Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... ’s Iran-backed Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him... s on Monday held a public funeral in the capital Sanaa for more than a dozen fighters they say were killed in US and British strikes last week.
The militia had provided a corpse count of 16 for the strikes overnight into Friday, which would make them among the deadliest since the United States and Britannia launched a campaign in January to deter Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
The Houthis, who control much of Yemen, have been harassing commercial vessels in the busy shipping lane since November, actions they say are in solidarity with Paleostinians amid the Israel-Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... war in the Gazoo

It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. An AFP correspondent in Sanaa said more than a dozen fighters were laid to rest on Monday, including nine members of the Houthi naval force.
Hundreds gathered outside the capital’s al-Shaab Mosque where mourners carried coffins and pictures of the dead as Houthi fighters dressed in blue ceremonial garb staged a military parade.
"My message to US and Israel... and those coordinating with them, is what you have done in Gaza and Yemen, we won’t forget," said Ahmed Abdulatif, a relative of one of the dead fighters.
"We won’t forget how many women and babies you have killed," he told AFP.
The US military’s Central Command said 13 Houthi facilities were targeted in Friday’s strikes.
The British defense ministry said the attacks targeted "buildings identified as housing drone ground control facilities and providing storage for very long range drones, as well as surface to air weapons."
The reprisals have not put a stop to the campaign by the turbans, who have vowed to target US and British vessels as well as all ships heading to Israeli ports.
On Friday, the Houthis threatened to step up their attacks on Red Sea shipping in response to the latest deadly strikes.
"We will not back down," Ahmad al-Bashri, deputy governor of Houthi-held Hodeida, told AFP at the funeral.
"We tell the Americans: Not only do we reserve the right to respond, but also that a response is coming."
The Houthi attacks have forced commercial vessels to divert from the shipping route, which normally carries about 12 percent of global trade.
In February, the Houthis held a mass funeral for 17 fighters they say were killed in US and British strikes.
German Antifa have been praising the murder of the officer who was stabbed to death by an Afghan in Mannheim. The migrant had violently shut down an event critical of Islam. On June 2, Antifa tried to assault people attending a memorial event for the cop. pic.twitter.com/gwK9CIhmaP
Stab the policeman, who died over the weekend. Only after the stabbing of the policeman did one of his colleagues stop the terrorist with, presumably, a Glock. He, too, died.

Maybe Germany should bring back the police from the early 1980's. There was an anti-nuclear protest and it got leveled by the West German police. Then they had a anti-police brutality protest and the West German Police came out to break some heads.

The situation was more complicated and confusing.
The police officer pulled out one of the good guys who was mistakenly hitting another good guy.
He then turned his back to the brawling group and pinned the man on the ground. The Afghan pulled free and then stabbed the officer from behind.
IMHO the police officer acted rashly without first acquiring the necessary situational awareness. Maybe he counted on the other officers to watch his back, which they didn't.
The Afghan didn't shout "Allahu Ackbar".which added to the confusion.
Some commenter on Twitter said this this Imam is a DITIB employee which would make him a religious representative of the Turkish government aka the Erdogan regime.
I guess they couldn't exfiltrate a genuine Hamas Imam because of the Rafah offensive.

A foreign citizen was detained in Romania’s capital on Monday after allegedly attacking the entrance of the Israeli Embassy with a Molotov cocktail, causing a small fire but no casualties, local media and police reported.
A 34-year-old man was apprehended by antiterrorism officers from the Romanian Intelligence Service before police arrived at the scene, police in Bucharest said, adding that the suspect allegedly also tried to set himself on fire.
Local media reported that the suspect is a Syrian national.
A police spokesperson told local news channel Digi24 that the incident was motivated by personal grievances and not by the international context of Israel’s ongoing war in the Gazoo

