[FoxNews] Joint ICE-state patrol operation uncovers drivers convicted of human smuggling, assault, drug crimes
Officials from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol recently arrested more than 100 illegal immigrants in a three-day crackdown.
In an Oct. 6 statement, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said that the operation targeted "threats to public safety along I-40 in Oklahoma." It took place between Sept. 22 and Sept. 25.
"ICE ran records checks on foreign-born nationals that OHP encountered during patrol," the DHS's statement said. "As a result, 120 illegal aliens were taken into custody for immigration violations, 91 of which were operating a commercial motor vehicle with commercial driver's licenses (CDL)."
Among the 120 suspects, past convictions included DUIs, illegal re-entry into the U.S. and money laundering, as well as human smuggling and assault.
Some of the illegal immigrants were also convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and possession of a controlled substance.
Two suspects were also arrested in connection to a nearby cannabis grow site.
In a statement, ICE deputy director Madison Sheahan said that the suspects had "no business operating 18 wheelers on America’s highways."

Sure, Grom. But with each story more illegals decide to self-deport rather than wait until they are arrested and lose everything. This only started after President Trump was sworn into office in January, but we recently had a report that between arrests and voluntary self-deportations, I think it was 2 million illegals have already left America.
The big take-away here is that something is actually being done. Previously, we were assured by our betters that the illegal alien problem was so large that any solution was impossible.
Now we are seeing action on multiple fronts, not just deportations but voter registration lists getting cleaned and no more CDLs issued to Name Not Given. Once there is no longer a welcoming environment, self-deportation will be more attractive. Lots left to do, but this is a start.

[IsraelTimes] A crew member of the Dutch cargo ship that was attacked by the Iran-backed Houthis in the Gulf of Aden last week has died of his injuries, the vessel’s Amsterdam-based operator Spliethoff says in a statement.
The company does not release further details about the deceased crew member, but a spokesperson tells a Dutch broadcaster they were Filipino.
The vessel, Minervagracht, was in international waters in the Gulf of Aden when it was struck by an explosive device that inflicted substantial damage and started a fire on the ship. A helicopter was used to rescue 19 of its crew, who are Russian, Ukrainian, Filipino and Sri Lankan.

Russian authorities said Monday they have arrested three men suspected of planning to carry out attacks on two Jewish sites.
Two men from an unnamed central Asian country were arrested in Krasnoyarsk on suspicion of trying to use a homemade bomb to attack a synagogue, the state’s FSB security service said, adding that bomb materials were found in an abandoned building.
According to the security service, the plot was ostensibly part of a pro-Palestinian protest and bore similarities to a 2023 incident in Dagestan in which a mob of rioters stormed an airport looking to attack Jews after a flight had landed from Tel Aviv.
The agency’s statement said that while the attack would have used Palestinian suffering as a “pretext,” it was in fact intended “to incite ethnic hatred, with the aim of provoking mass protests on the territory of the Russian Federation.”
The FSB said that, separately, a Russian citizen was arrested on suspicion of planning to firebomb a Jewish community center in Pyatigorsk, near the Georgian border.
According to the security agency, all three men were linked to a proscribed international terror organization, and are being charged with terror offenses. The organization they’re allegedly linked to was not named.

Two knives and means of communication were also seized from him, in which they found correspondence with a foreign coordinator in Telegram. In Krasnoyarsk, terrorists equipped a hiding place in an abandoned building, where they hid components for the manufacture of explosives and striking elements.
[IsraelTimes] A man has been charged after a window of the New Zealand Foreign Minister’s home was smashed with a crowbar Monday and a note pinned to his front door that said “welcome to the real world,” the minister’s spokesperson says on Tuesday.
The glass smashed all over Foreign Minister Winston Peters’ dog, who was sleeping below the window, he adds.
Peters has come under pressure from protest groups and opposition parties in recent days after he announced New Zealand would not be following Australia, Britain and Canada in recognizing Palestinian statehood. Anti-Israel protests have been held outside his Auckland home, with Peters hitting out at the demonstrators earlier Monday.
Peters says in a social media post on X that he was not home but both his partner and a guest were.
“This is truly gutless,” it says. “When we have protesters, political bloggers, and MPs alike encouraging this behavior, posting politicians’ home addresses online, and acting with pure ignorance and extremism, this is the result.”
“All of New Zealand needs to be deeply concerned,” the post says.
Auckland City District Commander, Superintendent Sunny Patel said that a 29-year-old man who is believed to be responsible for the damage had handed himself in to police and would appear in court on October 10.
“I know these ongoing occurrences have caused angst and frustration amongst residents. Police recognize the right to lawful protest, however we will not condone protest action where property is damaged,” Patel says in a statement.
[IsraelTimes] Australia’s most populous state criticizes a pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel group’s plan to stage a protest event in Sydney, the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023 onslaught.
The Stand for Palestine Australia group is planning a “glory to our martyrs” event in Sydney’s Bankstown suburb, drawing condemnation from Chris Minns, the premier of the state of New South Wales, which includes Sydney.
“Terrible timing, shockingly insensitive,” Minns tells radio station 2GB.
“We understand that there is concern about innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza, but to do it … on 7th, seems like they are glorifying the actions of these Hamas terrorists, and not the circumstance of those that are living in Gaza.”

