[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued their offensive on Tuesday, seizing an army camp in the Abu Arif area of Sennar State and advancing towards White Nile State.
The captured camp, belonging to the 66th Infantry Brigade, is strategically located near the South Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... ese border and Al Jabalayn city.
RSF supporters shared videos on social media depicting the takeover, amid reports of army casualties. This marks the RSF’s first operation in Sennar State since the death of their sector commander and the appointment of a successor.
In a separate incident, RSF forces attacked the village of al-Halba in White Nile State, storming its market in an apparent attempt to reach the city of al-Duwaym, a strategic location on the White Nile River.
The RSF’s recent gains build upon their June offensive, which saw them capture most of Sennar State, including the capital Singa and several strategic areas. The Sudanese army currently maintains control over only the city of Sennar.

[SUDANTRIBUNE] Violence in El Fasher, North Darfur, has caused more than 5,000 casualties, including 750 deaths, since the fighting resumed last May, according to a state health ministry official.
An early agreement between the Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... ese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to avoid festivities in El Fasher collapsed after nearly a year, leading to the RSF’s siege of the city on May 10th and subsequent violent mostly peacefulfestivities.
Ibrahim Khater, Director General of the Ministry of Health in North Darfur, told Sudan Tribune that the corpse count from the conflict has reached 750, with an additional 4,700 individuals injured. Khater highlighted the dire challenges facing the healthcare system, particularly the severe shortage of medical personnel, as many doctors have fled the region due to the persistent violence.
The United Nations ...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly... has reported that the fighting, which erupted on May 10th, has displaced hundreds of thousands of people from El Fasher, with many seeking refuge in the Jebel Marra areas controlled by the Sudan Liberation Movement.
Khater emphasized the urgent need for over 200 doctors across various specialities to staff the remaining operational hospitals in North Darfur. He noted that most of the remaining medical staff in El Fasher have chosen to remain in their homes or have relocated to other areas within the state in search of safety.
The official also revealed a critical shortage of essential medicines, including malaria treatments and medications for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cancer. The Ministry of Health has been procuring medicines from local markets, company warehouses, and through imports to address these shortages.
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Military media of the Yemeni armed forces released on Tuesday video footage showing the launch of “Yafa” drone towards an important target of the “Israeli” occupation in the occupied area of Yafa on 19-07-2024.
The Yafa drone, is long-range drone with multi-tasking capabilities, carrying a high-explosive warhead. It is equipped with stealth systems to evade radars and air defenses. but...just...not...good enuf.
This came during the inauguration of the exhibition of the locally-made Yafa drone and the commencement of its operation by bombing the so-called capital of the Zionist entity in response to the genocide crimes against the Palestinian people.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The governor of Hodeidah province, Muhammad Ayyash Quhim, announced on Monday the resumption of work in the port of Hodeidah, which was subjected to Israeli hostile raids last Saturday that targeted fuel tanks and the Hodeidah power station.
The governor, while accompanying the Minister of Transport in the Sana’a government, Abdul-Wahab Al-Durra, confirmed that work in the port is proceeding at a high pace over a 24-hour period after civilian facilities were bombed.
He praised the role of the Ministry of Transport, the Hodeidah Ports Corporation, the Civil Defence Department, the Fifth Military Region Command, and all workers at the port for their great efforts.
That’s one perspective. Here is another:
Huge, long lead time, capital equipment sourced from the other side of the planet will take months to a year for the Houthi to replace depending on how much oil money Iran has to throw around.
And there will be another opportunity to intercept the Houthi's replacement cranes by…
#3
In this [video](https://youtu.be/0AR7bmj0Y2M?t=828) he points out that that harbor cranes were never used since almost all the cargo ships coming to Hodeidah are self sustaining meaning they have their own cargo handling gear and do not need port cranes to offload.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] This is the heartstopping moment armed guards on a container ship opened fire on an apparent Houthi kamikaze sea drone before it explodes in a huge fireball. The video, posted to X by Navy Lookout, shows the large cargo ship sailing through the foggy Red Sea before the alleged Houthi kamikaze drone boat filled with explosives speeds towards it. The small unmanned speedboat, believed to be remote controlled by Houthi rebels is seen ripping through the water while the Ukrainian crew onboard the boat gear up to launch their counterattack.
It is not clear where or when exactly the footage was captured, and the ship has not been named.
In the clip, two armed crew members, crack shots
donning protective gear, raise their firearms while another films the tense scenes on a mobile phone. After crouching and aiming through a the ship's metal railing, one of the crew strikes a clear shot at the quick boat before it erupts in an orange blaze. The massive explosion sends thick black clouds billowing into the sky as the Ukrainian ship continues is journey onwards, leaving the smoking remains of the apparent Houthi drone in its wake.
