#Britain’s defense ministry says a statement by Yemen’s #Houthis that they had fired ballistic missiles at a British destroyer in the Red Sea was false.https://t.co/Qt071bKAsh

The Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him... s did not say whether the attack they said they had carried out on the HMS Diamond had caused any damage, but described it as "accurate."
"These claims are untrue," a British Ministry of Defense (MoD) spokesperson said.
The Houthis said they had also attacked two commercial vessels which they identified as the Norderney and Tavvishi.
The statement said the Tavvishi - which was in the Arabian Sea - and the Norderney had both been hit, and that a fire broke out on the Norderney.
[IsraelTimes] Yemen’s Houthis damaged two commercial vessels in missile attacks in the Gulf of Aden in the last 24 hours as part of the militia group’s ongoing campaign against international ocean shipping, US Central Command says.
The Iran-backed Houthis hit the Tavvishi, a Liberian-flagged and Swiss-owned container ship with an anti-ship ballistic missile, CENTCOM says. The vessel was damaged, but no crew were injured, according to CENTCOM.
Two missiles fired by the Houthis struck the Norderney, a German-owned cargo ship operating under Antigua and Barbados flags, CENTCOM says. That ship sustained damage, but no crew were injured and the vessel continued on its journey, CENTCOM says.
The Houthis previously said they had hit the Tavvishi and Norderney, and claimed to have set the latter ablaze.
MSC Ship Management is the manager of the Tavvishi, according to LSEG data. Reuters cannot immediately reach the firm for comment. Sunship Schiffahrtskontor, manager of the Norderney according to LSEG, also cannot be reached for comment.
CENTCOM says its forces also destroyed an uncrewed aerial system over the Gulf of Aden as well as two land attack cruise missiles and one missile launcher in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.

[Regnum] In northern India, unknown militants fired at a bus carrying pilgrims, after which the car fell into a gorge, killing at least 10 people, NDTV reported on June 9.
The incident took place in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. A bus carrying pilgrims was heading to a local temple when it came under terrorist fire. The bus driver lost control and the car flew off the road.
Paramilitary police and ground forces have rushed to the scene and are searching for the terrorists.
As Regnum reported, in December it was reported that at least 9 people were killed and another 25 were injured as a result of an attack by armed men on a passenger bus in the Pakistani city of Chilas. After the shelling, the bus collided with a passing truck, the driver of which also died.
In July, at least 25 people died when a bus caught fire on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
In May, at least ten people were killed when a bus fell into a gorge in northern India. The bus was transporting pilgrims, and the number of passengers on it exceeded the permissible load. The vehicle fell into a gorge at a distance of about 15 km from the final point of the route.

Israeli forces pounded central Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... anew on Sunday, a day after killing 274 Paleostinians during a hostage rescue raid, and tanks advanced into further areas of Rafah in a bid to seal off part of the southern city, residents and Hamas ..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",... media said.
Paleostinians remained in shock over Saturday’s corpse count, the worst over a 24-hour period of the Gaza war for months and including many women and kiddies, Paleostinian medics said.
In an update on Sunday, Gaza’s health ministry said 274 Paleostinians were killed - up from 210 it reported on Saturday - and 698 were maimed when Israeli special force commandos stormed into the densely populated al-Nuseirat camp to rescue four hostages held since October by Hamas bully boys.
Sixty-four of the dead were children and 57 were women, the Gaza government media office said.
Whatever the real number, those who really aren’t jihadis are what is known in the trade as human shields, putting their deaths on Hamas’ head.
Israel’s military said a special forces officer was killed in exchanges of fire with Death Eaters emerging from cover in residential blocks, and that it knew of "under 100" Paleostinians killed, though not how many of them were Death Eaters or civilians.
On Sunday, three Paleostinians were killed and several hurt in an Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... on a house in al-Bureij in the central Gaza Strip, while tanks shelled parts of nearby al-Maghazi and al-Nuseirat. All are built-up, historic refugee camps.
The Israeli military said in a statement its forces were continuing operations east of al-Bureij and the city of Deir al-Balah in the center of the coastal enclave, killing several Paleostinian button men and destroying bully boy infrastructure.
Israel sent forces into Rafah in May in what it called a mission to wipe out Hamas’ last intact combat units after eight months of war in which Israeli forces have bombed much of the rest of Gaza to rubble while advancing against fierce resistance.
Israeli tank forces have since seized Gaza’s entire border strip with Egypt running through Rafah to the Mediterranean coast and invaded several districts of the city, prompting around one million displaced people who had been sheltering in Rafah to flee elsewhere.
ISRAELI TANKS ADVANCE FURTHER IN RAFAH
On Sunday, tanks advanced into two new districts in an apparent effort to complete the encirclement of the entire eastern side of Rafah, touching off festivities with dug-in Hamas-led gangs, according to residents trapped in their homes.
As of June 5, all but around 100,000 displaced people who took refuge in eastern Rafah after fleeing Israeli offensives further north in Gaza had left, according to the UN agency for Paleostinian refugees UNRWA.
And they screeched that it could not be done. Well done,O Gaza civilians!
"All UNRWA shelters in Rafah have been vacated. Many of the people who were based in Rafah have fled up the coast seeking safer locations in both Khan Younis and the middle area [of Gaza]," UNRWA said in a statement.
Paleostinian medics said an Israeli airstrike on a house in Tel al-Sultan in western Rafah killed two people.
The Israeli military said troops of its 162nd division were raiding some districts of Rafah where they had located "numerous additional terror tunnel shafts, mortars, and [other] weapons" belonging to Paleostinian bully boys.

Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... ’ armed al-Qassam Brigades said in a video posted on its Telegram channel on Sunday that three hostages were killed, including a US citizen, in an Israeli military operation on Saturday in which some hostages were freed.
The group did not release the names of those said to be killed, but the video showed what appeared to be three unidentifiable corpses using censor bars over their faces.
"Your captives will not be released unless our prisoners are freed," the video added.

And since Hamas has such a sterling record of never lying...

This is like a fleeing armed carjacker with baby in the backseat killing a pedestrian and then blaming the cops for chasing him.
I'd bet, IF any hostages did die. They died in captivity, Hamas killed them before rescue, or executed them when the rescue started.
Now for the cruel it sounds real life hard facts.
They Hostages would not have been there unless Hamas launched it genocidal terrorist attack on civilians (not military) and kidnapped, gang raped them and held them hostage for 7+ months, to begin with.
Israeli war cabinet minister Benny Gantz announces that his party is quitting the government, saying #Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “is preventing us from progressing to a real victory.”https://t.co/PIqsrSxi61

A key member of Israel’s war cabinet quit Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government on Sunday, heaping domestic pressure on the Israeli leader as the war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... rages.
Benny Gantz, a former Israeli general and defense minister, announced his resignation from the emergency body after failing to get a post-war plan for Gaza approved by Netanyahu, which he demanded in May.
His departure is not expected to bring down the government, a coalition including religious and ultra-nationalist parties, but it marks the first political blow to Netanyahu eight months into the Gaza war against Paleostinian Hamas ..always the voice of sweet reason... bad boys.
"Netanyahu is preventing us from progressing to a real victory. That is why we are leaving the emergency government today with a heavy heart," Gantz said.
The Israeli premier responded within minutes, saying: "Benny, this is not the time to abandon the battle — this is the time to join forces."
On Saturday, hours after Israeli forces rescued four hostages from Gaza, Netanyahu had urged Gantz not to resign.
Gantz, who turned 65 on Sunday, has been seen as a favorite to form a coalition in the event that Netanyahu’s government is brought down and early elections are called.
His centrist National Union Party submitted a bill last week to dissolve the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, and hold early elections.
HOSTAGE ’PRIORITY’
The former army chief, one of Netanyahu’s main rivals before joining the war cabinet, had repeatedly called on Israel to reach a deal to secure the release of all hostages and to make it a "priority."
Since a week-long ceasefire in November, which saw the release of scores of hostages, Israel has failed to reach any further agreement and has kept on with its fierce military campaign in Gaza.
"Israel has not made it a priority, clearly, so that was kind of the first major break when Gantz indicated that he would leave," said political analyst Mairav Zonszein.
Though Netanyahu’s government is not under any threat of collapsing, Gantz’s leaving does make it lose the only "moderate element" that was in the overall coalition, she said.
"Netanyahu will be left just with the far right ministers, and it’s yet to be seen what role they will play."
One of them, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, immediately demanded to enter the war cabinet in place of Gantz.
Netanyahu is also under growing pressure from his far-right coalition allies, who have threatened to quit the government if he goes ahead with a hostage release deal outlined by US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. We get to suffer the consequences... last month.
Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich have insisted that the government should not enter into any deal and continue the war until the end goal of destroying Hamas has been achieved.
The coalition rules by a slim majority of 64 out of 120 seats in the Israeli parliament and depends on far-right votes.

Gantz "I was Chief of General Staff. Now I want to be PM!"
Israeli Public "If Rabin & Barack weren't enough - your business career flopped, and your political career stinks."

