Bar patrons are raising a glass to a local Idaho saloon after its viral social media post promised "free beer" to anyone who helps Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) track down and deport an illegal immigrant.
The Old State Saloon alerted its followers Saturday, writing on X that "anyone who helps ICE identify and ultimately deport an illegal from Idaho gets FREE BEER FOR ONE MONTH" at its establishment.
The watering hole, located in Eagle, Idaho, added that it "may award multiple months to one person if multiple illegals are deported."
Anyone trying to claim their free beer is asked to send evidence, including photos and videos, to deportations@oldstatesaloon.com.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reposted the saloon’s promotion with a GIF highlighting their amazement with the offer. The bar enthusiastically replied, "Let’s go! Deport them all!"
One user responded to the announcement, asking if the saloon could create a leaderboard and champion a "Deporter of the Year" at the end of the year who wins even more free beer.
At least one person has already been approved by the saloon. The establishment posted that Ryan Spoon, vice chair of the Ada County Republican Central Committee in Idaho, would receive free beer from any of its 20 draft options after he provided evidence that he helped ICE make an arrest.
Conservative Gen Z influencer Bo Loudon also responded to the saloon’s announcement, calling it an "incredible idea" on X.
"This is why I love the United States," he added.
While many people supported the saloon’s initiative, others called for the bar to be canceled or boycotted. The saloon even posted negative Google reviews, asserting that "1 star reviews roll in from the loser LEFT."

The foreign minister spoke out after a copy of the city council report dated Monday circulated online showing that the city’s naming committee had agreed that Herzog’s name should be removed from the park, and referred the decision to the council for a vote.
Herzog, who died in 1997, was born in Belfast in Northern Ireland and grew up in Dublin before serving as Israeli president between 1983 and 1993. His father was the first chief rabbi of Ireland after it gained independence from Britannia in 1922.
The office of President Isaac Herzog said Saturday that the proposal, due to be approved next week, would be "shameful and disgraceful" if it is carried out. The statement from Herzog’s office implied that the council was aiming to rename the park "Free Paleostine."
Irish Chief Rabbi Yoni Wieder said Saturday that removing the name from the park "would be to erase a central piece of Irish-Jewish history, and send a painful message of isolation to our small community."
The rabbi added that "Herzog Park is more than a name on a sign. It’s a place filled with memory, and an important reminder that our community has deep roots in Dublin."
When the park was named in 1995, Wieder added, "it was a recognition not just of one man, but a chapter of shared history. That history has not changed, and it cannot be undone by motions or votes."
Maurice Cohen, who leads the Jewish Representative Council of Ireland (JRCI), said the proposal was "already perceived by our community as a gross act of antisemitism."
The south Dublin park, which houses a tennis club and 10 tennis courts, was named in Herzog’s honor in a 1995 ceremony marking the tri-millennium of Jerusalem, according to the Dublin City Council website. It was previously called Orwell Quarry Park, according to the website.
At least one online petition, created in April 2024 by the Irish Sport for Paleostine organization, community soccer team 1915 FC and Irish nationalist group 1916 Societies, called for the park to be renamed after Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Paleostinian girl who was reportedly killed by Israel in Gaza City in January 2024 along with five of her family members and two medics who had gone to save them. Addressing the annual presser in Jammu, BSF deputy inspector general (DIG) Vikram Kunwar said the force had destroyed many terror launchpads across the border during Operation Sindoor — the four-day military confrontation with Pakistain from May 7-10.
"After the BSF destroyed many terror launchpads along the border during Operation Sindoor, Pakistain government had decided to shift all such facilities to the depth areas. But old habits die hard," the DIG said.
He added that 72 terror launchpads are currently operational across the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC).
"As of today, about 12 launchpads are working from the depth areas of Sialkot and Zaffarwal, which are not exactly on the border. Whereas 60 launchpads are working in the depth areas across the LoC," he added.
The DIG further said that the figures of these launchpads, as well as the bandidosbandidos murderous Moslems present in them, keep changing. "They do not sit there permanently. These launchpads are generally active when bandidosbandidos murderous Moslems have to be pushed (into India) ... They are not kept in more than two or three groups," Kunwar said while informing that there are no training camps in the areas close to the IB at present.

