[Conservative Daily Post] Following the release of the bombshell FISA abuse memo, House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes is gearing up to revive his declaration to hold the FBI in contempt of Congress.
On Friday, the GOP memo was released detailing how former President Barack Obama’s administration abused their power to trigger the phony Russia investigation into President Donald Trump.
The memo details how a slew of top Obama bureaucrats used the discredited dossier, which was compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele for the left-wing firm Fusion GPS, to secure a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to launch a surveillance campaign against Trump and his former campaign members.
The dossier was not only given nearly $10 million from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee, it was the main document used to secure the spy warrant that launched the Russia probe.
Prior to releasing the memo, Congress sought for almost a year to gain access these documents from the FBI and Justice Department, but they stonewalled and delayed because they knew it would expose major areas of concern with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
In Dec. 2017, Nunes had sent numerous subpoenas to the FBI requesting all information pertaining to why then top intelligence analyst Peter Strzok had been fired from Mueller’s investigation last summer.
Strzok, who remains employed at the FBI, fired by Mueller after an internal probe revealed he had been sending thousands of anti-Trump text messages to Lisa Page, a top lawyer at the FBI with whom he was having an affair.
Text messages between Strzok and Page, which were finally turned over to Congress last month, revealed the two rogue FBI agents discussed disturbing things ranging from an "insurance policy" to use against Trump, a "secret society" that met the day after Trump won the 2016 presidential election, to "removing classified information" from government cell phones.
[National Review] The House Intelligence Committee memo is pretty simple. It should not have been classified and thus far withheld from the public.
In fact, far more information now needs to be released. Despite the outcry, as Chairman Devin Nunes clarified, the memo can easily be in the near future supported or refuted by adducing official documents.
In other words, the memo makes a series of transparent statements and leaves it up to the criminal-justice system and the public to ascertain subsequent criminal liability. It is likely that the basic accuracy of the document will not be questioned, but rather opponents, some of them mentioned in the memo, will either ask why the resulting embarrassing information needed to be aired or insist that there are only minor possible crimes in the events it narrates, or both. Remember, officials from the FBI supposedly read the memo before its release to ensure that there were not factual errors or misrepresentations.
In sum, on four occasions during and after the 2016 campaign, the FBI and DOJ approached a federal FISA court ‐ established to allow monitoring of foreign nationals engaged in efforts to harm the U.S. or American citizens deliberately or inadvertently in their service ‐ to surveil Carter Page, a sometime Trump adviser. These requests also mentioned George Papadopoulos, apparently as a preexisting target of an earlier investigation by FBI official Peter Strzok, but according to the memo mysteriously there was not adduced any direct connection between the two individuals’ activities.
The basis of the requests was an anti-Trump dossier that the FBI and DOJ had purchased from a private concern. At the time of their various requests, FBI director James Comey and his deputy, Andrew McCabe, apparently knew that the document was the work of an opposition-research team, hired and paid, through a series of intermediaries, by the Clinton campaign.
The same knowledge supposedly was known to DOJ officials Sally Yates, Dana Boente, and Rod Rosenstein, who variously joined the FISA requests. The FBI and DOJ requests to the court were also apparently bolstered by citing news accounts in the popular media about possible Russian collusion, which in circular fashion had been the result of efforts by the authors and purveyors of the dossier to leak its contents to the media.
Sara Carter, an investigative reporter with Circa and Sara A Carter.com, was first to break the news of FISA abuses last year. She has stated that her sources have told her that the Horowitz DOJ IG Report has very damaging findings on how the FBI ( McCabe) especially, mishandled the Clinton Email Investigation and that Director Wray's primary reason for firing McCabe was Director Wray being briefed on the initial findings of that IG Report. Sara Carter is a frequent guest, almost nightly, on both Hannity and Lou Dobbs. The real hammer on the head of the DOJ and FBI will be when the Inspector Genera'ls Report is released later this month or early March. As I stated earlier, AG Sessions referred these latest allegations to the DOG IG for investigation. Remember, the IG is only a fact finding investigative body. It can only refer the findings to the US Attorney's Office for prosecutorial review as was done in the Hillary Email matter. The Dems won't be able to " spin" that one if the findings are serious as have been reported by Sara Carter and others.
[FOX] The information contained in the memo released by House Republicans on Friday that accused FBI and Justice Department officials of improperly obtaining permission to surveil a former Trump campaign adviser shows a tragic failure of leadership on the part of former FBI Director James Comey.
But importantly, the memo does not in any way reflect on the outstanding work of the more than 35,000 dedicated men and women of the FBI.
It pains me ‐ as a former FBI executive who loves and respects the organization ‐ to say that Comey’s short tenure at the FBI has proven to be the worst thing to happen to the agency since Director L. Patrick Gray was fired during the Watergate scandal.
If the facts stated in the memo are true ‐ despite the highly political nature of congressional committees ‐ then there was either incompetent or deliberate manipulation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Court to get approval of the surveillance.
Even new agent trainees at the FBI Academy know better than to use paid opposition research and newspaper articles to support use of one of the most sensitive and intrusive surveillance techniques in the investigative toolbox. If they do use such information, the FISA judge should have been apprised of the origins of the research.
FBI agents are also taught to never mislead any court of law. It’s unlikely the surveillance warrant would have been issued if the FISA judge was aware that political opponents (the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee) had financed the information used to obtain approval of the surveillance.
FISA applications go through extensive reviews at multiple levels of executive management at the FBI and Justice Department. They are signed by the most senior FBI and Justice Department executives before they are presented to the FISA court for approval.
I fail to see the utility of including scantily clad wimmin and just another pretty face. The pretty face is just that, plus a blank screen to boot. The scantily clad wimmin are another matter. Watching them when an ejected casing get caught in their bikini; Now that's entertainment!

