[POWERLINE] United States Attorney Andrew Luger called a press conference to announce indictments in the massive Minnesota free lunch fraud that we have covered in the linked series of posts since that date back to this past January. At that time the FBI executed a search warrants and property seizures all over the Twin Cities.
The fraud involved hundred of millions of federal tax dollars. It was massive, as I say, but it was also open, obvious, and notorious. The government has charged 47 defendants in six indictments and three criminal informations — with a promise of more defendants to come — in what it assesses to be a $250 million fraud. Luger stated that the government has recovered cash and property worth a total of $50 million to date.
This is a huge story involving the biggest food fraud in history and the largest pandemic fraud uncovered so far. We’re number one.
[Amiee Marie] Bock appears to have been the ringleader who recruited members of the Twin Cities Somali community to participate in the fraud. Bock was the front person who claimed discrimination when the Minnesota Department of Education first sniffed out the fraud...[thus extending the fraud for months].
"Guhaad Hashi Said, 46, of Minneapolis, Minnesota [an enforcer for US Rep Omar], is charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Hashi ran a site under the name Advance Youth Athletic Development that falsely claimed to serve up to 5,000 meals a day."

Somali- one word explains everything. Anyone, anyone who did research on the Somali ExPat communities forming after the disaster of expedited importation from the end of the Clinton era knew that these colonies were a multi-generational, tribal kleptocracy immune to assimilation or genuine westernization. In Minnesota, California and Ohio they have found rich environments to grow their wealth, protected by the double bind of being Black and Muslim, and hence, virtually untouchable. I guarantee this is just one of many such cons with enormous payouts.
As an aside, a real FBI/Treasury investigation into the Hawalah systems in place there would yield so much more. I wonder why it hasn't...
"Hawala or hewala (Arabic: حِوالة ḥawāla, meaning transfer or sometimes trust), also known as havaleh in Persian,[1] and xawala or xawilaad[2] in Somali, is a popular and informal value transfer system based on the performance and honour of a huge network of money brokers (known as hawaladars). They operate outside of, or parallel to, traditional banking, financial channels and remittance systems. The system requires a minimum of two hawaladars that take care of the "transaction" without the movement of cash or telegraphic transfer. While hawaladars are spread throughout the world, they are primarily located in the Middle East, North Africa, the Horn of Africa and the Indian subcontinent. Hawala follows Islamic traditions but its use is not limited to Muslims.[3]" Wiki citation
Hawala works both ways if played correctly though. My hawala guy in 'slamabad got offed in a typical paki argument in the beginning of September. Poor fcuk thought he was helping the i-slam to the end. Oh well... 🙃

Its about time this comes out, sort of. Most vets already know this. They also know nobody gives a shit. So why is this here? No comments, no one really cares. Even the VA cares less. But the VA does care about diversity, they care about trans gender feelings... DOD even set up a special office for it. But the troubled vets? Here's a number at the bottom of the page, gee thanks! Stop reminding us.

Fred Sargeant, 74, was attacked at the 39th Burlington Pride Parade in Vermont, after showing up to protest the 'misogyny' and 'homophobia' of the trans community
Sargeant is famously known in the gay rights movement and was a co-founder of the first 1970 pride parade in New York City known as the Christopher Street Liberation Day march
He also participated in the 1960 Stonewall Riots in New York City that broke out after police raided a gay club in Greenwich Village
Fans were quick to support Sargeant, especially those who have recently detransitioned and others who have been pressured to transition

So where is the problem, many people in LA where probably thinking the same. The scribes are calling this trash, “Elites “
I call them, rapacious class , a societal menace, an aberration that has to be eliminated.

"Olga Skabeyeva said...."
Another queen, Lindsey Graham, said nasty things about V.V. Putin....guess it all evens out.
#3
Really? Does he really believe that if Putin had done that that Russia would exist afterword? Kamala would immediately just offer Putin Lewinskies but France and England would probably nuke Russia out of existence.

Skabeyeva did say 'all the best people', God help her she must watch too much TV. The leaders, so called are more simpleton than actual problem and a sub minority at that.
They could be dealt with in a simple ceremony. Line them all up, if they could summon that kind of concentration and then slap them all like the 3 Stooges. Might need a golf cart. But as with the genie tasked with straightening the hair they would be in a perpetual quandary and thus even more ineffective than they are if such a thing is even possible.
The bureaucrats are another issue altogether. Fortunately most capital cities are pretty flush with lamp posts and trees.

