El Paso's Democrat Mayor Oscar Leeser defended sending busloads of migrants to New York City as an attempt to get them where they want to go
'The people are not coming to El Paso. They're coming to America,' Leeser said
Added: 'We don't send anyone where they don't want to go. We put them on buses with food and make sure they get to their destination'
Defense comes after GOP governors received criticism for doing the same thing
El Paso is seeking federal reimbursement for the bus program through FEMA *Snicker* And if the Democrat gets it, Texas and Florida should demand the same treatment.
City has so far sent 51 buses with 2,365 migrants to New York City since August 23 – and seven more buses left on Saturday
The city government signed a contract worth up to $2 million with the bus company to continue the transportation of migrants ...probably lots cheaper than taking care of them at home...
[Khamaa Press] They're not wrong. TikTok is CCP spyware. I have no idea what the other one is
Taliban is going to ban TikTok and Pubg applications in Afghanistan within next 3 months times, the Ministry of Telecommunication announced on Saturday.
The Ministry of Telecommunication in a meeting with the representatives of the security sector and a representative from the Sharia law enforcement administration has decided to ban both TikTok and Pubg applications in Afghanistan within a 90 days period of time.
According to the decision made in the meeting, TikTok must be banned within a month time from now and Pubg should be banned within next 90 days.
The decision has been shared with the telecommunication and internet service providers across the country to implement it within the announced schedule.
Afghanistan is the 3rd country after Pakistan and India that is going to ban Pubg, a popular gaming application.
Pubg is a battleground online gaming application with the most players around the world among the children and teenagers.
Studies and surveys indicated that most users of TikToks are girls and most users of Pubg are boys.
The usage of Virtual Private Network (VPN) applications that will break any internet rule will be a real challenge for the implementation of this decision. VPNs breaks any internet rule and allow the users to browse prohibited links and websites.

It's a video game, Frank. A sort of tag in which one team is trying to kill the other in a dilapidated wasteland, picking up weapons and ammo discarded by the fallen. The Afghans really should have no use for it, since they're living it.
[Breitbart] A recent Department of Homeland Security intelligence report received by the Border Patrol instructs agents to look for Venezuelan inmates released from entering the U.S., according to a source within CBP. The report, reviewed by Breitbart Texas, indicates the Venezuelan government, under the leadership of Nicolás Maduro Moros, is purposely freeing inmates — including some convicted of murder, rape, and extortion.
The intelligence report warns agents the freed prisoners have been seen within migrant caravans traveling from Tapachula, Mexico toward the U.S.-Mexico border as recently as July. The source, not authorized to speak to the media, told Breitbart Texas the move is reminiscent of a similar action taken by Cuban dictator Fidel Castro during the Mariel boat lift in the 1980s.
The report does not state whether the released prison inmates were traveling as a cohesive group but does state it was commonly shared knowledge among migrants traveling to the United States within a caravan in July that many of the Venezuelan migrants in the group were convicts and included hardened criminals.
The report does not specify that the release of the convicts — understanding they would head to the United States — could be a purposeful geopolitical move specifically intended to impact U.S. national security. Another information gap cited in the report acknowledges the unknown role the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), Venezuela’s equivalent to the CIA, may have played in the deliberate releases.
The source says the task of identifying Venezuelans who have criminal records in their home country is nearly impossible. Of the thousands of Venezuelan migrants surrendering along the U.S.-Mexico border daily, most, according to the source, are being released into the United States. Without effective diplomatic relations with Venezuela, the source says access to criminal databases in that country simply does not exist.
“Unless we apprehend someone who voluntarily tells us they have committed a violent crime in Venezuela, we can only guess and that doesn’t work well,” the source told Breitbart. “They will more than likely be released.”
The source says it is unknown how many have already been released into the interior of the United States to pursue asylum.
According to CBP, between October 2021 and July 2022, more than 130,000 Venezuelan migrants have been encountered after entering the United States illegally. In all of Fiscal Year 2020, less than 5,000 were apprehended. This represents an increase of nearly 3,000 percent. In one Texas-based Border Patrol Sector, single groups of hundreds of mostly Venezuelan migrants enter the United States daily.