When asked about the force’s preparedness in case of Operation Sindoor 2.0, Inspector General of BSF, Jammu frontier, Shashank Anand, said the force is ready to follow the orders of the government if it decides to resume the cross-border operation.
"If we talk about 1965, 1971, the 1999 Kargil ... three months of unprovoked Pak aggression, over 4000 dead Paks, another victory for India ... War, or Operation Sindoor, the BSF has a good experience of all kinds of wars, be it conventional or hybrid warfare. We are ready. If we get a chance, we are capable of causing more damage than what we did in May. Whatever policy the government decides, the BSF will play its role in it," he added.
The IG further said that Pak Rangers, who had abandoned their posts during Operation Sindoor, have returned to them. "When the situation becomes normal, its mandatory to return to the posts. It took them a lot of time to recover from the damages inflicted by the BSF. In some locations, they have tried to strengthen their defence. But all of their activities are under our surveillance," Anand added.
The IG said that the BSF was abreast with activities across the IB. "We are committed to zero infiltration policy of the government and are ready to thwart any challenge at the IB," Anand added.
The annual presser, which came two days before the BSF Raising Day on December 1, highlighted the achievements of the force in 2025, including its role in Operation Sindoor, the country’s military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.

Born and raised in the narrow lanes of Hata Mustafa Khan in Khandari Bazar, Lucknow, Dr. Shaheen Shahid was the daughter of Shahid Ansari, a retired staffer from the state health department.
They said the National Investigation Agency (NIA) brought Shahid, a former pharmacologist at al-Falah University, to the university campus on Thursday in connection with the probe, and that during questioning, she revealed she had planned to recruit women for the mission.
Police sources also revealed that the NIA sleuths recovered ₹18.5 lakh in cash, along with some gold biscuits and foreign currency, from Shahid's hostel room at the university.
Earlier in the week, the agency brought Dr Muzammil for identification, and soon, the NIA could bring Dr Adil Ahmad for spot identification to the university. Muzammil and Adil Ahmad are two other suspects arrested as part of the probe.

During Shahid's on-site questioning at the campus, the NIA team took her to the medical ward, classroom, and her cabin to gather details of her activities and contacts there.
A senior police officer said on Saturday that the agency has prepared a list of the people with whom she interacted.
The NIA team also took her to a chemical shop from where, according to sources, Dr Muzammil allegedly purchased materials to prepare explosives.
After about four hours of investigation, questioning and identification of several locations, she was taken back to Delhi at about 9:00 pm.
The ongoing investigation has revealed that Shahid was active in terrorist activities while staying at al-Falah University and was creating a network by connecting people here, the senior police officer said.
[HindustanTimes] The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday brought Dr Shaheen Shahid – one of the key accused in the terror module behind the November 10 blast in Delhi – to Faridabad for the identification of suspected hideouts and locations linked to the conspiracy.
Officials aware of the matter said that the NIA team spent nearly three hours in the district, taking her to Al-Falah University, a house in Khori Jamalpur village, a farm in Fatehpur Taga, and a chemical shop in NIT Faridabad.
The people cited above said that Shaheen was taken to the chemical store where materials used in bomb-making were allegedly purchased. The visit was also aimed at verifying her movements and her links with co-accused Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganaie and suicide bomber Dr Umar un-Nabi.
The probe, the said, has so far revealed that Muzammil operated from multiple hideouts near the Al-Falah campus. In addition to two accommodations earlier traced in Dhauj and Fatehpur Taga, investigators have now identified a third location – a three-bedroom house he rented in Khori Jamalpur village between April and July 2025 for ₹8,000 a month.
The house belonged to a former village sarpanch, who confirmed renting it to Muzammil. “He visited several times with a woman doctor. He said he wanted space to trade in Kashmiri fruits,” the former village head said, adding that Muzammil left after three months, with 15 days’ rent unpaid. “I never suspected he was a terrorist. I gave the house in good faith.” Investigators say the “woman doctor” accompanying him was Shaheen.
Officers have also found that Muzammil stored bags of ammonium nitrate and other explosive materials for nearly 12 days in a room on a farmer’s land in Fatehpur Taga. The farmer, fearing theft, later asked Umar to remove them. Officials said the materials were then shifted to the house of cleric Ishtiaq in the same village.
Separately, a WhatsApp chat between Dr Adeel Ahmad Rather – another accused in the network – and a hospital official has surfaced. In the messages, Adeel repeatedly asks for his pending salary, saying he “urgently needs it” and sharing bank details. Investigators believe the accused doctors may have used their salaries to purchase explosives and equipment, suggesting deliberate financial preparation for the attack.
On Thursday, NIA officials also questioned the former village sarpanch for several hours. He said he had met Muzammil and Umar only during his nephew’s treatment at Al-Falah Hospital, where their relationship developed. “He vacated the house five months ago. I never saw anything suspicious,” he said.

