[NTD] A police officer caught a 1-month-old baby dropped from a second-floor balcony in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Saturday morning, according to authorities.
Jersey City Police responded to a call of a child in danger and found a man threatening to throw the baby from the second story of the building, Mayor Steven Fulop said in an Instagram post.
Officers set up a perimeter to negotiate, but "eventually the man did throw the one-month-old baby from the second story of the building," the mayor said.
Officer Eduardo Matute caught the baby, who was not physically harmed, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The prosecutor’s office also praised Officer Joseph Casey and Incident Commander Capt. Michael McKerry for their "actions and bravery" responding to the incident.
The man was arrested, and the investigation is ongoing, said Jersey City spokesperson Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione. The suspect was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, she said.

Big gummint urgently needs migrants. Migrant children attend public schools (no explanation necessary). Migrants use gummit funded med facilities and public transportation. Migrants bolster sagging urban populations. Migrants work cheap and for longer hours. Migrants don't generally unionize or go on strike. Migrants tend to shop at Chinese box stores. Migrants pay taxes and some vote for dems. Due to genetics, few migrant live to experience the Western style 'golden years' or collect Social Security.

The NOPD still uses horses for Mardi Gras crowd control. Not too many people want to face down a skittish 1,000+ pound animal who the rider may or may not be able to control.

[All Africa] Moses Thomas, a former general with the Armed Forces of Liberia has been found guilty of the killing of an estimated 600 civilians in the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Massacre more than three decades ago, a court in Philadelphia, in the U.S. has ruled.
Thomas, who headed the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SATU) ordered and directed the killing of people predominantly of the Gio and Mano tribes on July 29, 1990. It said he is liable for war crimes, crimes against humanity under the U.S. Torture Victim Protection Act (TVPA) and the Alien Tort Act (ATC) the court said.
Four Liberians, known by the court as Jane W, John X, John Y, and John Z for fear of reprisal in Liberia, filed a civil lawsuit against Thomas, 67. The massacres are the single worst atrocity in the Liberian Civil War and sparked a string of retaliatory murders spanning 14 years (1989 -2003).
The court will now determine how much damages the victims families will receive from Thomas, who fled the U.S. for Liberia in 2020.

[Korrespondent] Near Kiev, the car of the first assistant to the President of Ukraine Serhiy Shefir was fired upon. Shefir himself was not injured, but his driver received several injuries.
Korrespondent.net has collected everything that is known about the attempt on the life of an influential ally of the head of state.
Shot from the forest
The Ministry of Internal Affairs says that the car was fired at by a submachine gun from the forest at about 10 am. It happened near the village of Lesniki, Kiev region. More than 10 bullets hit the car.
According to media sources, three bullets hit the driver's leg, he is being prepared for surgery. With three bullet wounds, he did not get up from behind the wheel and drove himself to the supermarket parking lot.
The SBU, together with the National Police and the State Security Department, is clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. The necessary investigative and operational measures are being carried out, employees of the Security Service are working on the spot.
According to Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova, they fired from a 7.62 caliber automatic weapon.
Reaction
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is currently on a visit to the United States. He recorded a video message regarding the assassination attempt on Shefir, stating that he did not need to convey greetings to him in this way, and promising a strong response.
"It is believed that this was an attempted murder. Immediately after speaking at the UN General Assembly, I leave for the capital. Frankly, I don't know who is behind this. What kind of forces can be, internal or external, but for myself, I do not consider them to be strong. Because it is a weakness to greet me with shots from the forest at my friend's car. But the answer will be strong," Zelensky said.
Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova said that the attackers who fired at Shefir's car challenged the law enforcement system.
The President's Office said that the attack on Shefir could be qualified as an attempted murder of a key member of the team, which is related to the fight against the oligarchs.
“Obviously, this open, deliberate and extremely brutal assault with automatic weapons cannot be qualified otherwise than an attempted murder of a key member of the team. Law enforcement agencies are taking all the necessary measures to catch the criminals. An interception plan has been announced in the Kiev region. I must say right away that we, of course, associate this attack with an aggressive and even militant campaign to counter the active policy of the Head of State. A policy aimed at significantly reducing the traditional influence of shadow oligarchs on social processes, as well as at destroying political and financial groups that openly work for our external opponents, "said Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the OP.
The head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia named three possible reasons for the assassination attempt: "hello" from criminals and smugglers, "Russian trace" and Shefir's anti-oligarchic activities.
The assassination attempt on the presidential aide could have been committed because of his state activities, in order to put pressure on the authorities or destabilize them, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The police are considering three versions of an attempt on the life of the first assistant to the president, Sergei Shefir, said on Wednesday, September 22, the head of the National Police Igor Klimenko.
"Taking into account the receipt of preliminary data, the three main versions that the National Police of Ukraine are considering are in connection with the state activities of the victim, in order to put pressure on the top leadership of the country, and in order to destabilize the political situation in our country, including the version with the participation of special services. foreign countries," he said.
At the same time, Shefir himself said that the attempt was made with the aim of intimidating the highest echelon of power in the country.
In turn, Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky clarified: "I want to emphasize that the purpose of this attack was not to scare, but to kill the first assistant to the President of Ukraine. organized crime will continue."
He also said that the wounded driver had been operated on.
"The driver has just been operated on, nothing really threatens his life. And I note that even before going to the hospital, he managed to point out to the investigators the place where the shots were fired from, which made it possible for the investigators to promptly inspect the scene of the event, which were necessary investigative actions," the minister said.

