[Breitbart] The FBI has quietly carried out a three‑month offensive against the Latin Kings, arresting 50 gang members and seizing cash, drugs, and assets in a coordinated takedown across 13 field offices. Officials say the operation marks another major strike against violent gangs after a record year of MS‑13 and Tren de Aragua dismantlements.
FBI Director Kash Patel announced on Friday the takedown of approximately 50 members of the violent Latin Kings drug trafficking gang. The three-month Operation Broken Crown led to the seizure of $200,000 in assets and approximately ten kilos of drugs, the director said in a post on social media.
During a Fox News interview, Patel said the FBI operation involved more than a dozen field offices around the country and included many cooperating federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. “Under President Trump’s and Attorney General Bondi’s leadership, this FBI is dismantling violent gang networks in America at a record clip — breaking their operations and saving lives in the process,” the director told Fox News Digital.
Patel reported that during President Donald Trump’s first year of his second term, the FBI increased the takedown of MS-13 and Tren de Aragua gang members by 210 percent. He said the new operation focused on the Latin Kings gang. The focus followed the threat by Latin Kings street gang members against a law enforcement officer in October, Patel added.
The FBI also arrested another gang member in the District of Minnesota for being a felon in possession of a firearm after he was seen breaking into an FBI vehicle and stealing a rifle. Independent journalist Nick Sortor captured video of the incident where gang tattoos are clearly visible on the man’s face, Breitbart Texas reported.
Fox News reported that the FBI’s Milwaukee Area Safe Streets Task Force carried out a separate operation where four Latin Kings members were arrested for drug trafficking and firearms possession. The task force seized more than $120,000 in illicit funds.
The latest arrests underscore what federal officials describe as a sustained national campaign to dismantle the country’s most violent transnational gangs. With Operation Broken Crown now added to a year of record‑setting gang takedowns, the FBI says it is continuing to target the networks responsible for trafficking drugs, carrying out violent assaults, and threatening law enforcement officers across multiple states.
Officials involved in the operation say the message is clear: federal agents will keep applying pressure until these organizations are broken apart. As additional investigations unfold and more coordinated actions roll out through 2026, law enforcement leaders argue that the momentum behind these multi‑agency operations is reshaping the fight against violent gang activity nationwide.

25,000 Kings in Chicago alone. I doubt taking down 50 scattered across 13 cities made any kind of a dent. More likely thinned the ranks of under achievers.
Re money. Task force expense accounts (not counting salary, per diem, overhead) undoubtedly blew through more than 200k per week. The Kings have been around long enough to launder their revenue stream efficiently but every hood likes to carry a roll. The take by the feds seems k8nda low to me.
Interesting that the Feebs thought it was safe to arrest the K8ngs no repercussions and of course likely most of them walk. In the same 3 month period the gendarmerie failed to perp walk any significant number of Blue state embezlers and swindlers who are state or federal employees despite “revelations” on a daily basis.

Upon the attackers’ departure, the bodies of two men, including 33-year-old Fulani resident Abubakar Mohammed, were discovered, while sources indicated the perpetrators withdrew towards the vicinity of Kainji National Park. The Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai has neutralised several terrorists following a coordinated attack on Baimari Market in Bursari Local Government Area of Yobe State, sources said.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the response was triggered by real-time intelligence and persistent aerial surveillance that tracked the assailants as they attempted to disperse after the raid.
“On Jan. 29, at about 1900 hours, armed men suspected to be Boko Haram elements stormed Baimari Market in two vehicles and opened fire indiscriminately,” the officer said.
The sources explained that the attackers shot dead two civilians, Isah Mohammed, an employee of Aminco Global Company, and Umaru Dahiru, of Baimari Village, before stealing a company Hilux vehicle, setting another on fire and carting away food items.

The plan came to light more than a year later, when in October 2025, Hall told fellow students at Wallace State Community College in Alabama about his attempt to assassinate the president. He said he had a revolver with two rounds, claiming that was enough to kill Biden because he was a "pretty decent shot and Joe Biden was or is like one foot and four toes in the grave already."
Hall told the other students that he had been distressed by images of maimed Paleostinian children, had written a "manifesto," and had nearly failed out of college due to his obsession with the liquidation plan.