A drone hit a storage tank at Khor Mor late Wednesday night, sparking a fire that burned for hours and triggering power outages across the Kurdistan Region. No group has grabbed credit. Kurdish officials described it as a terrorist attack.
Talaat said the strike originated from a zone between Amerli and Sulayman Beg, southwest of the gas field, an area he described as fully controlled by the PMF and the Iraqi Army.
Khor Mor, located in the Chamchamal district of Sulaimani province, is operated by Pearl Petroleum, a consortium led by Dana Gas and Crescent Petroleum. Amerli is located roughly 50 kilometers to the southwest and Sulayman Beg is about 42 kilometers in the same direction.
"The place is controlled from every aspect from the Iraqi side. It is not in a security vacuum," Talaat said.
He added the projectile used was a short-range weapon and the target location had been selected in advance, explaining that it would not be easy for actors outside the area’s security structure to carry out an attack without detection.

Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari, Iraqi National Intelligence Service chief Hamid al-Shatri, and Kurdistan Region Interior Minister Rebar Ahmed visited Khor Mor on Friday to assess the damage. The results of their investigation are expected within 72 hours, spokesperson for the commander-in-chief of the armed forces Sabah al-Numan told Rudaw on Friday.
Khor Mor has been repeatedly targeted in recent years in attacks Kurdish authorities blame on Iran-backed Iraqi militias that operate outside Baghdad’s control.
Talaat said that despite the previous attacks, "no procedures have been taken until this moment with anyone."
"Most times, those groups are above the existing authority that does not have the ability to take procedures against people," he said.

