[NYPOST] A New Jersey man arrested before the annual Red Mass in Washington, DC, had at least 200 explosives in a tent outside — and a notebook declaring hatred for ICE and the Supreme Court justices who were due to arrive at the Catholic church, new court documents show.
Louis Geri, 41, had pitched his tent on the steps of the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle — and allegedly told cops who approached him, ''You might want to stay back and call the federales, I have explosives,'' according to a filing obtained by the Washington Post.
During attempted negotiations with officers, he allegedly handed them a notebook in which he espoused hatred for the Catholic Church, Supreme Court justices, Jews and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to the document.
The cathedral was preparing to celebrate its annual Red Mass, which marks the beginning of the Supreme Court's term, when police discovered homemade explosives inside Geri's green tent on the property.
Several SCOTUS justices typically attend the service — but stayed away as the security threat unfolded, according to the Catholic Standard, the official newspaper of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington.
The Metropolitan Police Department called the bomb squad on Geri, who refused to leave the tent and continued to tell cops he had bombs, the Washington Post reported.
''Do you want me to throw one out, I'll test one out on the streets?'' he asked the sergeant speaking with him, adding that he had a ''hundred-plus'' explosives.
When they told him they were going to forcefully remove him, Geri allegedly threatened that ''several of your people are gonna die from one of these.''
In an effort to de-escalate, a sergeant agreed to read what Geri had written in a notebook, which Geri handed over through a flap in the tent.
The notebook was titled ''Written Negotiations for the Avoidance of Destruction of Property via Detonation of Explosives,'' according to the document.
The sergeant opened the tent flap fully after noticing a butane lighter and another object in his hand, which outraged Geri, who then reached into a bag and told her, ''All right, if you want to do it, we'll do it now.''
He was handcuffed after a brief tussle shortly afterward when he got out of the tent to urinate on some trees.
He proceeded to pull out multiple capped vials containing yellow liquid with explosives taped to them and told her to ''step away or there's going to be deaths.'' Police retreated and formed a perimeter.

His massive cache of devices was seized by the bomb squad and sent to the FBI for testing.
Some of the glass vials contained nitromethane, a common homemade explosive that was used in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, according to the Washington Post.
Others were modified bottle rockets with aluminum foil heads and treated in a pyrotechnic solution, records show. The devices appeared ''fully functional,'' authorities said in court documents.
Geri faces eight charges, including manufacture or possession of a weapon of mass destruction in furtherance of a hate crime. A judge has ordered he be held without bail.

Federal and local law enforcement officers arrested 14 suspected leaders of the Rancho San Pedro gang Tuesday in Los Angeles, capping a yearslong investigation into what the FBI called one of the most violent street crews in Southern California and a known arm of the Mexican Mafia.
FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News Digital the bust marks a turning point in the fight against cartel-linked gangs.
"The era of cartels operating freely in America is over," Patel said. "Every day, the FBI and our partners are dismantling violent networks at the source, stripping their resources, taking criminals off the streets and saving American lives."
The FBI's Los Angeles Field Office said agents executed 16 search warrants across San Pedro and nearby communities with help from the LAPD, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the California Department of Justice.
The case began in Los Angeles and targeted the gang’s leadership, seizing weapons, narcotics and records from homes and meeting spots.
Investigators said the probe uncovered links between Rancho San Pedro, the Sinaloa Cartel and the 13th Street gang — groups allegedly working together to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl and heroin throughout Southern California.
Officials said the takedown hit a gang with roughly 500 members spread across six cliques that pay "taxes" to Mexican Mafia bosses in state prisons.
FBI Los Angeles Assistant Director Akil Davis said the arrests dismantled "the command structure" of the gang.
The federal complaint charges 13 defendants under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and a 14th as a felon in possession. Prosecutors say the crew trafficked meth, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and PCP while stockpiling guns to enforce orders.
Agents also served warrants at affiliated gang locations across the South Bay, as they pursued cartel supply lines tied to the Sinaloa network.
Rancho San Pedro, founded in the 1970s, mirrors the Mexican Mafia’s prison-based hierarchy and punishes disloyalty with assaults or executions, according to the complaint.
If convicted, most defendants face life in federal prison.
All 14 were due in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Officials said more arrests could follow as the investigation continues.

