Baton Rouge Judge Tiffany Foxworth-Roberts was removed from her role by the Louisiana Supreme Court in a 4-3 vote, as she was found to have fabricated her background while campaigning to become a judge in 2020.
Foxworth-Roberts became the first judge removed from the bench in Louisiana in 16 years, as justices condemned her 'tortured explanations and excuses' while under investigation. "Y'all are Raycissss!"
Central to the fabrications that the judge pushed was claims that she was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm - the name for the US-led Gulf War in the early 1990s - despite being aged just 16 at the time.
In ads she ran while campaigning for the bench, Foxworth-Roberts wore military attire and claimed to have risen to the rank of Army Captain, and in one ad she said she was 'no stranger to being on the front lines during the call of duty.'
But during the investigation into her claims, Foxworth-Roberts initially would not approve the release of her military records, and when they were eventually released it was found that she never served in combat, and had never been deployed overseas.
Despite being found to have fabricated her combat record, Foxworth-Roberts reportedly argued that she played a role in Operation Desert Storm because she worked with veterans of the war at the Walter Reed Medical Center.
Beyond the allegations of lies about her military service, the investigation also found she falsified some information on a $40,000 insurance claim about a robbery in 2020.
In the investigation into Foxworth-Roberts' insurance claim, it was found that she had claimed around $40,000 in jewelry and expensive goods were stolen from her car during a break-in.
According to NOLA.com, police bodycam footage showed the judge told officers that the theft happened outside her home, but she told her insurance company that the break-in happened miles from her home while she was out campaigning.
The judge initially told investigators with the Office of Special Counsel that she didn't submit any insurance claim after the break-in, but later admitted that she had done so with USAA, the judiciary body said.
Officials also said that goods she reported stolen to police were different from those she reported to the insurance company, including adding an engagement ring to her insurance claim that she didn't tell police about.
The Judiciary Commission said that Foxworth-Roberts admitted during the investigation that she had made up her claims about being promoted to captain in the army.
However, the body alleged that the judge lied to investigators on several occasions while she was being scrutinized, including her initial statement that she never submitted any insurance claim at all following the break-in of her car.
Retired Jefferson Parish Judge Melvin Zeno, who served as a hearing officer for her case, also said that when he interviewed her for the investigation, he found she had 'little, if any credibility.'
Zeno said that he found Foxworth-Roberts repeatedly tried to hide the truth from him, and described her as 'dishonest and misleading.'
As she was removed from the bench, the Supreme Court said in its majority ruling that her conduct 'calls into question her honesty and integrity — minimum qualifications the public expects from every judge.'
Writing in the decision to remove Foxworth-Roberts from the bench, Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Jay McCallum said officials were bemused by her continued attempts to defend herself.
'Rather than take responsibility for her conduct, (Foxworth-Roberts) has persisted with tortured explanations and excuses,' he wrote.
'Therefore, her conduct has done little, if anything, to show remorse or contrition.'
In a statement through Foxworth-Roberts' attorney, she noted that 'opinion was very close with a strong dissent favoring a substantially reduced penalty.'
'Judge Foxworth-Roberts acknowledged that she should have done a better job of supervising her campaign material and discipline was expected. We note that the claim of insurance fraud which was the original anonymous complaint was found not true. There has not been a decision on any further legal steps.'

I don't know this judge or her claims, but I do remember Desert Storm. It was a very short war, but it was a successful one and the military used it to wash away the frustration of Vietnam. The dusted off the National Defense Service Medal and awarded campaign medals liberally for years as it turned into Desert Shield. The judge is probably a liar, but I have not seen her DD-214.

LAPD is “bleeding out” — with the clock ticking ahead of two of the biggest global events Los Angeles will ever host.
As the city prepares to welcome the World Cup in 2026 and the 2028 Olympics, City Hall is locked in a bitter fight over whether or not it will spend the money to secure enough police officers to keep the city and attendees from around the world safe.
“We’re trying to find 170 additional officers to get to 410 so we can staff up for upcoming world events,” LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell told the Los Angeles City Council Friday. “This isn’t hypothetical. The need is real and urgent. If you knew what I know about the threats ahead, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.”
McDonnell warned the department is “bleeding out” officers — and that Los Angeles does not have enough cops to keep the city safe.
410 officers only refers to new hires. Overall, McDonnell said LAPD is down roughly 1,400 sworn officers citywide.
“Even in the best-case scenario, we’re still losing ground,” he said.
The math is brutal. More than 550 officers are expected to leave the department over the next year through retirements and attrition — including about 94 retirements happening as early as January.
On Friday, City Hall was scrambling.
Council members were locked in a last-minute fight over whether to greenlight emergency funding to keep LAPD academy classes moving — or slam the brakes while they argue over long-term budget fallout.