This is not the first incident of its kind to take place in the Red Sea in recent weeks, however, as just last month a video emerged on social media showing a Houthi USV striking a 750ft Liberian-flagged, Greek-owned cargo carrier.
And though the Iranian-backed rebel group has routinely attempted USV attacks after launching their assault on shipping in November after the Israel-Hamas war broke out, this incident marked the first time they managed to successfully strike a vessel.
The M/V Tutor had been sailing through steady waters before the vessel's security crew noticed a small boat whizzing towards them at speed. The Houthi USV appeared to have dummies on board, with the Ambrey maritime security firm stating: 'Inspectors found three electronic switches connected to 25kg of C4 explosives – approximately 33.5kg of TNT equivalent, and 50kg of TNT,' on the boat. If the boat blew...how did they know about any ordinance or electronics?
But security personnel aboard the cargo carrier appeared to take no action against the USV, as seen in footage. One crew member watched on through a pair of binoculars while two guards held their firearms pointing skywards instead of towards the small boat. The trio watched the USV steadily approach for around 30 seconds and the video cut out before the explosive impact. It did, however, capture the security personnel making a mad dash to the bridge and the panicked crew trying to figure out their next move. No protocols?
The Yemeni militant group has been using kamikaze drone boats for several years, and pioneered the operational use of kamikaze USVs. Most notably, in 2017, an unmanned explosive-laded Houthi USV struck Saudi frigate Al Madinah in the first confirmed use of the drone boat weapon.
Former US Navy vice admiral and Directory of Navy Staff told DefenseNews at the time that he was concerned about the weapon 'being in the hands of the Houthis'.
'That's not an easy thing to develop. There have been many terrorist groups that have tried to develop that, it's not something that was just invented by the Houthis. There's clearly support there coming from others, so that's problematic,' he said.
But despite continued efforts by the US and allies to take down Houthi drones and USVs, they have been ramping up their shipping attacks.
The months-long US-led campaign in the region has seen the Navy face its most-intense maritime fighting since World War II eh?
, with near-daily attacks targeting commercial vessels and warship. Just two days after the Tutor was hit, they targeted M/V Verbena, a Ukrainian-owned cargo carrier in two separate attacks, CENTCOM stated. Oh!
The Houthis have maintained that their attacks target ships linked to Israel, the United States or Britain. However, many of the ships they've attacked have little or no connection to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
A recent report by the US Defense Intelligence Agency said that container shipping through the Red Sea has declined by 90 per cent since December because of the attacks. As much as 15 per cent of the world's maritime traffic flows through that corridor.
'It is deplorable that innocent seafarers are being attacked while simply performing their jobs, vital jobs which keep the world warm, fed, and clothed,' the shipping industry said in a joint statement last month.
'This is an unacceptable situation, and these attacks must stop now,' it said.
I dunno. It's not rocket surgery. Seems like something 1st year engineering students could manage, or even clever high school nerds. You will need to write some custom code, but essentially you are integrating of-the-shelf components - single-board computers computers for management and control, a radio, a drone controller for GPS and waypoints, a camera with computer vision algorithms for target acquisition and homing, servos and motor controllers, etc.
It sounds like a fun project, maybe even better than building autonomous drug-smuggling submarines.
'This is an unacceptable situation, and these attacks must stop now
Yeah? So what are you going to do about it, assuming the moral authority of the DIA is not enough to convince the miscreants to stop?
And I told people about this guy about 10 years ago and was judged. How the fuck was Anjem Choudary allowed to walk our streets untouched for so long. And the police arrest individuals for carry a fucking flag that represents this country. pic.twitter.com/iAC8hb2s5Z
We've only been following this goon for twenty three years.
Indeed. Here’s what Fred’s cute little auto-translate has to say about him:
Anjem Choudary ...self-proclaimed holy man who used to work for Omar Mohammed Bakdri as spokesman for al-Muhajiroun. Anjem is a loathesome little attention prostitute who is to be heard cheering for the home team anytime anybody with a turban manages to slaughter a group of unarmed infidels. Anjem was born in the UK in 1967 and is, as you would expect, of Pakistaini descent. The Ghost of Dante is of the opinion that when he goes to hell his knees will be broken once a month. He was in jug for awhile for supporting the Islamic State...

[KavkazUzel] A native of Ingushetia, Malik Gandaloev, whom investigators also believe to have participated in the hostage-taking in the Rostov pretrial detention center, was sentenced to 20 years in prison in the case of participation in the "Islamic State" and the manufacture of explosives.
As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, in early March 2023, Ingush security forces put three students on the wanted list, including Ingushetia native Malik Gandaloev, who was accused of manufacturing and storing explosives and participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. In this case, the prosecutor demanded 22 years of imprisonment for him.