district of Khuzdar has become the center of a severe military offensives bybthe occupational foreign troops of Pakistan that has led to a growing humanitarian crisis. Known historically for its resistance and revolutionary roots tracing back to leaders like Nawab Noroz Khan Shaheed and Safar Khan Shaheed and thousands other Baloch patriot masses has long been seen as a symbol of defiance in Balochistan. However in recent months the situation has worsened significantly for the residents of Zehri.
For the past eight months it had been under the control of the security and defense forces of the republic of Balochistan the Baloch Sarmachars. On August 11 the invading Army of our rogue neighbour Pakistan' attempted to enter the area but failed to take control due to mass resistance resistance. Then, on September 25th, the occupying forces have launched a full-scale ground and aerial offensive, deploying heavy weaponry, fighter jet aircrafts, helicopters, and drones.
The unprovoked assault caused widespread destruction. Homes were damaged, solar panels vital for the village’s electricity farmers were destroyed, livestock was taken or killed, and entire fields were burned or ruined by tanks. Reports from local sources reveals grim reality the army has turned the Zehri hospital into a military camp along with a nearby rest house that now houses troops.
A Village Under Siege
Since the offensives began Zehri has been placed under a strict and total curfew zone by the occupational forces of Pakistan. The inhabitants are prohibited to leave their homes and movement between Zehri and nearby towns at gun point. As a result, the entire population of the village is now facing a deepening humanitarian catastrophic.
Food supplies have run out in many homes. With markets closed and roads blocked, people are unable to access even basic necessities. Relatives of the severely ill people cannot reach to clinics and hospitals for medical emergency, as the hospital has been converted into a military post. One tragic incident involved a pregnant woman who lost her unborn child because she could not get prompt medical care. The local population says the life of the baby could have been saved if the hospital had remained open for civilians.
Fields and crops are being destroyed due to a lack of water and care. Local farmers are unable to reach their land, and irrigation systems powered by solar panels are no longer functioning.
Disappearances and Drone Strikes
Dozens of the young men from the area have reportedly u jected to enforced disappearances since the offensives began. In one incident in Norgama, a nearby village, a drone strike killed Rashid and three other boys. The use of drones in civilian areas has raised serious concerns about indiscriminate bombing.
Another Baloch Safia, a local woman who was abducted during the raids was later released but her ordeal reflects the atmosphere of fear and repression. Families live in constant anxiety, not knowing who might be taken next or when the violence will end.
Communication Blackout and Isolation
Internet services have been shut down for indifinit time and media access to the area remains blocked. With no outside observers and foreign media access the exact number of casualties, hostages and thousands of displaced families requires immediate intervention to stop Baloch slow motion genocide.

Two Hezbollah operatives were killed within an hour of each other in separate Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, the Israel Defense Forces said.
The first strike in the town of Deir Aames killed Ali Issa, who served as Hezbollah’s local representative in the nearby town of Kafra, according to the IDF. As part of his role, the military said, Issa was responsible for liaising between the Iran-backed terror group and local residents “on economic and military matters.”
“The terrorist acted to seize private property for the organization’s military needs, such as renting homes for storing weapons and conducting surveillance,” said the IDF.

Syria’s authorities, who took power last year after the ouster of longtime ruler Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad The Scourge of Hama... , have rejected Kurdish demands for a decentralized government giving them greater autonomy.
The issue has added to tensions with the Kurdish administration that controls swaths of the north and northeast, while differences between the two sides have held up implementation of a March 10 deal on integrating the Kurds’ civil and military institutions into the state.
In a statement on X, Syrian Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra said he had met in Damascus with Abdi, head of the US-backed, Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
"We agreed on a comprehensive ceasefire on all fronts, and on points for military deployment in north and northeast Syria," Qasra said, adding that implementation of the deal would begin immediately.
A government source told AFP the meeting came after Sharaa met with Abdi, the first such encounter since July, and that the pair had discussed "security issues concerning the March 10 agreement."
US envoy for Syria Tom Barrack and Admiral Brad Cooper, head of the US military’s Central Command, also attended, the source added, on condition of anonymity.
Barrack said Monday on X that he and Cooper had visited northeast Syria for "substantive conversations" with Abdi.
The Kurdish leader said they had discussed "issues aimed at supporting the political integration in Syria, preserving the country’s territorial integrity, and creating a safe environment for all components of the Syrian people," as well as ensuring continued efforts to combat Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. Earlier Tuesday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor and state media said festivities had halted in Aleppo.

