[Just The News] Text messages allegedly retrieved from the laptop of Hunter Biden appear to confirm that the U.S. Secret Service and the FBI both had involvement in the now-unfolding scandal in which one of Biden's firearms was discovered in a Delaware trashcan.
News reports have claimed that the Secret Service may have inserted itself into that controversy several years ago, even after Hunter Biden's protection detail from that agency had already ended at that time.
On Friday, meanwhile, the New York Post said that text messages obtained from Biden's infamous laptop appear to confirm those claims.

[Glenn Greenwald] How can a media outlet credibly claim to denounce abuse of power by political officials when they defend and glorify their own anchor's participation in it?
Ever since the COVID pandemic subsumed most countries on the planet, there have been numerous scandals and controversies relating to those who corruptly obtain medical privileges and other exemptions unavailable to ordinary citizens. These scandals typically arise when someone uses their wealth, power or connections to jump in front of others for access to potentially life-saving procedures or medications or grant themselves and their friends license to ignore what everyone else must endure.
Right now in Brazil, for instance, there is a burgeoning scandal from reports that a group of businesspeople with ties to the government arranged to purchase their own private stash of vaccines for use for themselves, families and friends in violation of the law. In the U.S., people were outraged when very young members of Congress were among the first to receive the vaccine (though the law permitted them to do so); those young Congressmembers justified their line-jumping on the ground that they were doing so selflessly to encourage others. Meanwhile, other members of Congress refused this privilege on the ground, as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) put it, that it is "shameful" for young lawmakers to believe they "are more important" than workers. Repeatedly in the U.S., politicians were caught exempting themselves from lockdown orders they were imposing on everyone else.

Win/Win. Fox has money and I don't really care if they spend it all. I hope they don't settle out of court as I also am looking forward to the discovery stage.
I suspect Dominion has hidden the evidence in the code by now so they'll need whistleblowers or an older copy of the code to prove anything. IF anyone has an older copy of the code they'll have found the troublesome parts already which could speed things up.
[LI] Pete Buttigieg wants to charge you more to get to work and buy groceries. The former mayor-turned-U.S. Transportation Secretary renewed calls for a Vehicle Mileage Tax (VMT).
Buttigieg discussed the Biden administration’s as-yet released infrastructure plan during a maskless (albeit socially distanced) interview with CNBC. He said he believes a mileage-based tax "shows a lot of promise" for funding an infrastructure package that will cost trillions and that existing gas taxes are no longer a feasible funding solution. Buttigieg also mentioned reviving the Obama administration’s "Build America Bonds."
Not discussed during the interview was the impact of such a mileage-based tax on low and middle-class Americans who do most of the driving in the U.S. The VMT directly targets those people who live in Republican-leaning states, many in rural areas. Urban areas offer residents public transportation and much shorter commutes. However, the backbone of America’s economy is small and medium-sized businesses run by people who still have to drive from suburban and rural areas to get to work and buy groceries to support their families.

Not 100% the same, but this is how France's Yellow Vest (gilets jaunes) movement got started, by the people in rural (non-city, non-public trans) areas.
[Red State] Earlier in the week, Biden announced that Kamala Harris would "lead our efforts" with Mexico and "Northern Triangle" countries on his "not-a-crisis" border crisis, calling Harris "the most qualified person to do it" — with the first "it" being "stemming the flow of ’irregular migrants’ [LOL] to the U.S."
Biden said on Wednesday, per The Hill: (emphasis mine)
"I have asked her, the VP, today, because she is the most qualified person to do it, to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries that are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border."
A White House official later reiterated Biden’s comments — to a T.
"She’ll work first on the goal of stemming the flow of irregular migrants to the U.S. [..] but at the same time, the real goal is to establish a strategic partnership with these countries based on respect and shared values."
Again, "[t]he focus in the near term will be on stemming the flow of migrants to the U.S.," the official said, "a process that will include securing the border, providing a surge in humanitarian assistance, and creating legal pathways for migrants to come to the U.S."
Clear as a bell to you? Me, too. Just as it was clear as a bell to the New York Times’ homeland security correspondent Zolan Kanno-Youngs, among innumerable others.
"NEW — VP HARRIS is tapped to address the root causes of migration as Dems and Reps call for swift action at the border where nearly 5,000 children and teenagers are detained in border detention facilities."