"I stayed in Syria for three years and then we went to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... . I have been in Turkey for nine years," said Soad Khalaf. "About 10 days ago, I spoke with my family and thank God they helped me out and I was rescued."
In its assault on Shingal in 2014, ISIS faceless myrmidons kidnapped 6,417 Yazidi women and kiddies, many of whom were subjected to sexual slavery and forced labor. Over 3,500 of them have been rescued so far, with approximately 2,500 yet to be located.
Khalaf said that she and her child were relocated several times in Syria before they were taken to Turkey where she was kept for nine years, never allowed to leave the house. Her daughter does not speak any Kurdish because their captors forced them to speak Arabic only.
They were warmly welcomed home by their family.
"I cannot describe how I feel. I’m very happy and it feels like a dream," said Abdullah Shrem, Khalaf’s husband.
Khalaf’s mother was filled with joy at being reunited with her daughter and granddaughter, but it was tempered by the fact that other members of their family are still missing.
"I still have another daughter missing, and four of her cousins are still missing. Her aunt is still missing. We still have five missing women out there," she said.
Many Yazidi women and kiddies have been rescued from al-Hol, the notorious camp in northeast Syria (Rojava) that houses tens of thousands of ISIS families and supporters. Others have been found in areas of Syria that were controlled by rebels or Ottoman Turkish-backed gangs, and some have been located in third countries.
Hadn’t the IDF warned the populace to pull back to the safe zones, exactly so they would not be caught when buildings collapsed? So these deaths also can be laid to Hamas’s account.
[IsraelTimes] The Hamas-run health ministry in the Gaza Strip announces that the number of people killed in the past two years of war with Israel inside the enclave has passed the 70,000 mark.
A total of 301 people have been added to the toll since Thursday, taking it to 70,100, the ministry says. Two died in recent Israeli strikes, the rest were identified from remains buried for some time in the rubble, according to the statement.
The figure does not differentiate between combatants and civilians, and cannot be independently verified.
The reported death toll has continued climbing despite the fragile ceasefire that took hold on October 10, as authorities have been able to take advantage of the relative calm to search for bodies in the wreckage.
In the first months of the war, officials counted bodies that arrived in hospitals and registered names and identity numbers to keep track of the death toll.
In the later stages, Gaza’s Hamas-run health authorities said they held off on including thousands of reported deaths in the official tally until forensic, medical, and legal checks can be made.

As you enter Iran’s capital, it starts with only occasional glimpses — a passenger in a car speeding by or a pedestrian trying to leapfrog through Tehran’s notorious traffic.
But as you reach the cooler heights of Tehran’s northern neighborhoods along the city’s sycamore-lined Vali-e Asr Street, they are almost everywhere, women with their brown, black, blonde and gray locks.
More and more, Iranian women choose to forgo the country’s mandatory headscarf, or hijab.
It was something unthinkable just a few years ago in the Islamic Theocratic Republic, whose conservative Shiite holy mans and hardline politicians long pushed for strict enforcement of laws requiring women to cover their hair.
But the 2022 death of Mahsa Amini and the nationwide protests that followed enraged women of all ages and views in a way few other issues have since the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.