The Israeli embassy confirmed the incident in an official statement, saying that when security officials approached the suspect "he took out a Molotov cocktail, lit it and threw it toward the entrance door to the lobby of the building."
The embassy thanked the Romanian security and police forces for their "swift and efficient response."
Police said that investigations are underway to establish the circumstances of the incident.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Photographs show smoke and flames engulfing buildings in the Al Bureij Camp.
Photographs taken today show smoke and flames engulfing buildings in the Al Bureij Camp in Deir al-Balah — a city in the central Gaza strip.
Enormous explosions blasted the camp's infrastructure, as Palestinians watched on in horror as the destruction unfolded.
Some were seen running for cover after an Israeli missile hit a residential building in the camp, while thick black smoke and dust covered the area following the strike.
It comes after Israel's military confirmed the deaths of four more hostages held in Gaza since the October 7 attack on a music festival. Nadav Popplewell, 51, Yoram Metzger, 80, Amiram Cooper, 84, and Chaim Peri, 79, all died several months ago while being held by Hamas in the Khan Younis area, The Times of Israel reported today. It is understood that Israeli representatives have informed their families that they are no longer alive and that their bodies are currently being held by Hamas.
Military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said in a separate video address: 'We assess that the four of them were killed while together in the area of Khan Yunis during our operation there against Hamas.'
Hamas claimed in May that Popplewell died as a result of an airstrike but has yet to provide evidence of this, PBC reported.
Months earlier, the terrorist organization Al-Qassam Brigades claimed that Peri, Cooper and Metzger were among seven hostages killed in an Israeli airstrike, NBC reported.
Amiram Cooper has a son named Rotem who lives in San Diego, and as the attacks in Israel were unfolding, Rotem found out that his father and mother Nurit, 79, were abducted by Hamas. Amiram and Nurit had called Nir Oz — a kibbutz about a mile outside Gaza — their home for seven decades, ABC San Diego reported last October.
Rotem added that his parents told him they locked themselves in a bomb shelter at their home.
They told me they basically closed themselves in that room, but there is no way to lock the door,' he said.
Not long after, he couldn't get a hold of his parents, so he flew to Israel as soon as he could, arriving three days later.
Rotem found bullet holes in the door leading to his parents' bomb shelter but no blood stains, which gave him hope that they were still alive.
Amiram and Nurit were held in the same room underground along with five other residents from the kibbutz, Rotem told The Times of Israel. Nurit was released on October 23 and is still recuperating at home with her family.
Metzger, Cooper, and Peri, all near or past 80 years old, were featured in a Hamas propaganda video in December where they are heard pleading with Israel: 'Don't let us grow old here.'
Peri, a resident of Nir Oz along with Cooper and his wife Nurit, explained in the video that he was being held with other elderly hostages with chronic illnesses, and that all of them were living in very harsh conditions.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed President Biden's proposal for a permanent ceasefire, labelling it as a 'non-starter'. Mr Netanyahu wrote on X, formerly Twitter: 'Israel's conditions for ending the war have not changed: the destruction of Hamas military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel.'
'Under the proposal, Israel will continue to insist these conditions are met before a permanent ceasefire is put in place. The notion that Israel will agree to a permanent ceasefire before these conditions are fulfilled is a non-starter.'

"(Israeli army) representatives have informed the families of Chaim Perry, Yoram Metzger, Amiram Cooper, and Nadav Popplewell, who were brutally kidnapped to the Gaza Strip on October 7, that they are no longer alive and that their bodies are held by the Hamas terrorist organization," an army statement said.
Military front man Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said in a separate video address: "We assess that the four of them were killed while together in the area of Khan Younis during our operation there against Hamas."
The Israeli community of kibbutz Nirim had earlier confirmed the death of Popplewell, an Israeli-British national.
Hamas’ armed wing said in a video last month that Popplewell, held in captivity in Gaza since the October 7 attack, had died of wounds sustained in Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s.
Hamas in December released a video showing the other three alive.
Earlier Monday, the military said it had located in Nir Oz kibbutz the body of Dolev Yehud, 35, a paramedic who until now had been believed to be held hostage in Gaza but who was killed on October 7.

#Palestinian officials say #Israeli forces have shot dead two Palestinians in the occupied #WestBank, as Israeli police confirm undercover agents have killed a wanted man in the territory.https://t.co/XdnuFm2djb

Paleostinian officials said Israeli forces rubbed out two Paleostinians in the occupied West Bank on Monday, as Israeli police confirmed undercover agents had killed a wanted man in the territory.
The Paleostinian health ministry in Ramallah named the dead men as Adam Salahuddin Mansour Faraj, 23, and Mutaz Khaled Sadiq Nabulsi, 28.
Israeli police said undercover officers had killed "a senior wanted man" in the Balata refugee camp near Nablus.
"The undercovers entered the area near the refugee camp in broad daylight and closed in on an event hall where the wanted person was staying," the force said in a statement.
"As soon as the wanted person noticed the fighters (agents), he started trying to escape on the roof of the building with a weapon in his hand.
"The undercovers killed the wanted person by shooting" on the roof, the statement said, without identifying him.
The incident triggered an exchange of fire between the undercover agents and "armed Death Eaters in the area who shot at the force and threw explosives," the police said.
The Paleostinian health ministry said Israeli police took one of the bodies with them.
The Paleostinian Red Islamic Thingy confirmed that two men were killed in an Israeli raid, adding that one belonged to a Paleostinian holy warrior group.
Nine others were maimed by Israeli forces in the raid, it added.
The West Bank, which Israel has occupied since 1967, has seen a surge in violence for more than a year, but particularly since the Israel-Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... war erupted on October 7.

Attacks by Paleostinians have killed at least 14 Israelis in the West Bank over the same period, according to an AFP tally of Israeli official figures.