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] As signs of the Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ... rebels’ defeat in the Yemeni capital Sanaa emerged, battle erupted in the temporary capital Sanaa.
Igniting battles in the South is no coincidence as it reflects the worries of those who are gambling on the war to persist in the North. They believe that the legitimate forces will not win since this would guarantee their establishment of a state in South Yemen.
The prospects of rebels, i.e. the Houthis’, defeat have increased in the North ever since their former ally former President-for-Life Ali Abdullah Saleh ... Saleh initially took power as a strongman of North Yemen in 1977, when disco was in flower, but he didn't invite Donna Summer to the inauguration and Blondie couldn't make it... ended his alliance with them. The Houthis’ situation worsened after they killed Saleh as most of the latter’s supporters turned against them.
Hostile regional parties like Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... sought to fuel the situation by worsening the southern separatist militias’ propaganda that incites against the government. This political activity is nothing new but it now harmonizes with the Houthis’ interests and seeks to create a front that compensates the Houthis for losing Saleh’s camp by besieging the government in Aden.
Government forces which thought they will restore Sanaa realized they can lose Aden. It’s a bad political and military development that proves old fears that southern parties which tend to favor separation are infiltrated by the same powers ‐ specifically Iran and Qatar ‐ that want to prolong the duration of war in Yemen.
This contradicts with what Qatar has been marketing as it claimed there are disputes among the members of the coalition in support of the legitimate government. Doha has been playing the same old tune as it thinks if it convinces people, it will be able to neutralize the anti-terror quartet that’s boycotted it.
Favoring separation
This analysis does not mean there is no desire to separate into North and South and that there are no movements in favor of this separation; however, it shows the relation between the events in which more than 20 people were killed - or who were rather killed during unjustified confrontations.
Those calling for separation call for using military power based on complaints from the current situation due to the brutal war. What’s certain is that the armed attack on the premiership headquarters has gone beyond the limits of a political dispute.
The gang behind the attack, and which raises slogans that appeal to the sentiment of Yemenis in the South, is now like the Houthis in terms of committing the same crime of taking up arms against the state.
What about their desire to separate Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... into two independent states? This is up to the Yemeni people. If they agree on separation in the future, then so be it, and if they don’t, the party in favor of separation can go ahead and take its demand to specialized international organizations under the excuse that "Yemen consisted of two independent states and its time to separate again after unity failed."
The UN may agree to this demand via the international court or another institution, and the dispute would thus end in a civilized, legal and safe way. It may also reject it and the controversy would come to an end. The Kurds in Iraq tried their luck and they had a long history that supported this right.
Laws that govern However, a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth... countries are not managed according to the desires of politicians and parties calling for separation but according to laws that govern peoples’ relations.
There is a wide segment of people in the South who believe that unification impoverished them and led to oppression and injustice. What’s certain is that late President Saleh’s governance destroyed all of Yemen and is in fact greatly responsible for the failure of the state.
The current war was launched to eliminate pockets of rebellion and end attempts to illegitimately seize power. It seeks to restore the state’s entity according to the UN’s project for a democratic Yemen as supported by the Gulf initiative - to establish an interim government then draft a constitution under international supervision, hold parliamentary elections then presidential elections and form a government.
Only the Yemenis choose their leaders under international supervision. Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... , the UAE, Iran or Qatar do not decide on their behalf. The Iranians, however, are using the Houthis to keep what they gained during the coup and to prevent the implementation of the aforementioned international plan.
Those calling for separation in the South can wait and then legally and properly request separation instead of destroying the country with their own hands and of being dragged behind countries that scheme chaotic plans to target the coalition’s countries at the expense of the Yemeni people’s lives, security and stability.