The report does not specify the location or destination of the released convicts. Frustrated by the increased number of migrant crossings along the southwest border, Republican governors from Texas and Florida began transporting migrants, mostly Venezuelans, to Washington D.C., New York City, and Chicago. Last week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis chartered flights for 50 mostly Venezuelan migrants from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard. The migrants were quickly shuttled from the wealthy island city by National Guard soldiers to nearby Joint Base Cape Cod.
Side Note: Remember, Venezuela also has a massive amount of Political Prisoners. So, IF any of the Anti-Socialist / Anti-Communists government types are released from jail. They might make great 1st hand Anti-Socialist College campus speaking figures.
Some make great a 5th column if properly trained, funded and snuck back in.
It seems Hamas was a bit overexcited yesterday. One would feel pity for them, if only they weren’t so unremittingly evil, except to themselves and select members of their community poor as is the tradition for all branches of the Muslim Brotherhood.
[IsraelTimes] Envoy will present credentials on September 30, Santiago says, explaining that last-minute cancellation was due to killing of Palestinian teen on ceremony’s original date Schedule another riot violent tantrum on the 30th and do it again
Chile’s foreign ministry announced Saturday that it rescheduled the acceptance of the credentials of Israel’s new ambassador to Santiago, seemingly looking to move past a diplomatic spat with Jerusalem, which it caused last week when it held off on going through with the formality at the last minute.
The ministry said in a statement that the acceptance of Israeli Ambassador Gil Artzyeli’s credentials will now take place on September 30.
Explaining the decision to suspend the ceremonial procedure on Thursday, the ministry said it had to do with "the political sensitivity" generated by the death of a 17-year-old Paleostinian during an IDF operation in the northern West Bank. Hours earlier, Oday Salah was rubbed out in violent mostly peacefulfestivities with Israeli troops who were in the village of Kafr Dan to map the homes of two residents who allegedly shot and killed an IDF officer the day before. The IDF said its troops opened fire on suspects who threw explosives at them.
The ministry statement stressed the "exceptional nature" of the killing that led to the decision to postpone the event, while adding that Chile still wants to "maintain a [warm] and constructive relationship with the State of Israel and its people, based on respect, dialogue and cooperation."
Thursday’s move by Santiago sparked fierce condemnation from Israel, which summoned Chile’s ambassador to Tel Aviv for a reprimand on Friday.
A diplomatic official with close knowledge of the incident told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named that Artzyeli "was already at the palace, waiting to go into the room, when the minister of foreign relations came up to him and said that due to an incident that had taken place... with the death of a 17-year-old teenager in an operation by the Israeli military, the president had decided in that context to postpone the delivery of the credentials."
After the incident sparked controversy within Chile, Artzyeli was summoned to the Chilean Foreign Ministry Thursday afternoon.
"They apologized to me and the State of Israel numerous times," Artzyeli told journalists after a meeting with Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Ximena Fuentes. "It wasn’t a very comfortable incident this morning, but being Israeli and a Jew, my people have gone through worse things over the past four thousand years. And we will overcome this morning’s incident for the good of Chile, for the good of Israel and our bilateral relations."
Fuentes also called Israel’s Foreign Ministry Director-General Alon Ushpiz to apologize for the fact that Artzyeli had been unable to submit his credentials on Thursday.
In the reported Saturday call, the Chilean official said that relations with Israel were important and Santiago hoped they would be maintained. Ushpiz said in response that he welcomed the apology as the diplomatic incident could have caused serious damage to relations between the two nations.

"We have some expertise in handling Russian Air Defense. Interested?"
[FoxNews] The United States will lift a long-standing arms embargo on Cyprus in a move that has angered NATO ally Turkey.
"Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken determined and certified to Congress that the Republic of Cyprus has met the necessary conditions under relevant legislation to allow the approval of exports, re-exports, and transfers of defense articles for fiscal year 2023," State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Friday.
The U.S. embargo on Cyprus remained in place since 1987 as the island remained divided following a Turkish invasion that established a breakaway state. The embargo had forced Cyprus to increasingly turn to Russia for weaponry since it could not buy even defensive weaponry, such as night vision goggles, if they contained any American components.