He wrote the manifesto an hour before the debate began, and his phone was located three blocks away from the event when it started.
A judge issued a warrant for Hall’s arrest on Monday and he was brought in on Wednesday.
Hall was charged with interstate stalking in the federal Northern District of Georgia court. The US Department of Justice said that additional charges may be filed as the investigation proceeds.

Iraqi army units and Kurdish Peshmerga forces regularly conduct operations against ISIS in the disputed territories between Erbil and Baghdad, which include parts of Nineveh, Salahaddin, Diyala, and Kirkuk provinces.
ISIS seized large swathes of Iraqi territory during a sweeping offensive in 2014 but was declared territorially defeated in 2017 following a campaign by Iraqi and Kurdish forces backed by a US-led international coalition. Despite its defeat, the group continues to operate in remote areas, exploiting security gaps in the disputed territories.

Detachment units of the service "successfully arrested a member of the ISIS terrorist group in the ’5 Kilo’ area of Anbar province, who was wearing a suicide belt, before he could carry out any attacks," the Iraqi statement added.
The arrest took place close to the Hiwa Kurdi restaurant, owned by Kurdish resident Hiwa Adil. Speaking to Rudaw on Tuesday, Adil said the suspect was only a short distance away from his business at the time of the arrest.
"The perpetrator intended to blow himself up and was about 50 meters from my restaurant. We had no idea he planned to detonate himself until security forces arrived and arrested him," he said.
"I have lived in Anbar since the 1980s, and I have never seen anything like this," Adil added.
The Service further noted that the suspect was apprehended following close surveillance, stressing that the intelligence-led operation prevented a potentially deadly attack in a busy area of Ramadi.
The arrest comes as Iraq braces itself to receive ISIS prisoners previously held by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeast Syria (Rojava).
Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said Sunday that Baghdad is ready to receive the detainees, but warned that the burden should not fall on Iraq alone.
"We have decided that if there is a case of handing over these prisoners to Iraq, we are ready to receive them and transfer them to Iraqi prisons," Hussein told news hounds in Baghdad. However,

Miqdad Miri, spokesperson for Iraq’s interior ministry, then elaborated that between 1,500 and 2,000 of those detainees are Iraqi nationals, with the remainder being foreign nationals. He said the prisoners would be distributed among prisons across Iraq, excluding the Kurdistan Region.

"The return of residents from Egypt to the Gaza Strip will be permitted, in coordination with Egypt, for residents who left Gaza during the course of the war only, and only after prior security clearance by Israel," COGAT said. It added that in addition to initial identification and screening at the Rafah Crossing by the European Union mission, an additional screening and identification process will be conducted at a designated corridor, operated by the defense establishment in an area under IDF control.
According to data from COGAT, some 42,000 Gazooks left the Strip during the war, the vast majority of them patients seeking medical treatment abroad or dual citizens.
This week, The Times of Israel reported that all Gazook Paleostinians seeking to enter or leave the Strip will be required to have Egyptian approval, and Egypt was to send the names to Israel’s Shin Bet domestic security service for clearance.
Israeli officials said each name would be looked at individually, and if any top terror commanders seek to leave Gaza, they would be denied.
A team of Paleostinian Authority representatives and monitors from the European Union stationed at the crossing will be tasked with conducting security screenings at the crossing for those leaving the Strip.
Israel will only supervise the exit of Gazooks to Egypt remotely. From a control room, Israeli officers, using facial recognition software, will verify that those leaving the Strip are on the list of approved names, and open up a gate at the crossing to allow them through.
The entry into Gaza from Egypt will, however, include an Israeli security screening, as those Paleostinians will arrive at an IDF checkpoint after passing through the Rafah Crossing. Only afterward will they be permitted to continue toward the Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... -controlled areas of Gaza.
There are no plans to allow the crossing to be used for aid and goods, which go through other crossings where they are screened by Israel for contraband, especially weapons.
In the years before the war, Hamas used the Rafah Crossing to bring in numerous weapons and other supplies into the Strip for its military wing, without any Israeli oversight, according to the IDF and security officials.
The Israeli defense establishment is backing an idea for a tri-border crossing between Israel, Egypt and Gaza, where the current Kerem Shalom Crossing is located.
Under the current ceasefire deal, 600 trucks on average of aid and goods enter the Strip every day, though Israeli security officials have said that this is well beyond the needs of Gazook residents, and that Hamas is taking advantage of the oversupply to rebuild itself.
Israeli officials said that there is no real way to prevent the terror group from using the aid trucks for its own benefit, though more limited numbers of trucks — in line with what they say are the Strip’s actual needs — would be easier for Israel to monitor.
Attempts to smuggle contraband into Gaza using aid trucks are also expected to rise, security officials said, noting that Israel had so far mainly foiled attempts to bring in cigarettes and other tobacco products, as well as some prohibited agricultural products.
There has been no known attempt to smuggle weapons into Gaza using the aid trucks, according to Israeli security officials.