At least one member of Syria’s security forces and a civilian were killed in bombardment attributed to Kurdish forces that erupted late Monday in Aleppo’s Kurdish-majority Sheikh Maqsud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods, Syrian state television ... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?

"We are afraid and decided this morning to leave our home in Sheik Maqsud," retiree Sinan Rajab Basha, 67, told AFP by telephone.
"We saw a large number of families flee Sheikh Maqsud and Ashrafiyeh," he said, adding that the entrances of the districts were blocked and residents who left were not allowed back in.
The Kurds, who carved out their semi-autonomous administration in the chaos of Syria’s civil war under Assad, have repeatedly called for decentralization, a demand the new authorities in Damascus have rejected.
They have also criticized Syria’s temporary constitution as failing to reflect the country’s diversity, while Kurdish-held Raqqa and Hasakeh provinces were excluded from a weekend ballot for members of Syria’s new parliament.
Syria’s new Islamist authorities have governed Aleppo city since the toppling of Assad in December.
But the Sheikh Maqsud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods have remained under the control of Kurdish units linked to the SDF and the Asayish, the Kurds’ security forces, despite the SDF having officially withdrawn in April under a disengagement agreement reached with the government.
State news agency SANA reported that the SDF "targeted security checkpoints in the vicinity of Sheikh Maqsud" while dozens of families fled the districts.
The Observatory said Syrian government forces used explosive drones and heavy automatic weapons in the neighborhoods.
The SDF denied attacking government security forces, accusing pro-Damascus factions of mounting a siege of Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo and trying to push forward "with tanks."
It said residents had taken up weapons to help the Asayish defend the districts.

The protests reflect a shift in global sentiment, with sympathy that initially flowed to Israel after the October 7, 2023, attacks now increasingly directed toward Paleostinians, leaving Israel more isolated on the world stage.
Anti-Israel protests were well established by the next day, as it turned out local leaders had been warned ahead of time to give them time to organize. So Israel got a few hours of sympathy, and even much of that was merely pro-forma before the speakers turned with relief to berating them for being mean to the poor, innocent Gazan civilians.

In London, students from several universities were due to walk out of classes at 2:00 p.m. local time before marching through the center of the British capital.
Protesters outside King’s College London waved Paleostinian flags and shouted, "Israel is a terrorist state." They were expected to march to other universities.
Mark Etkind, a retiree in his early 60s from London, wore a sign around his neck saying he was the son of a Holocaust survivor and opposed what he called genocide in Gaza. He said a call by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for students not to protest was "outrageous."
"I have always opposed genocide," he told Rooters. "Of course, I support students here who are actively opposing genocide."
Even some Holocaust survivors took the wrong lessons from their bitter experience — George Soros comes to mind — so it isn’t reasonable to expect their descendants to necessarily be wiser. But speaking as one child of a Holocaust survivor to another, Mr Etkind is particularly idiotic.
On the other side:
Emily Schrader, a 34-year-old Israeli public diplomacy activist who was visiting London, called the anti-Israel demonstration on October 7 "utterly disgraceful."
"I think that there are much better ways to support Paleostinians than engaging in an activity like this that is so hurtful, so deeply offensive, and that emboldens radicalism and terrorism, whether on campus or on the ground in Israel," she said.
Rallies or events including vigils were also planned in other UK cities, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sheffield and Manchester, where two people were killed on Thursday when a terrorist attacked a synagogue on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.
Organizers of pro-Paleostinian protests say they are intended to spotlight the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and advocate for Paleostinian rights.
Which is why the protesters are shouting “From the river to the Sea…” and "Khaybar, Khaybar, ya yahud! Jaish Muhammad soufa yaʿoud!", recalling when the Prophet Mohammed’s army massacred the Jews of Khaybar.
But politicians in several countries — particularly in Britannia after the synagogue attack — said scheduling such protests on the anniversary of the Hamas attacks, the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust, could be seen as an endorsement of terrorism.
In the northern Italian city of Bologna, authorities banned demonstrations, citing the risk of unrest after days of protests and festivities with police across Italia. And in the Netherlands, pro-Paleostinian activists splashed red paint on Amsterdam’s Royal Palace in protest against a decision by the city mayor to ban an anti-Israel rally while permitting a pro-Israel event.
