[Modernity] Former TSA agents are sounding the alarm on Somali men routinely flying out with suitcases crammed full of cash, undoubtedly linked to massive taxpayer-funded fraud schemes that could be funneling money to terrorist groups overseas.
A former agent from Minnesota described witnessing "Somali men flying out of Minnesota with suitcases filled with cash" amounting to "$1 billion over 5 years," including one instance of a suitcase "filled with brand new passports."
These groups were "always waived through," with a clear "trail" leading back to implicated parties, the former agent claims.
Recent reports from independent outlets like Alpha News highlight these claims, where a former TSA agent at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport recalled seeing “suitcases filled with millions of dollars of cash, and the couriers were always Somali men traveling in pairs.”
Another whistleblower from Phoenix reported a Somali man with a Minnesota driver’s license flying through every 7-10 days with around “$250k cash” in a suitcase.
He claimed to be a “registered courier” sending family remittances to Sudan and Somalia via Dubai. The agent even offered the passenger’s name for investigation by authorities like the FBI or USDOT.
These revelations tie directly into ongoing exposes of Somali-linked fraud in Minnesota, where citizen journalists have uncovered millions in questionable taxpayer payouts to seemingly inactive daycares and care facilities.
The FBI is treating these cases as the “tip of the iceberg,” networks of shell companies appear designed to siphon funds, with one investigation alone spotting $110 million in dubious payments.
But where does this money ultimately end up? A source told City Journal: “The largest funder of Al-Shabaab is the Minnesota taxpayer.”
Al-Shabaab, a Somali-based Islamic terrorist group affiliated with al-Qa’ida, has killed more U.S. citizens than any other affiliate and stands as its wealthiest branch.
…thanks to the American taxpayer.
The pushback escalates further with outright cover-up attempts. Washington State Senator Lisa Wellman has pre-filed legislation to conceal information about daycares and their operators from public view, effectively shielding potential fraudsters from scrutiny.

How can you fly out with suitcase full of cash? If you get caught riding down the road here with a large sum of cash, you will be deemed suspicious and they will confiscate the money and you will have to bend over an kiss your own ass to get it back.

A new Chabad center has been set up on Sydney’s Bondi Beach at the site of the Hanukkah terror attack earlier this month, from which the Hasidic group specializing in Jewish outreach seeks to share acts of kindness with passersby.
The center is being called "Ohel Eli and Yaakov" in memory of Rabbi Eli Schlanger and Rabbi Yaakov Levitan, two Chabad emissaries killed in the December 14 attack in which 15 people were murdered and dozens injured.
"It’s not really a full Chabad house," said Rabbi Noach Koncepolski, the project’s founder. "It’s more like an expanded kiosk where we hand out food and help Jews put on tefillin [phylacteries]. The idea is to have a point of connection to share some kindness, to have a moment of sweetness, with anyone passing by."
"We’re calling it a ’mitzvah house,'" he added, using the Hebrew word for good deeds.
The morning after the attack, Koncepolski and some friends headed over to the Bondi Pavilion site and started offering to help people put on the phylacteries used in Jewish prayers.
"It just blew up immediately," Koncepolski recalled, saying his group put tefillin on 1,500 people a day that week. "After that, we started handing out Shabbat candles and handing out food. During Hanukkah, we gave out thousands of doughnuts to Jews and non-Jews alike."
Now, he added, the team still puts tefillin on "hundreds" of people each day, and hands out pastries and candies to passersby.
Following the Bondi Beach attack, Sydney residents of all stripes have worked to promote unity and fight hatred through projects and tributes, including public swims, communal counseling, memorial rallies and countless vigils.
A new project launched by the New South Wales government, spearheaded by Chabad rabbis, encourages locals to unite with acts of kindness in memory of the victims of the attack. A website calls on people "of all faiths and all communities" to do "One Mitzvah for Bondi."
Koncepolski said the new center focuses on engaging non-Jews, in line with the work of Schlanger, one of the rabbis for whom it is named.
"Eli was a humanist who engaged with everyone and fought to make this world better. We tried to make this project an encapsulation of his work and values," he said.
So far, Koncepolski and his team have been operating out of two shipping containers that have been repurposed to serve as their base.
"This was the best we could do before everything shut down for Christmas over here," Koncepolski said. "We’re hoping to get something a bit nicer once things open up again after New Year’s."
Koncepolski said he has so far funded the project through his own funds and through a mobile Jewish outreach center and library he runs in the Sydney area. He has also received some support from the local government council, he added.
"Being part of Chabad means we don’t start with financial projections," he said. "We start doing the things that are needed, and hopefully, with God’s help, things work out afterwards."