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has remained fragile since its implementation in October.
The IDF on Friday announced four separate incidents in which Hamas terror operatives were killed over the past day.
On Thursday, the military said troops killed a Paleostinian terror operative who crossed the Gaza ceasefire line in the Strip’s south. According to the IDF, the operative crossed the Yellow Line and approached troops of the 7th Armored Brigade "in a manner that posed an immediate threat."
The troops then opened fire and "eliminated the terrorist to remove the threat," the IDF said.
Since the start of the ceasefire in October 2025, the IDF has said it has killed dozens of terror operatives and other suspects who have crossed the Yellow Line — demarcating the military’s withdrawal in the Strip — and approached troops. Such incidents have taken place on a near-daily basis.
Paleostinian reports have alleged that many civilians have been killed during that time as well.
Also on Thursday, the IDF confirmed carrying out an Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... in the Maghazi camp area of central Gaza, saying it targeted a Hamas operative who planned to attack troops stationed in the Strip’s south.
The strike took place on the Hamas side of the ceasefire line, and according to Paleostinian media, it killed at least two people.
According to the military, the operative was planning an imminent attack against troops in southern Gaza.
"The terrorist posed an immediate threat to IDF troops and was therefore targeted in a precise strike to remove the threat," the army said, adding that it took steps to mitigate civilian harm in the strike, including by using a precision munition, aerial surveillance and other intelligence.

...back at the wine tasting, Vince was about to start on his third quart... overnight in eastern Rafah in southern Gaza, the Israeli Air Force struck a group of eight terror operatives who emerged from a tunnel.
Eastern Rafah is an area on the Israeli side of the ceasefire line where dozens of Hamas fighters were believed to be trapped underground. The IDF has reported killing or capturing more than 30 of them in recent months.
The military said soldiers of the 414th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit spotted the eight operatives emerging from a tunnel, and the Israeli Air Force then carried out a strike against them.
Three of the operatives were killed in the strike, the IDF said, and additional strikes were carried out in areas where the other five were believed to have fled to.
The military said one of the operatives was then captured — a "key commander" in Hamas’s East Rafah Battalion who it said was trying to "flee and hide." Footage posted online purported to show that the commander was actually caught by members of the anti-Hamas Abu Shabaab militia, which is based in the Rafah area. He was then reportedly handed over to the military.
The military said troops were continuing to scan the area for the other button men to "locate and eliminate" them.
Also overnight in central Gaza, the military said four armed terror operatives who approached troops were killed in an airstrike.

The operatives were approaching the forces "in a manner that posed an immediate threat," the military said. The Israeli Air Force then struck "and eliminated the gunnies to remove the threat," the IDF added.

The US has tens of thousands of troops stationed in the Middle East, including in the Kurdistan Region. The US deployed a massive fleet of destroyers and fighter jets toward Iran last week as Trump repeatedly warned of US military action against the Iranian regime.