I'd rather we do business with Russia. Europe is lost. Their "leaders" work for someone other than the people who live in Europe. I understand the idea of the EU, but the way it is currently configured seems to be unaccountable to the people and doesn’t seem to serve the interest of its member states. It seems to be an unaccountable bureaucracy similar to what we are fighting in the US. Although I disagree with what the EU is doing in many cases, I don’t consider the German, Italian or French people to be enemies. They seem to be struggling with immigration and government overreach just like us.

Grom nails it. Note how the EU and US press ignore Argentina admitting that Hitler lived there until he died in 1975. His home in Argentina was a duplicate of his place in the Bavarian Alps. Current videos of it are quite compelling and strange as Nazi groups are still in the area. Bormann set up the supply lines and roots to get Hitler out of Germany. Meanwhile Himmler tried to get his Nazi wealth out along with most of Germany's technology and companies. From where I sit, it looks like the war in Ukraine would have never gotten started if the EU, NATO, Baraq Obama, Angela Merkle, Victoria Nuland and Joe Biden hadn't been fucking around in that country. They made big promises but now we can see that all they managed to accomplish was death and destruction.
Do not try to tell me that Putin invaded Ukraine out of the blue and without provocation. There are two sides to every story and I know better than to take it for granted that the CBS version of events is the whole story.
My advice would be to make sure NATO defenses are sound and leave Ukrainians to their fate. It's none of your damn business.

I would also agree with Super Hose. I don't not consider the people in Europe to be my enemies. My problem is with leaders like von der Leyen, Borrell, Merz, Macron and Starmer.
For centuries, while the people of Europe were developing what we now call Western Civilization through their ingenuity, energy and decency they had to deal with military and political elites who thought little of getting those wonderful people killed in bloody, stupid wars.

[JustTheNews] A trial could reveal more about the facts that two outside experts assembled about the Clinton Foundation while investigating the group for possible tax violations.
A judge has agreed to consolidate two cases brought by whistleblowers against the IRS, alleging the tax agency failed to provide them with an award for information on the Clinton Foundation, according to court documents reviewed by Just the News.
The decision, which was not opposed by the IRS, indicates that the trial is moving forward.
The cases were brought by retired federal agent John Moynihan and private fraud expert Larry Doyle and have wound their way through the U.S. Tax Court for years.
The details of the investigation conducted by the two respected forensic financial investigators, Doyle and Moynihan, first surfaced during a 2018 congressional hearing. The pair said they first filed a complaint with the IRS in 2017 sharing the findings of an investigation into the Clinton Foundation.
They testified that year that they believed the foundation wrongly operated as a foreign lobbyist by accepting overseas donations, with the purpose of influencing U.S. policy.
The pair later turned the information they had uncovered over to the IRS as a “whistleblower claim for award,” a program under which the IRS receives claims “about suspected tax fraud, evasion or tax law violation the IRS is authorized to administer, enforce or investigate.”
Earlier this month in the U.S. Tax Court shows the Chief Judge has ordered several disparate cases associated with the Clinton Foundation information be consolidated into one, setting the stage for a trial, according to a filing reviewed by Just the News.
In the filing, the Chief Judge of the U.S. Tax Court Patrick J. Urda ordered all the parties to submit a report on the “present status” of these cases by Jan. 9, 2026, indicating that the challenge is progressing.