In order to get the embargo lifted, Cyprus had to install several financial regulatory oversight reforms, such as denying Russian military vessels access to ports, and finally met conditions that the U.S. felt were sufficient to prove it a reliable trading partner.
Endy Zemenides, executive director of the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC), noted that Cyprus had made the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) white list, meaning that Cyprus has fulfilled commitments to transparency and exchanges of information for tax purposes.
"This represents the last vestige of … Russification or increasing Russian influence in Cyprus about ten years ago when Cyprus went through its banking crisis," Zemenides explained to Fox News Digital. "People were saying, ‘hey, you know Russians are hiding money or laundering money in Cyprus,’ [and] Cyprus got very aggressive on money laundering, got very aggressive on banking transparency."
The U.S. had partially lifted the embargo in 2020 and allowed for Cyprus to buy non-lethal military goods, indicating that Cyprus was not far off from a total embargo lift.
Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades hailed the U.S. decision as a "landmark" announcement that brings him "great satisfaction."
[Dawn] As Pakistain receives two relief goods-laden trains for flood affectees from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... , it is set to have much more Ottoman Turkishhumanitarian aid through eight more trains in the coming days.
The relief goods received through the first train at Zahedan (Iran) were loaded on two Pak trains after transshipment and finally reached Dalbandin via Taftan a couple of days before. They werelater dispatched to various flood-hit areas of Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... after segregation.
Goods received from Turkey through the second train on Sunday are likely to be dispatched for the most critical flood-hit areas of Sindh, south Punjab 1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard
2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots.... and KP.
A Pakistain Railways official said the first Ottoman Turkish train the authorities received on Sept 16 was carrying 3,100 tents, 6,870 blankets, 2,864 food packages, clothes, flour, etc. These goods were dispatched by the authorities concerned through trucks from Dalbandin city in Chagai district to the areas of Uthal, Khuzdar, Uch, Dera Murad Jamali and Pishin.
"The first train moved from Ankara (Turkey) on Aug 30, followed by another the next day. A third train started its journey on Sept 6, followed by another the next day," the official said. "The trains moved on Sept 6 and 7 are about to reach Zahedan where our trains/wagons are ready to bring these goods to Pakistain after transshipment."
Talking about other trains, he said the fifth train carrying 811 tonnes of relief goods loaded in 39 wagons would depart from Turkey on Sept 20 (tomorrow), followed by sixth and seventh trains on Sept 22 (carrying 1,073 tonnes in 47 wagons), eighth on Sept 27 (450 tonnes in 27 wagons), ninth on Sept 29 (500 tonnes in 29 wagons) and the 10th train on Oct 4 (166 tonnes in seven wagons).
He said the relief goods reaching Pakistain in the remaining Ottoman Turkish trains would also be distributed among flood victims of all provinces as per a plan prepared by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in association with the department concerned. "A ceremony is also scheduled to be held on Monday (today) in Quetta where the Ottoman Turkish authorities would formally hand over goods to Pak authorities," he said.
Pakistain’s broad gauge railway line exists till Zahedan and after that the standard gauge rail begins that is commonly used for rail transportation in Iran, Turkey and Europe. That is why the transshipment of the goods dispatched from Pakistain or Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites.... or Turkey always happens at the Zahedan railway station.
Since the transshipment process takes a day or two for each train, the relief goods reaching Dalbandin via Taftan cannot be transported through the rail network further (Dalbandin to Quetta) as the track here at various places has been washed away by floods.

[Dawn] Pakistain has strongly condemned the "arbitrary arrests and illegal detention" of prominent Islamic scholars and five members of the disputed territory’s Jamaat-e-Islami ...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. The Jamaat opposed the independence of Bangladesh but has operated an independent branch there since 1975. It maintains close ties with international Mohammedan groups such as the Moslem Brotherhood. the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. The Jamaat's objectives are the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores... party in Indian-occupied Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... , according to a blurb issued by the Foreign Office (FO) on Sunday.
State-run APP reported that since Thursday, India has arrested several prominent Islamic scholars, including Maulana Sarjan Barkati, Maulana Abdul Rasheed Dawoodi, Maulana Mushtaq Ahmed Veeri and Abdul Majeed Dar Almadni, and booked them under the Public Safety Act (PSA) in Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.
