Rapper PnB Rock was shot Monday in LA, police told the LA Times. Anudder one bites the dust.
The fatal shooting of the Philadelphia native occurred around 1:23 p.m. at the popular chain restaurant’s Inglewood location, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing law enforcement sources and the LAPD.
Los Angeles police Capt. Kelly Muniz told the newspaper the suspect waved a gun inside the eatery and demanded items from the victim. The rapper’s jewelry was targeted, law enforcement sources told the LA Times.
"He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot," Muniz reportedly said.
The rapper, whose real name is 30-year-old Rakim Hasheem Allen, was rushed to a nearby hospital after he was shot and was pronounced dead at 2 p.m., police said.
Rock was with his girlfriend at the restaurant, according to an Instagram post that included a location-tagged photo, the LA Times reported.

I went there (escorted by a black person, of course). I don't really think chicken and waffles go together, but both were excellent. Soul food is an underrated American cuisine. Deep fried pork chops, collard greens, mashed potatoes...oh dear Lord it's good.
Just goes to show how stupid and immoral these people really are, that they would defile one of their temples just to steal some jewelry. This idiot killed a priest of his own religion and ensured that he's going to have a terrible time in prison. Prison is already shit and he will have no friends.

[NEWSER] A former National Security Agency analyst who sold secrets to the Soviet Union has died almost seven years after his release from federal custody. Ronald William Pelton served nearly 30 years in prison after his arrest in 1985. The FBI said Pelton, who worked for the NSA for 14 years and resigned in 1979, sold intelligence secrets to the Soviets after leaving the agency because he was having financial problems. He was convicted and sentenced to three life sentences plus 10 years after he was turned in by a KGB agent who defected. The Guardian describes Pelton as arguably the NSA's "most damaging traitor."
An obituary of the 80-year-old on the website of a Maryland funeral home doesn't mention the espionage or decades in prison but describes him as an Air Force veteran and gifted musician who worked for the NSA and sold luxury boats "later in his career." In a comment, daughter Pamela Wright described her relationship with him as complicated. "When I was nineteen, he left and didn’t return until I was nearly fifty. During that span of time there was almost no communication. I grew up," she wrote. "Had a family. Went to college and gained a professional career. Had grandchildren. I lived my life without him. When he came back, he was quieter. More mellow. With many regrets." (Read more National Security Agency stories.)
"I lived for years in guilt.
And watched my weewee wilt.
For what? Virtue is worth fucko!
And I'll tell you this, bucko,
Traitors are living it to the hilt!"

[FoxNews] Prospective Boston Marathon runners looking to participate in next year’s event will be allowed to enter as nonbinary athletes without having to register as a member of the men’s or women’s divisions.
The Boston Athletic Association (BAA) made the announcement Monday as registration opened for the April 2023 event. A field of about 30,000 runners are expected to participate in the 127th running.
"The Boston Athletic Association is currently working on expanding opportunities for non-binary athletes at our events, including the upcoming 2023 Boston Marathon. While we do not currently have qualifying standards for nonbinary athletes, we are working on ways nonbinary participants are accepted into the event," the BAA said on its registration page.
"Non-binary athletes who have completed a marathon as a non-binary participant during the current qualifying window (September 1, 2021 through September 16, 2022) may submit an entry application into the 2023 Boston Marathon between September 12-16, 2022. Entry into the event will be determined by an athlete’s submitted time and based on the Boston Marathon’s overall field size limit. The Boston Marathon registration application will feature the option to select non-binary in regards to gender."
The Philadelphia Distance Run was the first large race in the U.S. to establish a nonbinary division and offer equal prize money. The event did that last year.
The Brooklyn Marathon and Half Marathon did it earlier this year.