[Breitbart] The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is hailing the increase in oil and gas lease sales in 2017, making it the most lucrative year in almost a decade.
State offices for the agency generated $360 million in lease sales, an increase of 86 percent over the previous year.
"Oil and gas lease sales on public land directly support domestic energy production and the president’s energy dominance and job growth priorities for America," David Bernhardt, deputy secretary of Interior, said in the press release announcing the data. "[Last year] was a big year for oil and gas leasing on federal lands, and these sales provide critical revenue and job growth in rural America."
Bernhardt also said the sales reflect President Donald Trump’s deregulation agenda "to identify and modify unnecessary regulations that impede responsible energy development."

I pretty much lost my business due to the "perfect storm" combination of the shutdown in 2009/2010 and the price dip from the so-called Iran deal where Iran got a hundred billion dollars of their money back and oil prices were mysteriously low for two years (but we're not supposed to think about that. Or about that some of that money went to paying for the Russian offensive in Syria). The oilfield seems to be coming back in other places, but not in Louisiana. And even if prices are up, investment is probably going to be lacking, because noone wants to be the Saudis' or Iran's or Obama's next Example.

Why? So I can join the growing chorus of people who believe that the relentless attacks on the bureau undermine not just America's premier law enforcement agency but also the nation's security. My resignation is painful, but the alternative of remaining quiet while the bureau is tarnished for political gain is impossible. 10 Years? You've barely begun the political corruption ladder. At 10 years you don't even understand the politics dictating priorities and outcomes
A small number of my current and retired colleagues have said that we should simply keep our heads down until the storm passes. I say this with the greatest respect: They are wrong. If those who know the agency best remain silent, it will be defined by those with partisan agendas. Like FBI Management
F.B.I. agents are dogged people who do not care about the direction of political winds. But to succeed in their work, they need public backing. Scorched-earth attacks from politicians with partisan goals now threaten that support, raising corrosive doubts about the integrity of the F.B.I. that could last for generations.
I imagine all of this is degrading and depressing for the ranks who have principles and dreams. Their anger and disappointment should be leveled at their political Management

In my mind, the worst part of the Obama years wasn't the steady stream of Obama-nonsense, but the fact that American institutions once regarded as impartial, institutions like the IRS, the FBI and the DoJ, were subverted for political ends and have lost the trust of half the population. Hell of a way to run a country.

I high school classmate of mine is a long retired FBI Special Agent. He is sickened by what has happened to the Bureau. It is not the fact that all these revelations are coming out and damaging the reputation. It is that these things HAPPENED and damaged the reputation.

[Hot Air] Something fun to cleanse the palate at the end of a long Memo Day and even longer Memo Week. This comes from Tea Party Patriots Action, an offshoot of a group founded two months after Obama was inaugurated in 2009 and dedicated at the time, as all tea party groups were, to smaller government, lower taxes, and individual liberty. Nine years later they’re running interference on a criminal investigation for the guy who’s in charge of the government ‐ and who’s never showed much interest in two of their three core goals ‐ by attacking the Justice Department for him. That trajectory, from then to now, is practically a right-wing version of "Animal Farm." In its departure from its core values, it reminds me of those NRA ads ranting about Antifa, the media, protesters, and assorted obnoxious left-wingers, with gun rights merely a minor theme. You can understand why the NRA would do that since, with Republicans in charge of government, there’s no threat from the feds at the moment to the group’s mission. Gun rights are safe for now so they’ve got to find something to keep NRA members active and donating. The Tea Party Patriots’ mission, though, has barely lost any salience since 2009. Trump has cut some regulations, sure, but federal spending, ballooning debt, and metastasizing entitlements are as much a concern as ever.

Their next ad should target Peter Strzok, whose latest batch of texts with Lisa Page has been reviewed by the Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal with no evidence of any conspiracy discovered. Strzok clearly doesn’t like Trump ("OMG I am so depressed," he texted Lisa Page after Trump’s victory) but he dislikes the Russians much more. Actual quote about our friends in Moscow: "F*cking conniving cheating savages. At statecraft, athletics, you name it." I’m going to get that crocheted on a pillow. When he’s right, he’s right.