[American Thinker] A group of advocates for people injured by COVID-19 vaccines is meeting with federal officials in Washington, D.C. on Monday through Wednesday of this week to discuss the scope of the problem and the need for compensation for vax-injured people and survivors of those who have been killed by the vaccine and related issues.
React19 leaders will be meeting with federal senators, members of Congress, and Food and Drug Administration officials primarily to discuss changes they say need to be made to the government's Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. The VICP currently is not compensating most COVID-19 vaccine-injured people for their injuries, though many have reported being injured by one or another of the hastily approved government-mandated COVID-19 vaccines. Vax-injured advocates say a small percentage of all injures are being reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) because health officials are strongly discouraging doctors from diagnosing such injuries as such and reporting them.
The meetings were facilitated by Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-Ariz., 8th District), who was made aware of the plight of COVID-19 vaccine-injured people and the need for changes to the VICP by her former constituent, Steve Wenger. He's a former Arizonan who was vaccine-injured in Arizona and now lives in Rogers, Minn. Wenger and other React19 members will stress to federal officials the need for changes to the VICP, among other issues, including the hasty approval of those vaccines despite what they say was inadequate testing of them.
Wenger reluctantly got the jab while working as a construction project manager on a Native American reservation in Arizona, where COVID-19 had hit the community hard. He was pressured to get the vaccine, and after he did, his health took a nearly deadly downward spiral, including being a quadriplegic for months. He's been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a disorder where the immune system attacks the body's nerves and can ultimately paralyze.
Wenger's health has improved considerably due to treatment, but his balance and ability to walk are still greatly compromised since he has no feeling in his legs from the knees down. It's easier for him to ride his motorcycle than it is for him to walk with a cane, because walking on any uneven surface such as grass can make his ankles give out.

Come a long ways since merely suggesting that there possibly could be side effects, even mild ones, would get you labeled a flat-earther anti-science granny-killing genocidal maniac.
[Red State] Trump Derangement Syndrome may have reached a new high — more accurately, low — on September 18th, 2022, when the New York Times printed an article blasting Russian trolls and disinformation for pushing the idea that Linda Sarsour was antisemitic. No, seriously. The Hamas Louse? Nooo!
It singled out an element of the Women’s March that might, at first, have seemed like a detail: Among its four co-chairs was Ms. Sarsour, a Palestinian American activist whose hijab marked her as an observant Muslim.
Over the 18 months that followed, Russia’s troll factories and its military intelligence service put a sustained effort into discrediting the movement by circulating damning, often fabricated narratives around Ms. Sarsour, whose activism made her a lightning rod for Mr. Trump’s base and also for some of his most ardent opposition.
One might think it was Sarsour herself who was responsible for the belief she was antisemitic based on her own words and associations with individuals such as Louis Farrakhan. Obviously, this is not so. It’s all because Sarsour wears a hijab. And Trump, of course.
Linda Sarsour awoke on Jan. 23, 2017, logged onto the internet, and felt sick.
The weekend before, she had stood in Washington at the head of the Women’s March, a mobilization against President Donald J. Trump that surpassed all expectations. Crowds had begun forming before dawn, and by the time she climbed up onto the stage, they extended farther than the eye could see.
More than four million people around the United States had taken part, experts later estimated, placing it among the largest single-day protests in the nation’s history.
One can hear the protagonist in most every Scooby Doo cartoon crying out that he would have gotten away with it were it not for that meddling #OrangeManBad ... er, meddling Russians. How do these people get through the day without their minimum TDS requirement? But I digress.
Given how, during the 2020 campaign, the Biden camp first distanced itself from, then immediately pivoted toward apologizing to, Sarsour, it comes as no surprise that the NYT would attempt playing the RussiaRussiaRussia card in an effort to at least partially rehabilitate her. That, and the Times’ own antisemitic problems.
Freelance journalist John-Paul Pagano described Sarsour’s problem — or, perhaps more accurately said, the problem with Sarsour — in a 2018 story for The Atlantic.
[Babylon Bee] MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA. — Critics of Governor Ron DeSantis are outraged at yet another death that has allegedly occurred thanks to his political exploits. U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tearfully recounted how the Florida governor yanked her from her Venezuelan home and human-trafficked her to Martha's Vineyard, where she died.
Following her martyrdom, Ocasio-Cortez expressed hopes that Taylor Swift sing at her funeral.
After DeSantis recklessly shuttled .0001% of the nation's illegal immigrants to a couple of posh, liberal towns, Democratic lawmakers vowed to investigate whether any laws were broken. After finding no laws broken, the lawmakers then proposed a bill specifically aimed at preventing the use of immigrants as political pawns, appropriately named The Inflation Even More Reduction Act.
"This wasn't the first time I was human-trafficked and killed against my will," said Rep. Ocasio-Cortez from the steps of the City Hall in Martha's Vineyard, while soldiers escorted other Venezuelan immigrants out of the sanctuary city. "And so help me, if it means saving just one child from dying in one of Ron DeSantis' human trafficking airplanes, it won't be the last!"
Following the somber funeral service, the body of Ocasio-Cortez will be returned to her homeland where it will be fed to starving Venezuelans.