An online map identifying Jewish and Israeli-linked businesses in Catalonia has drawn sharp criticism from Spain’s Jewish community, who say it echoes antisemitic practices from Europe’s darkest chapters.
The project, called "Barcelonaz," appeared this week on the French-hosted mapping platform GoGoCart, claiming to be "a collaborative map of the Zionist economy in Barcelona."
Run by an anonymous group describing itself as "journalists, professors and students," the interactive map lists more than 150 businesses, schools and organizations that it labels as "Zionist." Its objective, it says, is to "understand how Zionism operates" in Catalonia and to call out and denounce what it describes as the impact of related investments in the region.
The map is public, collaborative and regularly updated, it says, encouraging users to donate and to submit additional locations that meet criteria defined by the site’s creators.
How are the anonymous submitters and organizers to prove all the names are true and not merely malicious?
Among the entities highlighted are multinational corporations operating in Israel, like Airbus, which was recently singled out by the Spanish government as an exception to its new laws banning defense trade with Israel, as well as IBM, Microsoft, Siemens, Volvo, Deutsche Bank, and BBVA.
Israeli companies and local Jewish businesses are also singled out, including kosher food businesses and the Hatikva Jewish school in Barcelona.
Jewish community representatives in Spain charge that the initiative encourages discrimination against the community, or possibly worse, according to Spanish Jewish news site Enfoque Judio. Several organizations have filed complaints with GoGoCarto, urging the platform to remove the site and arguing it violates French laws against incitement to hatred and discrimination.
"Barcelonaz is not a harmless map: it is an instrument of stigmatization that contributes to this climate of hostility and directly or indirectly incites discrimination against Jews and Israeli citizens, boycotts of their businesses, and even violence," a source involved in the fight against antisemitism told Enfoque Judio.
"We already saw in Australia the process that led to the Sydney attack a few weeks ago," the source added, referring to the Hanukkah terror attack on Jews at Bondi Beach that killed 15 people and maimed dozens.
In a letter to GoGoCarto cited by Enfoque Judio, Jewish community members call on the company to remove the map because it violates anti-hatred laws and "clearly has an anti-Semitic and discriminatory character, since it intends to identify and stigmatize a population based on their religious affiliation, real or supposed."

[Breitbart] Iran’s clerical regime closed out 2025 with what an Iranian opposition coalition described as an unprecedented surge of state killings — as the group’s president-elect warned the mass hangings amount to “a crime against humanity” and a desperate bid for “survival” by a system that fears an “explosive society.”
The year-end tally, published on Wednesday, December 31, by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) — an Iranian opposition group — put the number at more than 2,200 executions nationwide in 2025, including 376 hangings in December alone, which it said capped the bloodiest year recorded under Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s 37-year rule.
NCRI president-elect Maryam Rajavi said the mass, collective, and arbitrary executions constitute organized crime and a crime against humanity, describing them as a desperate effort by a regime that fears an enraged population and an explosive society.
The NCRI said executions in 2025 were more than double the prior year, asserting the regime carried out roughly 120 percent more executions than in 2024 (1,006), 160 percent more than in 2023 (853), and about 280 percent more than in 2022 (582).
The opposition coalition described 2025 as one of the darkest years in Iran’s contemporary history — and the bloodiest year it has recorded under Khamenei — arguing the regime has increasingly turned to the gallows as its internal crises deepen.
According to the report, the pace of executions accelerated sharply in the second half of the year, with killings over the final six months running more than double those in the first half, culminating in December’s unprecedented surge.
The NCRI said executions were carried out across 97 cities in 31 provinces, up from 77 cities the previous year, framing the geographic expansion as an effort to spread an atmosphere of terror nationwide. It also warned that documenting executions in remote prisons and smaller towns remains difficult, meaning additional cases may not have been captured.
Among those executed were at least 64 women, nearly double last year’s figure, as well as six juvenile offenders, the group said.
The report also documented 13 public executions in 2025 — nearly three times the number recorded the previous year — describing the practice as a deliberate display of intimidation.
Victims spanned all age groups, from 18-year-old youths to 71-year-old individuals, with the average age of the 881 executed prisoners whose ages were known standing at 36, according to the NCRI.
The opposition group said death sentences against political prisoners accused of membership in the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) increased significantly in 2025, warning that 18 such prisoners, between 22 and 68 years old, are currently awaiting execution after receiving death sentences this year or having their verdicts upheld by the regime’s Supreme Court.
It also pointed to what it described as a sham trial in absentia involving 104 members and officials of the Resistance, which it said is paving the way for further executions and terrorist acts, including by labeling participation in PMOI demonstrations abroad as “baghy” — armed rebellion — a charge punishable by death.
At the same time, the NCRI said the anti-execution movement inside Iran expanded “unprecedentedly” in 2025, citing the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign in which prisoners in 55 prisons have staged weekly hunger strikes — a campaign that passed its 101st week on Tuesday.
The group’s president-elect said the regime’s wave of collective and arbitrary executions reflects organized state criminality, arguing Tehran has turned to mass hangings as it confronts major domestic and international crises and fears renewed uprising.
She added that the uprising of merchants and angry citizens in Tehran and other cities in the final days of the year demonstrated the failure of mass executions to deter revolt, declaring the ruling religious dictatorship “weaker and more fragile than ever” and “at a complete impasse,” according to the NCRI.
A separate annual report citing the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) documented at least 1,922 executions through December 20, a cutoff that excludes the final 11 days of the year — a period the NCRI says saw a sharp escalation, with December alone accounting for 376 executions.