What's happening?
You know that Russia investigation that's been going on in Washington? Well, this is some of the stuff that they found when they went to go do that investigation. It's so shocking that Congress itself has spent months making an exception to the secrecy in order to let you in on what they found.
What did they find?
There is a large segment of the bureaucracy that hates our President and has weaponized the FBI and Department of Justice against him. They've worked there for longer than the President, and most of these people know each other. And they know how to press the right buttons and turn the right knobs to work the machine against their boss.
What do you mean, what did they find?
There's this guy Chris Steele, he's British, and he looooves Hillary Clinton. And he hates Trump. He's a friend of the FBI, he's a source for them and they pay him.
The Clinton campaign and the official Democrat party also pay him. They pay him to put together a mean story about Trump. That was the Pee Dossier.
Chris Steele passes that story to his friends in the FBI. His friends in the FBI know that it's fake. But it doesn't matter, they want to spy on Trump. So they make a Spy Application to the Secret Spy Court, "Can we spy on the Trump campaign?" The court says, "why would you spy on them?" The FBI needs an excuse to spy, so they use the Pee Dossier that Chris Steele passed them.
Just in case the court doesn't buy it, they include a Yahoo! News article where Chris Steele was the source who said the Pee Dossier was totally real.
FBI knew it was fake. They didn't tell the court. They knew Chris Steele hates Trump. They didn't tell the court. They knew Chris Steele was paid by Clinton campaign to make that story. They didn't tell the court.
The court grants the request, and lets the FBI spy on the Trump campaign.
This isn't run of the mill stuff. That Spy Application has to be signed by the big fish. Your boss' boss' boss reads and signs this application, saying that it's true on their honor. What's the word for lying to the government?
They're all in this together. They all meet and talk and have the same opinions. That's why the memo also tells us that FBI Director McCabe and FBI Agent Strzok and FBI lawyer Page (Strzok's mistress) all met to talk about an "insurance policy" against Trump winning the election.
What happens to this Steele guy?
He's been referred for criminal prosecution. You can't do what he did. And he knew that. It was just a matter of not being caught long enough to take Trump out of office. Then FBI friends could get him out of trouble.
In fact, the FBI stopped being friends with him when they found out he broke the rules on talking to reporters and was a bad source.
But even after they fired him for being a bad source, they kept signing the Spy Application based on his stuff. A Spy Application has to be redone every 90 days. FBI friends signed it total FOUR times. FBI friends admitted under oath to Congress that they knew it was fake.
What did they find when they spied on Trump?
Nothing. Which is not what they wanted to find, so they kept using the original Spy Application to make more and more investigations, which is why we have a million investigations now. They all came from this.

[Victory Girls] A successful hashtag campaign has emerged: #ReleaseTheMemo! It actually worked! Congressman Devin Nunes, (R-CA) chair of the House Intelligence Committee, released a short Memo detailing information used to obtain a FISA warrant to surveil Carter Page, former advisor to the Trump campaign.
The Memo doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know, but it puts the abuses of the FISA process in black and white. The FBI and DOJ had knowledge of the sources the warrant application was based on, but did not fully disclose that information to the court. That’s called an omission of material fact. It is unethical, and depending on the warrant application requirements, possibly illegal.
But the Democrats have settled on a criticism of their own. They say Nunes himself has omitted important contextual information from the Memo, information that would explain why the FBI relied on the Steele dossier as a basis for the warrant when even Comey himself called it "salacious and unverified." They say that they are trying to release their own memo that will surely clear all this up. I’ll be very happy to take a look.

Let's move ahead in time. Today we see the depravity and anti-Americanism that is prevalent in today's Democratic Party is literally putting our constitutional republic at risk. Do you think that's an exaggeration? Let's take a look.
On social issues, the Democrats are the leading force of moral decay in America. They are the champion of such perverse things as unrestricted abortion, homosexual marriage, transgenderism, racial strife, and a God-hating form of radical secularism. They corrupt every institution in the U.S. with these 'novel' concepts from our schools to the military and everything in between. The one thing these initiatives all have in common is that they rot out the foundation of the Republic and undermine the family.
When it comes to economic matters, Democratic policies suffocate growth through regulations, high taxes, and crony capitalism. In the party's view, personal self-sufficiency, independence, and holding a traditional family together are sins, while dependency on government is a virtue. Judging by their behavior, the only growth the Democrats applaud and work towards is growth in government, growth in the welfare rolls, and growth in the influx of Third-World immigrants into the country.
Immigration deserves a special comment. As is often correctly said, demographics is destiny. Look at the quantity and quality of the type of immigration that the Democrats push for. To the Democrats whose creed is 'diversity is strength,' America will be worthy only when its composition mirrors that of the United Nations. If such a suicidal attitude prevails, then the United States as we know it is gone. Do the Democrats care? If they do, it is only that the transformation isn't happening fast enough

(i) Make sure that a degree in bullshit studies liberal arts etc... is not a guarantee of gainful employment in public sector - lets see what all these graduates in political science will think of illegal immigration when they have to compete with illegals for menial jobs.

When you suck as bad as Timberlake, you need to pull out all the stops to ruin a sporting event as best you can. The really ironic part of this? When he was alive, it was reported that Prince cannot stand Timberlake, most likely because the latter is a no-talent hack.
This is going to be by far and away the absolute worst, shit on the bottom of your shoes halftime show in history. It's gonna suck big, hairy donkey balls in the worst way possible. If I wasn't doing my normal halftime duties (dishwashing at a friend's house), I'd be throwing knives & dishes at the TV set. I can't wait to watch this asshole's career evaporate on that stage tomorrow.