SO FAR, STILL UNRESOLVED
The Tax Court had tentatively scheduled a Dec. 1 trial, but met unexpected resistance from the Trump administration. The Internal Revenue Service under Trump filed a motion in August in the case arguing that as a matter of administrative and procedural law, the judge should not let the case proceed to trial because after an initial review, the IRS declined to look into the whistleblower complaint and, therefore, the plaintiffs had no standing to sue.
So far, it appears the court has not ruled on that motion to dismiss the case, according to the court docket.
Doyle told Just the News in August that that latest twist is just another example of the resistance the government has displayed to investigating the Clinton Foundation over many years.
“Not surprising that the IRS would seek to dismiss our case in this fashion simply because that is the same tactic the IRS deployed in our initial case ongoing now almost 6 years in US Tax Court and growing more serious everyday," he said.
“The simple fact is the more the American public learns about the Clinton Foundation as it has in recent days, the more it is entitled to know all the truth and facts involved," he added.
Moynihan and Doyle first detailed the findings from their investigation in that December 2018 testimony before a House committee.
COMPLIANCE PROBLEMS IN THE PAST
The foundation "began acting as an agent of foreign governments early in its life and throughout its existence," Moynihan testified. "As such, the foundation should've registered under FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act). Ultimately, the foundation and its auditors conceded in formal submissions that it did operate as a (foreign) agent, therefore the foundation is not entitled to its 501c3 tax-exempt privileges as outlined in IRS 170 (c)2."
The evidence the pair presented to the IRS were detailed in agency summaries presented in court filings. It included concerns that the Clinton Foundation: was operating as an agent for foreigners who paid it money and that it failed to register under the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA); contributed to activities prohibited by its tax-exempt status, including abortions overseas; and one of the Foundation's allies declared it was a for-profit entity overseas in certain countries while seeking 501c3 non-profit status in America.
The foundation has acknowledged that past internal audits revealed compliance problems with some of its practices but insisted those have been fixed and that it always complied with the law, strongly disputing the whistleblowers' allegations.
In all, Moynihan and Doyle filed two complaints against the Clinton Foundation, the latter which included some of its allies. It now appears that the two complaints have now been consolidated into one case ahead of trial.
In the first case back in October 2020, Tax Court Judge David Gustafson first allowed the whistleblowers' case to proceed, rejecting an IRS motion for summary judgment. He cited nonpublic evidence that the FBI and IRS may have worked jointly on a criminal investigation focused on the Clinton Foundation. Months later, the judge suggested the IRS Whistleblower Office may have evidence it had not disclosed to the court in the case.
“SHUT IT DOWN” SAYS OBAMA DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL SALLY YATES
Additionally, Just the News recently reported an internal memo that shows the Obama Justice Department and FBI put up roadblocks in three separate probes into possible pay-to-play corruption allegations against the Clinton Foundation.
“Shut it down,” Obama Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates was quoted as saying in March 2016 in memos assembled by career agents in three different cities detailing the extensive political obstruction they faced from their own bosses and the Obama Justice Department during the 2016 election as they probed the allegations.
The memos, which were written in 2017, were uncovered by FBI Director Kash Patel and obtained by Just the News in August. The memos include a timeline of the obstruction, showing that as early as February 2016, the Justice Department “indicated they would not be supportive of an FBI investigation.”
The timeline also shows that, in mid-February 2016, then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe ordered that “no overt investigative steps” were allowed to be taken in the Clinton Foundation investigation “without his approval” — a command he allegedly repeated numerous times over the coming months.
“PROHIBITED ACCESS” CASE FILES TO BE EYED
The FBI is also conducting a broader review of material uncovered in “prohibited access” case files to determine whether its own agents or leaders may have obstructed criminal or congressional investigations.
The evidence in those files covers nearly a decade and is related several major political scandals, including Russiagate, allegations of Clinton and Biden family corruption, and the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, officials told Just the News in September, speaking only on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the press.

Pritzker signed the bill despite concerns from opponents that such a law could be a slippery slope (look no further than Canada) and could be used to coerce people with disabilities and financial hardships to choose death.
“I have been deeply impacted by the stories of Illinoisans or their loved ones who have suffered from a devastating terminal illness — and I have been moved by their dedication to standing up for freedom and choice at the end of life in the midst of personal heartbreak,” Pritzker said in a statement.
“Today, Illinois honors their strength and courage by enacting legislation that enables patients faced with debilitating terminal illnesses to make a decision, in consultation with a doctor, that helps them avoid unnecessary pain and suffering at the end of their lives,” he continued.
“This legislation will be thoughtfully implemented so that physicians can consult patients on making deeply personal decisions with authority, autonomy, and empathy,” he added.
The bill, called the End-of-Life Options for Terminally Ill Patients Act, would allow individuals who are at least 18 years old and are residents of Illinois to request and self-administer drugs to end their lives if they have a terminal disease with a prognosis of six months or less to live. The bill includes some guardrails, such as two requests with a five-day waiting period between the first and second request, physician review, informed consent requirements, and mental capacity evaluations, as well as state data collection and some conscience protections for healthcare workers.
“With this law, we are strengthening our commitment to compassionate care for every patient, bodily autonomy for every person, and basic human dignity at every stage of life,” Illinois House Majority Leader Robyn Gabel (D-Evanston) said in a statement.
The Illinois House passed the bill in May, and the Illinois Senate passed the bill on Halloween.