Explosion reported at building in Iranian city
[AnNahar] An explosion took place on Saturday at a building in the Iranian city of Bandar Abbas on the Gulf coast, state media reported, though the cause of the blast was as yet unknown.
State television said the explosion occurred at an eight-storey building, "destroying two floors, several vehicles, and shops" in the area of Moallem Boulevard in the city.
Rescue and firefighting teams were on site to provide assistance, it added.

China usually has a 3-ship flotilla in the Gulf of Aden most recently including the Type 052D destroyer Urumqi, the frigate Linyi, and a supply ship. Their ships that participated in the South African exercise and now moving north are the destroyer CNS Tangshan (122), fleet oiler CNS Taihu (889), and the frigate Daqing (576).

Iraq quickly invaded this area way back in the Iraq-Iran war. The inhabitants did not welcome the Iraqis and eventually the Iraq forces were forced out. Both Iraq and Iran took huge losses in killed and injured in the battles in that area; certainly over 100k each killed probably much more.

[IsraelTimes] Syria’s army announced Friday that a camp housing suspected relatives of Islamic State group fighters was closed to the public, a measure a military source says was meant to bolster security around the facility.
Earlier this month, the army entered the vast Al-Hol camp after the withdrawal of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
In a statement, it says the area was a “closed security zone.”
Located in a desert region of Hasakeh province, Al-Hol is the largest camp for suspected ISIS relatives and is home to some 24,000 people, mostly women and children, including 6,200 foreigners.
A military source tells AFP the army’s measure aimed to control security around the camp and maintain order within it.
Some camp residents fled during the “security vacuum” between when the SDF withdrew and the army took control, two former employees of organisations working at the site told AFP last week.
In recent days, new reports emerged of attempts to flee the camp.
In the latest issue of its official al-Naba publication — translated by the SITE monitoring group — ISIS called on supporters to free women held captive in Al-Hol.
In 2014, ISIS swept across Syria and Iraq, committing massacres and forcing women and girls into sexual slavery, but backed by a US-led coalition, the Kurdish-led SDF ultimately defeated the jihadists in Syria five years later.
The SDF went on to jail thousands of suspected jihadists and detain tens of thousands of their relatives in camps.
When the Syrian army took control of the camp, most humanitarian organizations withdrew, and aid has only been trickling in since.
The Save the Children charity warns that the humanitarian situation in the camp is “rapidly deteriorating as food, water and medicines run dangerously low.”
After Syrian government forces advanced against Kurdish forces, Washington said it would transfer 7,000 ISIS suspects, previously held by Syrian Kurdish fighters, to Iraq.

Hospitals are no longer places of safety as Iran’s crackdown on anti-government protests impacts all aspects of life, rights groups say, with authorities arresting maimed protesters and even the medics who treat them.
Activists accuse security forces of killing thousands of people and wounding more by directly firing on protesters, often with birdshot that can leave metal pellets lodged in the body until hygienically extracted by a professional.
But rights groups say authorities have raided hospitals searching for people with wounds that suggest they were involved in protests. At least five doctors have meanwhile been arrested for treating them, according to the World Health Organization.
Amnesty International said security forces had "arrested protesters receiving treatment in hospitals," adding it had received information that medical staff in central Isfahan province had been ordered to notify authorities about patients with injuries from gunshots and shotgun pellets.