I didn't read the lead article, but millions of people are woefully deficient in D3, which is also recommended for general health, not just against COVID, but other maladies as well.
I take D3 daily, and I never once thought of it as an anti-ageing supplement.
Aman died after being attacked by a wild kangaroo which he may have been keeping as a pet in southwest Australia, police said Tuesday. It was reportedly the first deadly attack by a kangaroo in Australia since 1936.
A relative found the 77-year-old man with "serious injuries" on his property Sunday in semirural Redmond, 400 kilometers (250 miles) southeast of the Western Australia state capital Perth.
It was believed he had been attacked earlier in the day by the kangaroo, which police rubbed out because it was preventing paramedics from reaching the injured man, police said.
"The kangaroo was posing an ongoing threat to emergency responders," the statement said.
The man died at the scene. Police are preparing a report for a coroner who will record an official cause to death.
Police believe the victim had been keeping the wild kangaroo as a pet.
There are legal restrictions on keeping Australian native fauna as pets, but the police media office said Tuesday they had no information to make public regarding whether the victim had a permit.
Tanya Irwin, who cares for macropods at the Native Animal Rescue service in Perth, said authorities rarely issue permits to keep kangaroos in Western Australia.
"This looks like it was an adult male and they become quite aggressive and they don’t do well in captivity," Irwin said.
"We don’t know what the situation was; If he was in pain or why he was being kept in captivity and unfortunately ... they’re not a cute animal, they’re a wild animal," Irwin added.
Irwin said her rescue center always rehabilitates native animals with the aim of returning them to the wild, particularly kangaroos.

in Australia there are 48 million kangaroos and in Uruguay there are 3,457,380 inhabitants. So if the kangaroos decide to invade Uruguay, each Uruguayan will have to fight 14 kangaroos...
This is just a recon by the kangaroos

Mercutio,
As the saying goes, 'Never say never', but my guess would be no - we've been rotating Buffs through the UK on a fairly regular basis for some time now, and I think this comes under the heading of just one of those things.
[CNBC] CNBC analyst Rick Santelli said President Biden’s "debt and spending" agenda is to blame for continuing high levels of inflation.
"The thing that really bothers me with regard to inflation is that everybody here on this panel agreed months ago that one of the reasons inflation was high was because of all the government spending," Santelli said on the air Tuesday morning.
"After we agreed on that, what did the government do? They spent more," he said.
The CNBC markets pundit was reacting to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Tuesday which showed inflation rose by a robust 8.3% in August — despite falling gasoline prices.
Santelli cited Biden’s student loan debt relief measure as well as the CHIPS Act as key spending initiatives that he believes have sent consumer prices soaring even further.
Earlier his summer, the Biden administration signed into law the CHIPS Act, a $280 billion spending package aimed at boosting domestic semiconductor manufacturing.
Last month, the president announced a student loan forgiveness plan for some 20 million Americans. The estimated cost of the plan is $519 billion.
Personally, I feel, blaming just Biden is avoiding those that are actually running the USA/DC train wreck. Call it the Deep State or Swamp or whatever.
Biden is little more than a clueless/mindless puppet on the string. They were the ones being outed by Trump and MAGA supporters, and they are now violating the Civil Rights of millions to keep that power and avoid criminal trials for subversion, conspiracy, treason, and etc.

It's always healthy for people to be alarmed about inflation and debt, even if they've never had it so good. The only losers are politicians and in November we will see. If the Pubs just squeak by, or don't take both houses of congress, then it didn't even harm the dems.

+0.1 all items for August
+8.3 all items year over year
+0.6 all items for August except food and gasoline
+6.3 all times year over year except food and gasoline
Federal Reserve will be fully justified in upping rates by 75 basis points later this month.

Nothing he can do about it. It's not his fault.