[TASS] The Kerch Shipyard in Crimea has floated out the Project 22800 latest missile corvette Askold built on order from Russia’s Defense Ministry, the Crimean State Council’s press office reported on Tuesday.
"The launch ceremony was held under the direction of Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov who also inspected the course of surface shipbuilding at the Shipyard and its production capacities," the statement sways.
The Askold will be the second Project 22800 corvette built at the Kerch Shipyard, according to the data of Russia’s Defense Ministry.
"The first warship, the Tsiklon, was put afloat at the end of last year’s summer and is currently undergoing a series of trials in Novorossiysk while the third corvette Amur is at the stage of its construction in the Shipyard’s slipway, with the work on its hull completed and the assembly of its equipment underway," the ministry said.
The press office of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet reported in August that the Tsiklon would enter service with the Fleet by the yearend.
Currently, the Russian Navy operates three Project 22800 corvettes: the Mytishchi, the Sovetsk and the Odintsovo. All of them are operating in the Russian Baltic Fleet. Overall, shipbuilders will construct 18 such warships, which will be divided equally between the Pacific, Baltic and Black Sea Fleets.
Project 22800 Karakurt-class missile corvettes are a series of Russian green-water multipurpose missile/artillery warships. The corvettes of this class developed by specialists of the St. Petersburg-based Almaz Central Design Bureau for Marine Engineering (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) are characterized by high sea worthiness and handling characteristics. They are based on the most advanced domestic technologies that allow their effective operation within fleet taskforces both in the northern and southern latitudes.
Karakurt-class corvettes displace about 800 tons, develop a speed of over 30 knots and their sea endurance is 15 days. They are armed with Kalibr-NK cruise missiles and upgraded AK-176MA 76.2mm artillery guns.
[MAIL] A whistleblower has sensationally claimed China deliberately spread Covid at a military tournament two months before the rest of the world knew about the deadly virus.
Ex-Chinese Communist Party insider Wei Jingsheng said The World Military Games in October 2019 could have acted as the virus' first superspreader event.
The international tournament for military athletes was held in Wuhan - the origin of the Covid-19 pandemic - two months before China notified the World Health Organisation about its first cases.
Mr Jingsheng claimed it was no coincidence some of the 9,000 international athletes who gathered for the event reportedly became sick with a mystery illness.