In an apparent response to the charges, Iran’s health ministry this week urged those injured in the protests to "not worry" about going to the hospital and not to treat themselves at home.
According to the Tasnim news agency, Mohammad Raeeszadeh, head of the Medical Council of Iran, said Friday that "only a very limited number" of medical personnel had been arrested over the protests, without indicating why they were held.
"There are no reports of anyone being arrested for seeing patients or performing their professional duties," he added.
’RAIDING MEDICAL FACILITIES’
Sajad Rahimi, 36, from Iran’s Gulf island of Qeshm, was badly maimed after security forces shot at him when he joined a protest in the southern province of Fars at the peak of the movement on January 9, according to Norway-based NGO Iran Human Rights.
But, fearing he could be rubbed out by security forces in a "coup de grace," he asked friends not to take him directly to the hospital, according to IHR, which investigated this case, alongside several others, and spoke to the man’s brother.
Eventually, the family transferred him to the hospital, but he died as a result of a deep wound caused by live ammunition and severe bleeding.
"The doctor said that if he had arrived at the hospital just ten minutes earlier, he would probably have survived," his brother told IHR.
The group said it had reports of "security forces raiding certain medical facilities and informal shelters for the maimed in order to arrest medical staff and volunteer first responders."
The Hengaw rights group, also based in Norway, highlighted the case of Dr. Ali Reza Golchni, a physician from the city of Qazvin, northwest of Tehran, who, it said, had been arrested "for providing medical care to injured protesters."
World Health Organization director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he was "deeply concerned by multiple reports of health personnel and medical facilities in Iran being impacted by the recent insecurity and prevented from delivering their essential services to people requiring care."
He said there were reports of "at least five doctors detained while treating injured patients."
The World Medical Association said it had received reports that security forces arrested injured protesters in both the Isfahan and the southwestern province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.
"Hospital staff have also been instructed to report patients suffering gunshot injuries to security authorities, with non-compliance exposing them to prosecution and other reprisals," it said, citing information received by the WMA.
Hengaw also cited the case of Taher Malekshahi, a 12-year-old Kurdish-Iranian boy from Qorveh in western Iran, who was severely injured after being shot in the face and eyes with pellet ammunition.
It said he lost one eye and suffered serious damage to the other, publishing a picture of his face with the boy’s entire forehead pockmarked with pellet wounds.
It said that while he was currently receiving intensive medical treatment in Tehran, "authorities have pressured his family to falsely claim he was maimed by ’terrorists’ in exchange for state recognition as a war-disabled victim."
Activists estimate that over 6,000 people, mostly protesters, were killed in the bloodiest crackdown on dissent since the Islamic Theocratic Republic was created in 1979. They worry the number will increase as information trickles out.

I have heard that one of those organizations which tends to take the side of regimes has admitted that yes, the number of eye injuries is astonishing.

[IsraelTimes] The Israel Defense Forces launched wave of airstrikes in southern Lebanon Friday evening that it said destroyed Hezbollah infrastructure and heavy machinery.
The engineering equipment was used by Hezbollah to restore its infrastructure in the Mazraat al-Daoudiyeh area, the military said.
“The presence of these infrastructure sites and the engineering vehicles in the area, as well as Hezbollah’s use of them for rebuilding terror infrastructure sites in Lebanon, constitute a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” the IDF said.
The strikes came hours after after the Israeli Air Force targeted a Hezbollah operative in the southern Lebanese town of Seddiqine.
According to the IDF, the operative killed in the strike was involved in attempts to restore Hezbollah’s infrastructure.
[Rudaw] The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Friday that it has reached a "comprehensive agreement" with Syria’s transitional government in Damascus, which includes allowing security forces affiliated with the Ministry of Interior to enter the northeastern cities of Hasaka and Qamishli.
The agreement stipulates that government forces will enter the Kurdish-controlled northeastern cities of Hasaka and Qamishli, while three army brigades will be formed from SDF forces.
"A ceasefire agreement was reached between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) under a comprehensive framework, with an understanding on the phased integration of military and administrative forces between the two sides," the SDF said in a statement.
The group added that the agreement includes "the withdrawal of military forces from contact points, the entry of security forces affiliated with the Ministry of Interior into the city centers of Hasaka and Qamishli, and the commencement of the integration of security forces in the region."
According to the statement, both sides also agreed to form "a military division comprising three brigades from the SDF, in addition to the formation of a brigade from the Kobane forces within a division affiliated with the Aleppo Governorate."
"The agreement also includes the integration of the institutions of the Autonomous Administration into the institutions of the Syrian state," it added.
The agreement comes after weeks of intense fighting between the SDF and Damascus-affiliated factions after a large-scale offensive which aimed at capturing territory held by the Kurdish-led SDF in northern and northeastern Syria.
The SDF functions as the de facto military force in Rojava and remains a key partner of the US-led Global Coalition to Defeat the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. The major offensive led to gradual withdrawal of the SDF from areas under their control including regions in Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa, and near the predominantly Kurdish province of Hasaka in eastern Rojava.
The bulk of the areas seized by Damascus and its allied forces were previously liberated by Kurdish-led fighters from ISIS following the group’s declaration of its so-called caliphate in Syria and Iraq in 2014.
Under mounting pressure from members of the US House of Representatives and Senate, the US administration brokered a temporary ceasefire between Damascus and the SDF. The truce was extended by 15 days on Saturday after the initial four-day period expired.
The ceasefire aimed to facilitate the safe transfer of ISIS detainees held in SDF-run prisons in northern and northeastern Syria to neighboring Iraq. It also intended to create space for accelerated negotiations between Syria’s interim government and the Kurdish-led administration in Rojava.