Gandaloev became the second defendant in the case of hostage-taking in Rostov-on-Don's SIZO-1; he was arrested under the article on escape until August 15. On June 16, inmates of the Rostov SIZO took two employees of the detention center hostage. They identified themselves as members of the "Islamic State", demanded a car, weapons, and the opportunity to leave the SIZO. The security forces stormed the building, the hostage-takers were killed, and the hostages were released.
"Kavkazsky Uzel" prepared a report "Taking of Hostages in the Rostov SIZO" with a chronology of these events.
According to the investigation and the court, in 2023 in Astrakhan, Gandaloev and two other people entered into a conspiracy "on joint participation in the activities of the banned international terrorist organization Islamic State, voluntarily taking an oath to its leader."
Gandaloev also purchased components of an explosive device and transported them to Ingushetia, where he made a homemade explosive substance and an explosive device, which were seized during the arrest in March 2023, according to a message on the court's Telegram channel.
Recall that in early March 2023, Ingush security forces put three students on the wanted list: natives of Ingushetia Malik and Ramazan Gandaloev and native of Dagestan Arsen Gammadov. According to sources, a "farewell" letter of a religious extremist nature was found in the apartment rented by the students.
According to sources, Malik Gandaloev and Gammadov were detained on March 23, and Ramazan Gandaloev himself turned himself in to the police on March 26.
A group of anti-Israel protesters filled the rotunda inside the Cannon House Office Building on Tuesday to protest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s forthcoming speech to Congress.
The group, Jewish Voice for Peace,
…that particular anti-Zionist Jew-hating tentacle of the anarcho-communist Black Bloc that identifies as having a Jewish voice rather than actually being Jewish, even if a few of them legitimately trained as rabbis before finding their calling in the violent overthrow of civilization. They are primarily funded by the Tides Foundation, which receives a substantial amount of funding from the Soros Open Society Foundations, the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, the Rockefeller Fund, etc….
has a record of rhetorical support for anti-Israel terror. It has invaded Capitol office buildings before.
Invasions go beyond mere rhetorical support…
Large protests are expected at the Capitol for Netanyahu’s speech to a special joint session of Congress on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
NBC News reported on preparations for large protests:
Forklift diesel engine hums were drowned out by deafening rings of steel barricades clanking together as the sun set over Washington, D.C., on Monday. Despite an unexpected heavy rainstorm, laborers wearing bright yellow reflective safety vests worked in a well-orchestrated rhythm to unload flatbed trucks carrying thousands of metal gates.
The barriers are intended to control thousands on Wednesday in what is anticipated to be an intense series of anti-Israel protests on Capitol Hill. and this is not a known threat how U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) told The National Desk (TND) Tuesday morning that they have been working urgently to ensure they are prepared for a likely unprecedented number of demonstrators.
Reuters reported:
Police expect a “large number of demonstrators” and were making additional security arrangements but said there were no known threats. I hope they do better than the USSS, for which, once, there was no higher standard.
A coalition of groups is expected to participate in the protests, among them ANSWER
…they used to call themselves International ANSWER, back when they were shouting about the second Iraq war, but I suppose that sounded too much like COMINTERN…
(an acronym for “Act Now to Stop War and End Racism”), women-led peace and human rights group Code Pink ... a U.S. anti-war group. The group describes itself as a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education, green jobs and other life-affirming activities. It was founded in 2002 by Jodie Evans, Medea Benjamin and of the other usual antiwar suspects. Its website lists hysterical allegations of US war crimes, and states that thousands of civilians were killed in Fallujah in 2004. Maybe it was millions. Palestinian groups such as Palestinian American Community Center and Jewish groups including Jewish Voice for Peace.
CodePink told Reuters organizers had arranged buses for human rights advocates to come to Washington from numerous states across the country.
Protesters will be joined by congressional staffers, including staffers for Democrats who have been rallying and signing petitions to oppose Israel’s war of self-defense in Gaza since the Hamas terror attacks of October 7.

If Israel were really interested in committing genocide, there would be a lot more civilian deaths in Gaza.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has confiscated a tanker carrying a huge amount of smuggled fuel in the Persian Gulf waters.
All 12 crew members with Indian and Sri Lankan nationalities were also arrested.
The second naval zone of the IRGC said in a statement on Monday that the vessel with the flag of Togo was carrying over 1.5 million liters of smuggled fuel.
The Belt Guse tanker was seized off the coast of the southern port city of Bushehr. It was smuggling fuel in an "organized way."
Late in January, the IRGC Navy also confiscated a foreign tanker carrying two million liters of smuggled fuel in the southern waters.
The IRGC Navy has been using state-of-the-art detection tools over recent years to monitor all movements in the Persian Gulf and maintain the security of the marine route.
It has over the past years foiled several attacks on both Iranian and foreign tankers in the strategic Persian Gulf region and other high seas.