Re #1: DARPA refused to fund the work, saying: “It is clear that the proposed project led by Peter Daszak could have put local communities at risk”, and warned that the team had not properly considered the dangers of enhancing the virus, known as gain of function research or releasing a vaccine by air.
At least DARPA had some sense unlike Fauci and Dasdak.
Also: Angus Dalgleish, Professor of Oncology at St Georges, University of London, who struggled to get work published showing that the Wuhan Lab had been carrying out “gain of function” work for years before the pandemic, said the research may have occurred even without the funding.
...
A Covid-19 researcher from the World Health Organisation, who wished to remain anonymous, said it was alarming that the grant proposal included plans to enhance the more deadly disease of Middle-East Respiratory Syndrome MERS.
“The scary part is they were making infectious chimeric MERS viruses,” the source said.
“These viruses have a fatality rate over 30 per cent, which is at least an order of magnitude more deadly than Covid-19. If one of their receptor replacements made MERS spread similarly, while maintaining its lethality, this pandemic would have been nearly apocalyptic.”

Wouldn't be surprised. I got a really nasty upper respiratory infection late November 2019 that had all the same symptoms of COVID. Still to this day, almost 3 years later my lungs haven't fully recovered.

There was no reason to put that function in if it doesn't do that. Unless they just add that function to everything as a matter of policy...

Nevertheless, Turdeau did win but with a minority. Again. The Lieberals were hoping for a majority of course, therefore the minority they won may be the beginning of the end of Turdeau.

Yes, Indeed. This was hidden in the media. I saw this two days ago. Project Veritas has several videos to come. Most news outlets are blocking this disclosure. They have a lot to hide. Meanwhile India is having spectacular results.

Speaking with my RN/LPN family members.
I am being told they are NOT having Hospital Bed Shortages, but MEDICAL STAFFING shortages to handle all the beds they have.
One of them said they are working shifts of 1 nurse to 29+ Intensive Care beds at a VA they work at.
WHY?
Well they are telling me...It seems many of the LPN's and RN's that have already had the C-19. Don't want, or see a need to risk taking the VAX, given the issues they have seen or been told of by other ER LPN's and RN's.
Besides, they can easily immediately find jobs for better pay and sign-on bonuses, at locations that don't require it of those that have had the C-19 already and test good for ?anti-bodies?.
RESULTS: So hospitals with Mandatory VAX or be fired reg's, are short handed. While once again the Medical/Federal sources are clearly not being straight forward with us.

"New documents show that just 18 months before the first Covid-19 cases appeared, researchers led by Peter Daszak had submitted plans to release skin-penetrating nanoparticles containing “novel chimeric spike proteins” of bat coronaviruses into cave bats in Yunnan, China.
They also planned to create chimeric viruses, genetically enhanced to infect humans more easily, and requested $14 million from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency DARPA to fund the work.
They were hoping to introduce “human-specific cleavage sites” to bat coronaviruses which would make it easier for the virus to enter human cells."
[CitizenFreePress] The same CDC who is imploring Americans to get jabbed has added Bermuda to the ’very high risk category.’ This comes one day after officials called off the World Triathlon Championships due to a surge of infections. Nine people, including two government school teachers, were arrested on Tuesday in Reasi district in connection with an alleged attack on a police party which had arrested a criminal wanted in a rape case, police said.
The accused were all close associates of the arrested criminal and one of them was also accused in a case related to the abduction and rape of a woman in 2013, a police official said.
Prem Singh was arrested by the police party in connection with a rape case that was lodged recently against him but the party came under attack from his associates who tried to help him escape police dragnet by creating a law and order problem, the official said.
"Singh is a notorious history-sheeter involved in 10 FIRs, including murder, rape and firing on police by a weapon issued under village defence committee, besides trying to disturb communal harmony and other violations during past elections," the official said.
He said Singh was "bound down" by executive magistrate twice in the past 25 years as a preventive measure to stop him from committing a crime.
Taking a serious note of the attack on the police party, the official said all the nine accused involved, including teachers Riaz Shah and Chain Singh, were arrested.
"The nine were arrested for endangering life and personal safety of others, attacking a police party and creating law and order problems in the Chassana area," he said.
He said both the teachers were booked in separate cases related to voluntarily causing hurt and other sections of the law in 2017 and 2020, respectively.
The official identified the other arrested accused as Chanar Singh, Pawan Singh, Balbir Singh, Sukhdev, Dalip Singh, Balbir Singh and Rakesh Singh.
A case of kidnapping and rape was lodged against Chanar Singh and a chargesheet already stands filed against him in the court of law, the official said, adding that another accused, Dalip Singh, was involved in a theft case in 2015.
