of oppression.
