[OneIndia] An independent media outlet in Afghanistan has reported that the Taliban ...Arabic for students... have killed a child on the suspicion that his father was part of the Afghan resistance forces.
The Panjshir Observer said, " child executed in Takhar province by Taliban fighters after his father is suspected of being in the Resistance®. #WarCrimes #Afghanistan." The killing comes in the wake of several brutalities being reported. The Taliban has carried out several executions of those who have raised their voice against them.
The Taliban have gone on the offensive in Panjshir, which incidentally was the last province that fell to the group.

Fricken 7th Century sub-humans. I expect that when the UN recognizes a Talib representative from Afghanistan, he will be serving on the Human Rights Commission.

MM, I won't pin this totally on Bidet as these 'students' have routinely killed family members of their opposition for centuries. It's the 'Tribal Way'.
I will pin it on Warthog's "Fricken 7th Century sub-humans".

De-civilization in action. Chicago would be a good example here at home.

Just as some people blame everything bad on global warming or COVID, I think we should turn their playbook back on them and attribute stuff like this to any vote for Bidet.

[AlAhram] Five Sudanese counterterrorism officers were killed Tuesday during a raid in Khartoum targeting "a cell linked to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group", the country's intelligence services said in a statement.
"After receiving information on the presence of a terrorist cell linked to IS, intelligence officers conducted a search," it said.
During the operation, "two officers and three non-commissioned officers" were killed, while "four foreign bully boyz managed to escape".
"Eleven bully boyz from different foreign countries have been arrested," the statement added.
A two-storey house in the capital's Jabra neighbourhood was surrounded by a cordon of security forces, who asked crowds to move away in case explosives were left behind, an AFP news hound said.
Neighbours told AFP they heard an exchange of gunfire and saw the maimed being transported away in cars.
In 2019 the US Department of State warned of the risk of IS in Sudan.
"Despite the absence of high-profile terrorist attacks, ISIS facilitation networks appear to be active within Sudan," it said, using another name for the group in its 2019 country report on terrorism.
Sudanese officials had "acknowledged that there were 'extremists' linked to ISIS in the country", the report added.

[Garowe] A senior al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... commander on Monday surrendered to government forces on Monday, in a dramatic move at Hirshabelle, in the latest development that could significantly boost the fight against the gunnies who have been controlling large swathes of rural central and southern Somalia.
The al-Shabaab gunnies have been fighting to topple the fragile UN-backed Somalia administration, but their efforts have dragged due to systematic military operations, which are spearheaded by both the Somali National Army [SNA] and AU forces.
HirShabelle authorities said Senior al-Shabaab commander Hassan Ahmed surrendered to Somalia's troops in the region after making contacts with SNA. He was received and would undergo proper counseling before being let free.
He said has been fighting along al-Shabaab for several years but took the decision to leave the group battling the UN-backed Govt and AMISOM. The defector was in charge of operations in Central Somalia.
Usually, such defectors undergo counseling before being repatriated to their respective families. One of the key detectors from the gunnies is Mukhtaar Robow, who would later be arrested and detained by authorities incommunicado, a move which has been condemned.
Robow remains in a Mogadishu prison over 3 years later after being arrested by SNA and Æthiopian National Defense Forces [ENDF] working in Baidoa, Southwest. Robow had joined the Southwest presidential race before his arrest and subsequent incarceration.
Ahmed's move comes a few days after the SNA and AMISOM signed security agreements which would see joint operations take place in coming weeks. AMISOM has been hailed for helping the SNA troops adapt to Sophisticated operations in the city.
The al-Shabaab group has been suffering significant losses despite its ability to conduct small to large sporadic attacks in the country. It's estimated that the group has close to 7,000 active fighters who have been wreaking havoc in the Horn of Africa nation.
[Garowe] The Kenya Defense Forces [KDF] has confirmed that at least 15 al-Shabaab ...... al-Qaeda's tentacle in East Africa... Lions of Islam died on Monday after an Improvised Explosive Device [IED] went off after they had targeted some rural suburbs of Lamu.
According to KDF spokesperson Colonel Esther Kioko, the 15 were traveling inside a vehicle that ran over the IED, killing them on the spot and destroying the vehicle.
"The vehicle ran over an IED killing the 15 on the spot in Lamu near the border with Somalia," a statement by Esther Kioko, the Kenya Defense Forces [KDF] spokesperson, said.
Col. Kioko said the incident took place at 9:30 am between Sarira and Ras Kiamboni near Ishakani in Lamu County. According to Kioko, the IED was placed on the road by al-Shabaab fighters. It appears that the al-Shabaab fighters unintentionally ran over it.
It's been established that all occupants of the vehicle went titzup. There was a massive presence of coppers near the area where the incident took place.
Intelligence reports published by the security forces in Kenya have frequently revealed that a considerable presence of Lions of Islam along with the Kenya- Somali border and within the vast North-Eastern region.
It remains unclear who had planted the IED, which ended the lives of the krazed killers. However, those who apply themselves too closely to little things often become incapable of great things... Al-Shabaab is known to use IEDs, especially in the North-Eastern region. Kenya has been a target of the Lions of Islam who have their base located in Somalia.
In a recent statement, Strategic Intelligence, which keeps records on Al-Shabaab operations and attacks in the East Africa region, said that Kenyan Security agencies should be cautious, especially in terror-prone counties of Mandera, Wajir Lamu, and Garissa.
In May, suspected Al-Shabaab Lions of Islam planted IEDs along a busy road in Lamu which led to the death of eight soldiers after a vehicle the officers were traveling in ran over an IED which police believe was planted by the Lions of Islam in Baure.
The early morning incident took place in Baure, located in the dense Boni Forest, where the national government has been undertaking a multi-agency security operation dubbed Linda Boni.
The operation is aimed at flashing out al-Shabaab Lions of Islam in the vast Lamu County. Two weeks before the incident took place, two people were killed and one critically injured in Lamu when the vehicle they were traveling in ran over an IED still near the border with Somalia.
Al-Shabaab Lions of Islam denied that their Lions of Islam were killed by running over their own IED. Media outlets that are affiliated with the insurgency group claim that it was fifteen Kenyan soldiers who were killed on Monday.
For the last two years, a considerable number of KDF troops have been pitching tents in Lamu where they are involved in an operation in Boni Forest. Last week, President Uhuru Kenyatta visited a Naval Base in Manda, a year after the al-Shabaab attack in Manda Naval Base.
Last year's incident forced the Americans to deploy more security forces along Kenya's coast. The January 5, 2020 incident left three Americans dead but security forces managed to kill the Lions of Islam who attacked the base.