The draconian PSA allows detention without charges for up to two years.
"This all is aimed to force Kashmiris to forsake their demand for freedom," APP quoted Mahmood Ahmad Sagar, convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir chapter, as saying.
The FO said that such "deplorable actions" only days ahead of the United Nations ...the Oyster Bay money pit... General Assembly sessions were a manifestation of "India’s growing intransigence and utter disregard of human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... and fundamental freedoms".
"These arrests have marked a new low in the Indian occupation forces’ blatant and continued onslaught on the human rights of the innocent Kashmiris. The illegal detention of the Kashmiri Islamic scholars ... is yet another Indian attempt to rob the Kashmiri people of their distinct religious and cultural identity," the FO said in its statement.
It said that arrests under the draconian PSA were a "deplorable preemptive step" by Indian authorities planning to "illegally occupy" religiously significant waqf board properties.
"Apprehensive of widespread protests and unrest in the face of such a malicious move, these scholars have not only been unjustifiably arrested but shifted from [Indian-occupied] Kashmir to a prison in the Hindu-majority Jammu.
"These politically motivated arrests are clearly meant to stifle the voice of the Moslems of IoK and further marginalise them," the FO said.
It added that Pakistain called for the immediate release of the scholars and other illegally detained Kashmiri prisoners.
"We also urge the international community to take note of the dangerously growing trajectory of Islamophobia ...the irrational fear that Moslems will act the way they usually do... in India, instigated at the behest of the BJP-RSS (Bharatiya Janata Party-Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) nexus, that is aimed at suppressing the Moslems of India, denying them space to freely practice their faith and attacking their places of worship," the FO further said.
Earlier this month, Amnesia Amnesty International had expressed grave concern over the intensified repression of rights in IoK in the last three years.
In a report titled, "’We are being punished by the law’: Three years since of abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir", the human rights watchdog observed that in recent years, civil society members, journalists, lawyers and human rights defenders in the region had faced relentless interrogations, arbitrary travel bans, revolving door detentions, and repressive media policies.

Sure, poobah12137. But Ishmael was the first born, even though his mother was merely a concubine instead of the primary wife, so he must have resented being superseded by the late-arriving Isaac. As must his mother have done, who was previously the mother of Abraham’s only child.
Apparently he’s not yet dead after all. But perhaps he is still suffering...
[An Nahar] Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini... has spoken to students in person after being out of the public eye for nearly two weeks.
Khamenei, 83, who normally speaks while sitting down, gave a seven-minute speech at the Imam Khomeini Hosseinieh, or congregation hall, in the capital of Tehran while standing.
Khamenei called the pilgrimage of some 2 million Iranians to the Iraqi city of Karbala for the Arbaeen religious observance a "miraculous move," his website reported.
[An Nahar] Hezbollah chief Sayyed His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah ...The satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb... has condemned a recent amendment in the mandate of the U.N. peacekeeping force deployed along the border with Israel.
The U.N. Security Council on August 31 extended the mandate of the UNIFIL peacekeeping force for a period of a year but with a slight modification in the wording.
Nasrallah took issue in a televised speech with a part of the resolution that states the peacekeeping force "is allowed to conduct its operations independently."
The UNIFIL force, which was first deployed more than four decades ago, has routinely coordinated its patrols and movements in its area of operations in the south with the Lebanese Army.
"This is a trap that the Israelis have set for Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... over many years," Nasrallah said, calling the resolution "a violation of Lebanese illusory sovereignty."
Nasrallah lambasted the Lebanese government for allowing the resolution through and warned that it could give rise "to great dangers in the area south of the Litani" river.
On September 13, UNIFIL reacted to Hezbollah concerns by assuring it was still working closely with the Lebanese Army, a statement Nasrallah welcomed in his Saturday speech.
UNIFIL was set up in 1978 to monitor the withdrawal of Israeli forces after they invaded Lebanon in reprisal for a Paleostinian attack.
It was beefed up in 2006 after Israel and Hezbollah fought a 34-day war, and the 10,500-strong force is tasked with monitoring a ceasefire between the two sides.
Israel and Lebanon are still technically at war.
