[NPR] MIAMI — Florida's former Democratic candidate for Governor Andrew Gillum, narrowly defeated four years ago by Republican Ron DeSantis, now faces indictment on campaign fraud charges.
The U.S. Attorney in Florida's Northern District says a federal grand jury has returned a 21-count indictment against Gillum and a former campaign advisor, Sharon Lettman-Hicks. The indictment says between 2016 and 2019, Gillum and Lettman-Hicks unlawfully channeled campaign funds to a company owned by Lettman-Hicks. It says she then forwarded the funds, disguised as payroll payments to Gillum for his personal use.
Lawyers for Gillum, Marc Elias and David Oscar Markus released a statement, saying, "The government got it wrong today. The evidence in this case is clear and will show that Mr. Gillum is innocent of all charges." Notice the sewer rat DNC lawyer Marc Elias shows up again?
It's another low point for Gillum, who just four years ago was a rising star in the Democratic party. The former mayor of Tallahassee, he was popular and charismatic, but had long been connected with federal investigations. While mayor, he faced scrutiny for trips paid for by lobbyists and special interests.
One of the charges Gillum faces stems from a 2016 trip to New York City and tickets to the Broadway show, "Hamilton." They were paid for by an undercover FBI agent posing as a developer who said he wanted Gillum's help in approving projects. In later interviews with agents, Gillum denied receiving anything of value from the purported developer.
Following his narrow loss to DeSantis, by less than a half percentage point, in March 2020 he was caught up in a scandal involving drugs and sex. Paramedics were called to a Miami Beach hotel room to treat a male sex worker for a drug overdose. Police said Gillum was incapacitated and that they found suspected drugs but no charges were filed. Gillum later said he suffered from alcohol abuse and entered a rehab center.
[FOXNEWS] Figures on liberal media networks CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... , NBC and MSNBC have pushed the narrative that Republicans do not deserve equal coverage alongside their Democratic counterparts, often claiming Republicans stand for anti-Democratic values and are more likely to push falsehoods.
On MSNBC's "The ReidOut" Monday night, Joy Reid and her guest, left-wing political analyst Mathew Dowd, suggested the media were too neutral in their reporting on the Republican Party, and thus needed to ramp up the hostility. She added that both sides were "not the same," and also urged fellow news hounds to "tell voters" the GOP was a "threat" to freedom.
She wondered to Dowd how the media could "get out" of this "’both sides’ trajectory," to which he advised the media to act as though they were living in a society that wasn't free and treat Republicans accordingly.
Just a week earlier, CNN primetime host Don Lemon also shot down the idea Republicans and Democrats should be afforded equal footing in media coverage. Lemon called the freedom to "state [his] truth" and stand up for his viewpoints "imperative," noting that journalists no longer live in a "Walter Cronkite society."

Theory (no proof, just backroom deal making Theory). Could it be, that the DNC allocates x-$$$Millions to Dem campaigns, the campaigns cant pay CNN, NBC, MSNBC directly for positive coverage over Republican opponents, but they would slide big bucks under the table to key journalists/executives???

They're not journalists, they are open political operatives for the Democrats. They are the enemy of the people.
[EIA] Proved reserves of U.S. crude oil and lease condensate declined 19%, from 47.2 billion barrels to 38.2 billion barrels at the end of 2020.
Proved reserves are estimated volumes of hydrocarbon resources that analysis of geologic and engineering data demonstrates with reasonable certainty 1 are recoverable under existing economic and operating conditions. Reserves estimates change from year to year because of:
New discoveries
Thorough appraisals of existing fields
Production of existing reserves
Changes in prices, costs, ownership, or planned infrastructure

Regime Change in Venezuela would seem a worthy goal for the CIA. If the chart is accurate, civilian nuke power plants and that whole Monroe Doctrine thingy would be worth a re-look!