Soldiers of the 595th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit, who operate surveillance cameras, spotted two suspects approaching the Israeli border from Syria.
Troops of the Golan Regional Brigade were dispatched to the scene and detained the pair, who were found to be carrying five handguns, the IDF says.
The two suspects were taken for further questioning, the military adds.
[IsraelTimes] The IDF confirms that it demolished a home belonging to one of two Palestinian terrorists who murdered seven and wounded 15 in Tel Aviv in October 2024.
According to Israel, Ahmad Himouni, 25, and Mohammad Mesek, 19, went on a shooting and stabbing spree at a light rail station in the Jaffa area of the city on October 1, 2024, just minutes before Iran launched a massive missile attack on the country.
Mesek was shot dead by a municipal security officer, and Himouni was seriously wounded after being shot by armed civilians.
Members of the IDF’s elite Yahalom combat engineering unit and the Judea Regional Brigade demolished a home belonging to Himouni in the West Bank city of Hebron overnight, the military says.
Video of the demolition shared by Palestinian media showed controlled explosions in the second story of a five-story building. According to the army, only Himouni’s apartment was razed, with limited damage caused to the other apartments in the building.
In March, the IDF also said that homes belonging to Mesek and Himouni in Hebron were razed. The military confirms to The Times of Israel that the home demolished overnight is a separate structure from the one previously demolished.

Video posted online show what appear to be a series of controlled explosions in a second-story apartment in Hebron, which Palestinian media report belonged to Ahmad Himouni.
According to Israel, Himouni and Mohammed Mesek killed seven Israeli and foreign civilians and wounded 15 others during a deadly terror attack in Jaffa on October 1, 2024, as people rushed to find shelter ahead of an Iranian ballistic missile attack.
Municipal security officers and armed civilians at the scene shot the attackers, killing Mesek and seriously injuring Himouni.
A demolition order signed by Central Command head Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth was delivered to the property in July.
There is no immediate comment from the Israel Defense Forces.

The October 7 massacre occurred on Simchat Torah, a festive day immediately following Sukkot in the Hebrew calendar, and caught the IDF by surprise. Israel’s political and military leadership had disregarded evidence and intelligence that Hamas was preparing to invade, instead assessing that the terror group governing Gaza was interested in maintaining calm. Troop deployments were particularly low given that October 7, 2023, was both a sabbath and a Jewish festival.
Zamir also instructed that "the defensive effort will be the main effort until the end of the holiday period."
"We are at constant readiness, prepared across all arenas for defense and offense. We continue our mission to enable all Israeli’s to mark the Sukkot holiday in peace and security," he said in remarks published by the army.
The IDF has already been on high alert amid the war, especially since pausing offensive military activity in the Gaza Strip on Saturday at the request of US President Donald Trump ...So far he's been unkillable, and they've tried.... as indirect negotiations are held to end the fighting and free the remaining hostages. Jewish holidays are normally seen by the army as sensitive periods with an increased chance of attacks.
Earlier Monday, the IDF reported skirmishes in Gaza despite the halt to offensive operations, adding that it carried out a number of Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s in response to Hamas attacks on Sunday.
The army said one strike was carried out by Israeli Air Force fighter jets on a cell of fighters armed with mortars and bombs, killing them. According to the IDF, "the group had planned to carry out terror attacks against troops operating in Gaza City."
Another strike targeted a cell which was launching mortars at soldiers in Gaza City, one of which lightly maimed a soldier. The army said the soldier was taken to a hospital for treatment and his family was notified. Fighter jets struck and killed the operatives who had been launching the mortars, the IDF said.
In a third incident, the military said Hamas operatives fired rocket propelled grenades at engineering vehicles being used in Gaza City by the 98th Division, without any injuries being caused. Fighter jets hit the building from which the projectiles were fired, according to the army.
The IDF also announced that troops operating in Gaza City about a week ago found long-range rockets primed for an attack on central Israel.
The rockets were located by troops of the 401st Armored Brigade. The IDF said launchers primed to fire the rockets were safely neutralized.
Additionally, the troops located a cache of weapons and military equipment in the area, the IDF added.

The IDF said Atwi was a "significant source of knowledge" in Hezbollah, and led efforts to rebuild infrastructure and procure equipment for the air defense array. The military says he also maintained contacts with Iranian officials who supplied Hezbollah with air defense systems.
According to Lebanese media, Atwi was blind due to the exploding pager attack that targeted Hezbollah members last year. He didn't see that coming
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that the couple had two sons killed during the 2023-24 Israel-Hezbollah conflict.
The IDF said Atwi’s activities "constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon," and his killing was a blow to Hezbollah’s efforts to re-establish itself.
Separately on Monday, the IDF said it carried out Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s in Lebanon’s eastern Beqaa Valley, saying it targeted several Hezbollah military camps where operatives were gathered.
The Hezbollah sites were used by the terror group’s elite Radwan Force for training and planning attacks against Israel and IDF troops, the military said.
"The storage of weapons and carrying out military training against the State of Israel by Hezbollah Lions of Islam constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon and a threat to the State of Israel," the IDF added.