[Free Beacon] The Russia analyst charged with lying to the FBI about his role in crafting the infamous Steele dossier was on the bureau’s payroll as a confidential informant, according to an explosive new court filing released Tuesday. Paid = incentive to lie so the Bureau could use those lies as predicate for warrants
Special Counsel John Durham revealed the FBI hired Igor Danchenko in March 2017, months after the bureau first interviewed him about his work on the dossier. Durham charged Danchenko last year with repeatedly lying to the FBI about his work on the dossier, and his sources for the discredited document. Durham alleges that Danchenko "fabricated" allegations in the dossier that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election. Danchenko worked at the time for dossier author Christopher Steele, who investigated Donald Trump on behalf of the Clinton campaign.
The filing is likely to raise questions about the FBI’s relationship with Danchenko, which ended in October 2020. The FBI opened a counterintelligence investigation against Danchenko in 2009, when he worked as an analyst at the Brookings Institution, a liberal think tank in Washington, D.C. One of Danchenko’s colleagues claimed that Danchenko asked whether he would be willing to sell him classified information. The FBI closed the investigation after Danchenko left the United States in 2011 but did not reopen the probe when he returned.
Danchenko began working for Steele’s private intelligence firm, Orbis, after leaving the Brookings Institution. During the 2016 presidential campaign, Steele, a former British intelligence officer, used Danchenko to collect information about Trump’s possible links to Russia. Steele compiled 17 memos based on Danchenko’s claims in what is now known as the dossier. He provided some of the information to the Clinton campaign, the FBI, the State Department, and numerous media outlets.
It is unclear whether the FBI used Danchenko to provide information about the Steele dossier, or as part of the investigation into the Trump campaign. The FBI first interviewed Danchenko in January 2017, shortly after BuzzFeed News published the dossier. Danchenko downplayed the allegations in the salacious document, telling FBI agents that Steele had embellished claims that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia.
Though Danchenko undermined aspects of the dossier in those interviews, the FBI failed to disclose the information to the federal court that granted surveillance warrants against the Trump campaign.
The Justice Department’s inspector general blasted the FBI for failing to verify the dossier before relying on it to obtain the surveillance warrants. The inspector general also found that FBI agents withheld exculpatory evidence that undercut the collusion theory.
They're talking about San Francisco. A more likely culprit would be people pooping in the bay.
[FoxNews] Every time one of the over 7 million people living in the San Francisco Bay Area flushes a toilet, they feed potentially harmful red algae in the bay and its estuaries. The issue came to a head last month when images and videos of thousands of fish floating belly up in Oakland, California’s Lake Merritt, made national news.
A harmful algae bloom called "red tide" killed the creatures.
A heat wave then compounded the issue by hastening the fish rot. Neighbors told KTVU FOX 2 that the stench was unbearable, and the city rushed to clear out 10,000 dead fish before the long, Labor Day weekend.
"So if you flush the toilet, you're sending nutrients to local wastewater treatment plants that discharges to San Francisco Bay," said Eileen White, chief officer of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Control Board, which regulates and permits all wastewater utilities in the Bay Area. "Over 60% of the (nutrient) loads to San Francisco Bay comes from the wastewater treatment plants."
White said all their discharges into the bay meet current effluent limits, but nutrient loads have been increasing.
"Nutrient loads have continued to increase over the last two decades until 2018," White said. "We said, 'We're not, we can't keep going on this curve, and at some point, we're going to hit the tipping point.'"
"This is an ongoing issue that's not going away, and I think this was a critical last month," White said. "(It has) highlighted an issue to the Bay Area, that people were not aware of, that we at the water board have been aware of for over a decade and studying it, but I think now the public has become aware of a multi-billion-dollar issue that's facing the Bay Area."
A COSTLY SOLUTION
The water board re-issues permits in 2024, and White said they are analyzing data collected about the nutrient load numbers and the science of red tide before possibly setting new effluent limits, which would mean more costly treatment and disposal.
White said the water board tasked all wastewater utilities in 2018 to study alternatives to dumping in the bay and upgrade equipment. The upgrades would have cost an estimated $14 billion to implement, she said.
"Wastewater utilities would have to go on that and pass that on to the ratepayers, and so that's why we want to make sure the science is informing the future regulations," White said. "That's the message: rates can go up very significantly."