CBS reported at the top of their show last night that this was a major blow to Netanyahu's hold on power. Knowing how much the Dems hate Netanyahu and how much they want Ganz to take over as PM, I understood immediately why they would say that. They gave no reasons for the assertion and it was just before they started crying about all the Palestinian casualties in the hostage rescue. It was also just before I turned the TV off. The biggest lie they tell on CBS is when they call themselves journalists.

[NAHARNET] Israeli strikes have killed two people and sparked wildfires in southern Leb ...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... , state media said, with Hezbollah announcing the death of two fighters.
Hezbollah, a Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... ally, has traded near-daily fire with Israeli forces in the eight months since the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... war began, triggered by the Paleostinian krazed killer group's October 7 attack.
The deadly festivities have intensified in recent weeks, causing multiple brush fires on both sides of the Israel-Lebanon border and raising fears the conflict could broaden.
Lebanon's official National News Agency (NNA) said Saturday that "an Israeli drone carried out an air attack with two guided missiles, targeting a cafe in Aitaroun and killing the cafe's owner, Ali Khalil Hamad, 37, and a young man named Mustafa A. Issa."
The agency also reported a "violent mostly peacefulArclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... " on the border village of Khiam.
Israel's army said in a statement that "one of its planes struck a Hezbollah terrorist in the Aitaroun region."
The airforce had also targeted krazed killer infrastructure in the Khiam and Markaba regions, it added.
Shortly after, Hezbollah said it had launched Katyusha rockets on a town across the border "in response to the Israeli enemy's attacks against southern villages and safe houses, and the targeting of civilians, notably in Aitaroun where two people were killed."
Hezbollah later announced that one of its fighters had been killed by Israeli fire. It identified him as Radwan A. Issa, without providing further details.
More than eight months of border violence, which began on October 8, has killed 458 people in Lebanon, mostly fighters but including about 90 civilians, according to an AFP tally.
On the Israeli side of the border, at least 15 soldiers and 11 civilians have been killed, according to the army.
- 'PHOSPHORUS SHELLS' -
"Israeli artillery bombarded today the outskirts of the town of Alma al-Shaab with incendiary phosphorus shells, causing fires in the forests that spread to the vicinity of some homes," NNA reported earlier on Saturday.
They report incendiary phosphorus shells, but I read it as copious secondaries from huge Hezbollah weapons caches cooking off.
It added that the fire had reached "large areas of olive trees."
No doubt.
Lebanese authorities and several international rights groups have accused Israel of using white phosphorus rounds in its strikes on its northern neighbor.
White phosphorus, a substance that ignites on contact with oxygen, can be used as an incendiary weapon.
Its use as a chemical weapon is prohibited under international law, but it is allowed for illuminating battlefields and can be used as a smokescreen.
Rescuer Ali Abbas of the Risala Scout association, affiliated with Hezbollah ally the Amal Movement, told AFP that "Israel deliberately bombs forested areas with phosphorus with the aim of starting fires."
According to him, rescuers on the grounds have been struggling to extinguish the flames, while the Lebanese military avoids sending helicopters to assist for fear of more Israeli attacks.
Further east, the NNA reported that "a large fire broke out at positions belonging to the Lebanese army and UNIFIL," the UN peacekeeping mission, in the area of the border village of Mays al-Jabal.
Hezbollah has been caching weapons in/under UNIFIL compounds, too? Oh dear.
[NAHARNET] Lebanese authorities have arrested 20 people after a shooting near the U.S. embassy in Beirut said to be in solidarity with Paleostinians in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... , a judicial source told AFP.
A Syrian man was arrested Wednesday after the shooting at the embassy, and a judicial official said at the time that the assailant carried out the attack "in support of Gaza."
The U.S. embassy said on X that "small arms fire was reported in the vicinity of the entrance" and that "thanks to the quick reaction" of the Lebanese army, security forces "and our embassy security team, our facility and our team are safe."
The judicial source said "the number of people arrested over the attack on the American embassy has risen to 20, including the Syrian assailant Qais Farraj, who is receiving care at the military hospital in Beirut."
"Among those arrested are his father, his brother, holy mans who gave him religious lessons and those with whom he was in continuous contact," added the source, who supervises preliminary investigations by intelligence services.
The source added that more people could be arrested or released based on the outcome of the investigation, which is seeking to determine whether any of the suspects had links to an Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group cell or any other bully boy groups.
But the source said existing evidence suggested it was unlikely the attack was part of an organized operation.
A security official told AFP at the time of the attack that the gunman acted "alone", adding that a Lebanese national working for the embassy suffered light injuries to his eye.
U.S. State Department front man Matthew Miller later said Washington was aware the person arrested appeared to be wearing "ISIS insignia", referring to the Islamic State group.
The United States, he said, was "conducting a full investigation with the Lebanese authorities into the actual motivations."