FIRST TRIP TO IRAN IN YEARS
I received a three-day visa from the government to attend a summit addressed by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi as tensions remain high over Tehran’s nuclear program.
Access to reporting beyond the summit was limited, but the trip gave me my first look on the ground in Iran since my last visits in 2018 and 2019.
In those intervening years, I had watched from abroad in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in my role overseeing the News Agency that Dare Not be Named’s coverage of Iran and the Gulf Arab states as Iran was roiled by protests over the economy and Amini’s death, the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic and a 12-day war with Israel in June.
For the past 46 years, Iran’s rulers have imposed the hijab rule. At the strictest times, the police and the Basij, the all-volunteer force of the paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, kept a close eye on women in the streets to ensure compliance.
Whenever the atmosphere felt laxer, many women pushed their scarves further and further back on their heads — small challenges to the government as to how much hair you could get away with showing. But they rarely dared to remove it.
MORE WOMEN CHOOSING TO GO WITHOUT THE HIJAB
Working remotely with my AP colleagues in Iran, I knew from their reporting, photographs and video footage from the streets on even unrelated assignments that women had begun to drop the hijab completely.
But I didn’t fully understand the scale of that refusal until I saw it myself.
Around Tajrish Square, at the foot of Tehran’s Alborz Mountains, one group of maiden of tender yearss who are required to wear the hijab to school immediately removed them after leaving in the afternoon. They darted between cars, idling through traffic, laughing and carrying art projects.
Women of all ages went uncovered at the Tajrish Bazaar and walking past the blue-tile domes of the Imamzadeh Saleh shrine.
Two coppers on the street talked among themselves as the women passed by unremarked.
At the luxury Espinas Palace Hotel, multiple women with their hair uncovered walked past the signs reading, "Please observe the Islamic hijab," with the black-and-white outline of a woman in hijab.
A foreign diplomat’s wife attended a dinner for the summit without one. An Iranian woman in attendance briefly put one over her head while in discussion with a hotel staff member, then let it fall fully to her shoulders a moment later.
Those sights were in northern Tehran, an affluent area that is generally more liberal.
But even in a more conservative southern district, an uncovered woman walked quickly down the street among others in the all-encompassing black chador.
"All of my life I had to wear hijab, at school, at university, everywhere in public," one Iranian woman who recently emigrated to Canada told me after I returned to Dubai, speaking on condition of anonymity
... for fear of being murdered... for fear of reprisal. "I always tried to follow the rules but it made me feel a lack of confidence... because I wore the hijab and I didn’t believe in that."
Signs of the war with Israel in June could be seen too. I saw one apartment building, its top-floor apartment still in ruins from an Israeli strike.
DISSATISFACTION SIMMERS UNDER THE SURFACE
Hardliners within Iran’s theocracy repeatedly have called for increased enforcement of the hijab laws. Iran’s reformist President Masoud Pezeshkian has pushed to halt that, saying in September in an interview with NBC News that "human beings have a right to choose."
Iran’s 86-year-old supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...> , has so far left the hijab issue alone after this year’s war, which also saw the United States bomb Iranian nuclear enrichment sites.
Also on hold is any change to Iran’s government-subsidized gasoline prices, among the cheapest in the world, despite increasing economic pressure on the country as its rial currency trades at over 1 million to USD$1.
The reason likely rests in the widespread dissatisfaction of Iran’s people with its theocracy at the moment. Previous government actions on both issues led to nationwide protests and security force crackdowns that killed hundreds and saw thousands detained.
In recent days, Pezeshkian’s social affairs adviser Mohammad-Javad Javadi-Yeganeh acknowledged data from an unpublished survey by the state-linked Iranian Students Polling Agency.
The polling reportedly suggested widespread discontent with the government, something not previously acknowledged by officials who have repeatedly contended that the country came together during the 12-day war. Fear of another war breaking out permeates conversations across Tehran.
"When we visit provinces, we see in surveys that people are discontent about the administration," Pezeshkian recently said, without directly acknowledging the polling. "We are answerable since we cannot provide services to people."
The polling tracks with widespread voter discontent and a low turnout during last year’s initial presidential vote.
"Years of economic hardship, inflation, currency volatility, unemployment and public frustration over environmental and social challenges have sharply eroded trust in institutions," the Washington-based National Iranian American Council said in an analysis about the reported polling data.
Yet the worry of a renewed government crackdown persists for a population exhausted by the grind of international sanctions and the widespread fear that another war with Israel will come.
"Sometimes that fear is with me," the Iranian woman living in Canada said. "Sometimes when I’m behind the wheel, I try to find my headscarf on my head. That fear is still with me."
[IsraelTimes] The US ambassador to Lebanon says Israel doesn’t need US permission to defend itself and that Washington is pressuring Beirut to implement its decision to disarm the Hezbollah terror group.
“Israel assesses its own security needs and will take whatever measures it deems appropriate to protect its citizens. There is no need to obtain permission from the United States to do so,” Michel Issa, who took up the position earlier this month, tells the Haaretz daily.
Issa adds that Washington “urges [the Lebanese government] to implement the historical decision to disarm Hezbollah.”
Israel has escalated strikes in Lebanon in recent weeks, accusing Hezbollah of rebuilding in violation of the ceasefire deal that ended over a year of violence, including two months of open warfare.
Lebanon has faced US and Israeli pressure to disarm Hezbollah in accordance with the ceasefire, which envisions the Lebanese military and international peacekeeping force UNIFIL controlling southern Lebanon. Hezbollah has refused to give up its weapons.