[Breitbart] Oakland, California, Mayor Libby Schaaf (D) announced a program that offers poor minority families $500 a month. Poor white families are excluded for the sin of being white. However, illegal aliens qualify.
Per the Daily Mail, "An estimated 10,000 of Oakland’s 435,000 population are white residents who live in poverty," but they will receive nothing, and only because they are white.
Here is how you qualify for Oakland’s no-questions-asked $500 a month:
You must have at least one child
Your income must be at or below 50 percent of Oakland’s median income
You must not be white
The excuse for excluding whitey, per the far-left Associate Press, is that "White households in Oakland on average make about three times as much annually than black households[.]"
Yeah, but, um, 10,000 white households do not.
Okay, but they are still white. Duh.
The good news — if you’re a total lunatic — is that while poor whites are excluded based only on the fact they are white, illegal aliens do qualify for the $500 per month. Per Yahoo, the $500 is not taxable "and undocumented and/or unsheltered individuals also qualify."
Let me run that Yahoo sentence through the Orwellian translator: "illegal aliens and the homeless also qualify."
Ah, but do white illegal aliens and white homeless people qualify?
Oh, and how do you prove you qualify? Is a racist ID required?

Asinine proposal, and illegal activity, from asinine government people, in a genuine criminal state.
All people in America are afforded equal protection under the law.
This activity is not equal for anyone; procede you are in violation of the law, procede and you are at risk of criminal procecution for using public funds for an illegal activity.

[FoxNews] Republican senators on Friday released shocking pictures of migrants and children packed into border facilities as they railed against what they called a border crisis of President Biden’s own creation.
"This is inhumane, it is wrong and it is the direct consequence of policy decisions by the Biden administration to stop building the wall, to return to catch-and-release, and to end the stay-in-Mexico policy," Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said in a press conference.
The 19-person delegation, led by Sens. Cruz and John Cornyn, R-Texas, toured a facility in Donna, where migrants have been packed into facilities designed for many fewer migrants. Cruz told reporters that the facility designed for 250 migrants had nearly 4000.
Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., released images of babies he said had been handed over by child smugglers.
He also said that the Donna facility had a 10 percent COVID-positivity rate, much higher than the U.S. average.
Senators who spoke to Border Patrol and other officials said that authorities were "overwhelmed" by the numbers -- something that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has also said.

You are looking at this all wrong. Under the Trump administration you had 250 migrants (aka illegal aliens) in a cage for 250. This gives you a migrant/storage ration of 1.0.
The Biden-Harris-CCP administration has some 4000 migrants in a cage for 250, giving a migrant storage ratio ~16.0.
Clearly the Biden-CCP-Harris administration is more efficient and making better use of your tax dollars. You just need to look at it from the right angle. And maybe squint a bit.
I'm hearing it repeated as gospel truth that "nearly all" American mass shooters are white. Here are the photos of mass shooters from 2019 (defined as four or more shot in a single incident). It shows quite a diverse set of faces. #Boulder#Atlantapic.twitter.com/z4eGq8mCiW
[BIZPACREVIEW] Democrats keep insisting that the majority of mass shooters are violent mostly peaceful, white males but photo collages from 2019 and 2020 do not seem to support that assertion and in fact, show a diverse mix of faces that are guilty of going on shooting sprees.
The Post Millennial’s Editor-at-Large Andy Ngo tweeted out collages that appear to contradict the media’s claims concerning race when it comes to mass shooters. Those on Twitter were quick to ask the source of the information which at least partially comes from a wiki seemingly dedicated to recording who comprises the list of mass shooters in the U.S. Specifically in this case, 2019. But there are allegedly other statistics out there that appear to support the other side of the issue as well and the debate rages on.
When the narrative of race collapsed, commenters immediately turned to how gun control was necessary due to the number of shooters out there. But that does not address who the individuals are as a whole that conduct these rampages or any other data that should be factored in when looking at the root cause of these tragedies, including mental illness and whether the shooters are on medication.

The press wishes mass shooters were as white as an antifa criminal lineup.

Most of them do have an identifying trait - they "appear" to be men. But I don't know if they identify as men. May be gun control should be targeted to men or those who identify as men. (Sarcasm).

More mass shootings in Bidet*s first three months than during Trump's 4 years, or so some wag was tweeting earlier over at Rantingly...