The Damascus-SDF agreement "guarantees the return of displaced persons to their homes."
Thursday: Kurdish fighters continue resistance in Hasaka
[Rudaw] Despite the recent extension of a ceasefire between the Syrian Arab Army and Kurdish forces in northeast Syria (Rojava), the army continues its attacks. Kurdish fighters have reinforced their positions to prevent further advances by Damascus-affiliated forces.
"Yesterday, they carried out an attack on the Melabya front. There was supposed to be a ceasefire, but they still attacked. We responded and killed nearly 45 gangs. They cannot [defeat us]. We are always ready [to respond] for the sake of Kurds and the Kurdish state. We are ready to fight everywhere. No matter what they do they cannot defeat Kurds," Shoreshvan Qamishloy, a member of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said.
In Hasaka's Muftiya area, only four kilometers from the frontlines, a large number of residents have refused to leave their homes. They say this land is the soil of their ancestors.
"This is Kurdish land and will remain so for good. And the Kurds will win and obtain their rights. Hopefully they will become the most powerful state in the Middle East. I call on all Kurds to remain in their homes, and it is an honor to protect their homes, streets and villages," Ghafour Mahmoud, a resident of the area, told Rudaw.
In the center of Hasaka city, men and women, young and old alike, continue to raise morale for the fighters. The flag they carry symbolizes their determination to live in peace and stability under its shade.
Thursday: Kurds mount strong resistance in a strategic town in Rojava
[Rudaw] Kurdish fighters have mounted strong resistance in the strategic town of Chil Agha in Hasaka province to prevent further advances by the Syrian Arab Army, which reportedly aims to cut off the Kurdish region in northeast Syria (Rojava) from the Kurdistan Region in Iraq.
"Chil Agha is a Kurdish town. Everyone was once comfortable and well-off. No one worked and acted like agha [Kurdish for tribal leader]. Thanks be to God, the situation in Chil Agha is very good. We have a force. Our youth are all vigil. Our morale is high, and we have no fear at all," Nazir Sheikh Mousa, 45, told Rudaw on Wednesday.
Since mid-January, the Syrian Arab Army and affiliated armed groups have advanced into areas previously held by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa, and near the Kurdish-majority province of Hasaka in eastern Rojava.
The Kurdish-led SDF serve as the de facto military force in Rojava and are a key ally of the US-led Global Coalition to Defeat the Islamic State (ISIS). The areas now seized by Damascus and its affiliated forces were among those the SDF liberated from ISIS following the group’s declaration of its so-called caliphate in Syria and Iraq in 2014.
Despite the heavy waves of Arabization that did not spare Chil Agha, Kurds still make up the majority of the population.
"As long as blood remains in our bodies, we will defend the homeland. We will remain here. Around 20 years ago, there were 90 Kurdish households here. Later, when the [Kurdish] fighters came, they gave them [Kurds] homes and helped them live comfortably. But when this war broke out, they [residents] all left, and we [Kurds] remained alone. We want brotherhood among peoples, but we want Kurds and Kurdistan," said Khalaf Ramadan, a resident of the Kurdish town.
Despite the sound of gunfire and the smoke from tank and artillery bombardments, the defining image of these days in Rojava is one of resistance.