Look at those faces and read Andy Ngo's accounts of their manic exploits. A safe bet that at least 50% of these AuntieFa goons have either serious mental issues or a nasty addiction (or both)
[DAILYWIRE] Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed the Republican-backed "Election Integrity Act of 2021," or SB 202, into law Thursday as Democratic politicians protested the bill. The legislation seeks to tighten up elections and reduce fraud by enforcing conformity across the state, amping up voter ID, restricting drop boxes, and expanding in-person voting, among additional election-related overhauls.
"With Senate Bill 202, Georgia will take another step toward ensuring our elections are secure, accessible and fair," Kemp said Thursday. "Ensuring the integrity of the ballot box isn’t partisan, it’s about protecting the very foundation of who we are as Georgians and Americans."
The bill’s provisions add ID requirements for absentee-by-mail ballots; when Georgians return their ballots, they will be required to use a form of identification to verify who they are. As noted by NPR, this change "replaces the controversial method that has election workers match signatures on applications and ballot envelopes with those on file."
SB 202 also expands in-person voting access, NPR noted: "Current Georgia law requires three weeks of Monday through Friday voting during ’normal business hours’ and a mandatory Saturday session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, with counties allowed to add more hours — including on the weekends — as they saw fit."

[TRENDINGPOLITICS] During the Trump administration, drama queen and former bartender Alexandria Boom Boom Ocasio-Cortez Dem Congressgirl from da Bronx in Noo Yawk and leader of the Mean Girl Caucus in Congress. One of the Great Minds of the 21st Century, she is known as much for her innaleck as for her dance moves. She is all in favor of socialism, even though she's fuzzy on the details. She was the inventor of the Green New Deal, though she doesn't talk about it much anymore... took a trip to a migrant detention facility in Texas wearing.
Wearing all white, she was photographed during a widely publicized border visit in 2018 displaying various emotions — tears, anguish, frustration, concern, fear — as she peered into a holding area surrounded by a chain-link fence.
But it turned out to be nothing more than political theater: She was busted by other photographers whose wider-angled shots showed clearly that AOC, as she is known, was not lamenting over migrant children as advertised because there was no one on the other side.
In fact, it was an empty roadway.
Now, there is a new crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border, one of Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. The very model of probity.... ’s making. And yet, AOC hasn’t found the time yet to and mourn the thousands of newly-detained migrant children, most of whom are sleeping on floors wrapped by tinfoil-like blankets, if the photos published by Project Veritas are accurate.
Sen. Lindsey Graham ...soft-spoken senator from South Carolina, former best buddy of John Maverick McCain. Since McCain's demise, Graham has become more outspoken, more Republican and more of a supporter of President Trump. The speech he gave in support of Brett Kavanaugh was downright manly and really cheesed off the Dems... (R-S.C.) called out the Bronx Democratic socialist for her hypocrisy.
"Where is AOC?" the senator asked on Wednesday during a presser.
"Most Republicans want to make sure that we deal fairly with those who’ve been here a long time but we address the underlying problems of legal immigration," Graham continued. "That’s not an unreasonable request."
"There used to be Democrats that understood to get legalization on the table, you had to address the underlying causes of illegal immigration," he continued. "Those voices have been silenced. The open borders crowd is now firmly in control of immigration."
"Where is AOC?" Graham asked. "Why aren’t you at the border looking at the things being reported. If you were worried about children under Trump being in bad conditions, this is worse. If you’re worried about people having COVID outbreaks, this is the biggest COVID spreader in the entire country. So where are you?"
Fox News has identified only two relatively mild tweets from the New York Democrat commenting on the matter during the Biden administration, however.
"This is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay — no matter the administration or party," Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Feb. 23 in response to a Washington Post story titled, "First migrant facility for children opens under Biden."

[FoxNews via Lucianne] President Biden has picked the wife of an extremely influential U.S. senator for a federal commission post, the White House announced Friday.
Biden nominated Gayle Conelly Manchin to co-chair the Appalachian Regional Commission, an economic development partnership with 13 states designed to boost investment in the Appalachian Region. I mentioned yesterday that Manchin was being contrary about the filibuster and gun confiscation just to boost his price. Who knew this all it took.
Manchin is an educator, past president of West Virginia's State Board of Education and the former first lady of West Virginia.
The Appalachian Regional Commission includes the governors of each of the 13 Appalachian states and the Federal Co-Chairperson who is appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate. It operates with about a $165 million budget.