The Nigerian Air Force fired upon and killed dozens of civilians at a village in the northeast, a victim and a resident said on Tuesday, as the country wages a 12-year war against Islamist insurgencies.
The air force did not respond to repeated requests for comment by phone and message.
The deaths come two months after the U.S. government transferred six A-29 Super Tucano fighter planes to Nigeria to assist in its war against Islamist militants. The sale of the aircraft was condemned by critics, citing the Nigerian military's record of killing civilians.
Two planes bombed a fish market in the village of Daban Masara on Sunday, said Husaini, who spoke to Reuters by phone on condition he be identified only by his first name. He said his leg was wounded in the attack.
"At least 50 people were killed instantly... including my friend who got married just three weeks ago," Husaini said.
The other resident, who asked not to be named, said locals had been fishing despite a military ban on the trade because of allegations the sales of fish are funding the Islamic State West Africa Province insurgent group.
The resident said they saw the corpses of at least 60 people after the air force's strike.
"They are innocent people like us that depend on fishing to sustain their living. Their mistake is that they were fishing in an area restricted by security forces," said the resident.
A United Nations security report reviewed by Reuters confirmed the strike, saying one fisherman was killed and six wounded
It is not clear whether the killings could affect the transfer to Nigeria of six more A-29 Super Tucanos, propeller-driven light attack aircraft.
The United States under then-President Donald Trump agreed to sell the planes to Nigeria in 2017, resurrecting a deal frozen by the Barack Obama administration after the Nigerian Air Force bombed a refugee camp, killing as many as 170 civilians.

[AlAhram] A rusty, overloaded fishing boat carrying 686 people arrived at an Italian island port amid new diplomatic efforts by Mediterranean governments to seek more European help in handling migrant arrivals.
Italian coasties ships escorted the boat, which was carrying mostly young men, into port late Monday in Lampedusa, Sicily, an island closer to Africa than the Italian mainland that is one of the main destinations for Libyan-based migrant smugglers.
The passengers disembarked and were taken to a reception center where they were to be processed. Recently Italia began a program to vaccinate newly arrived migrants colonists in Lampedusa against COVID-19.
The arrivals were the latest in a year that has seen a marked increase in the number of migrants colonists arriving in Italia.
As of Monday, 44,778 migrants colonists had disembarked in Italia this year, with the top nationalities Tunisia, Bangladesh and Egypt. The total is nearly double the number of arrivals in the first nine months of 2020 and five times the number of 2019, according to Interior Ministry statistics.
The arrivals have added urgency to efforts by Mediterranean countries to pressure the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... to develop a more equitable migration policy that addresses the problem driving people to flee their homelands and shares the burden beyond front-line European countries that receive the bulk of would-be asylum-seekers.
Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese met with her counterparts from Spain, Malta, Greece and Cyprus this week in Malaga, Spain and said there was an ``urgent'' need to craft a European policy that is equitable and provides ``ambitious'' financing for border patrols, redistribution and repatriation programs.
[OneIndia] The rise of the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... in Afghanistan is being closely watched by the world.
However there is also a lurking danger of the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Khorasan Province (ISKP) raising its ugly head in Afghanistan and spreading its tentacles in other parts of the world.
The deadly attack at the Kabul airport recently is a sign that the ISKP is capable of striking big. Analysts and experts OneIndia spoke with say that the Taliban may have downplayed the threat, but the fact remains that the Taliban is not a united faction and the ISKP may over the months get stronger with disgruntled cadres joining the outfit.
The manner in which the ISKP struck at the airport is very similar to the attacks that the Taliban would carry out when it was not in power. Investigations have revealed that the ISKP used sticky bombs during the attack and this is very similar to the Taliban style of operation.
While the rise of the Taliban is a huge matter of concern, analysts say that the strengthening of the ISKP is a matter of greater worry. The ISKP nurtured global ambitions, while the Taliban would by and large stay at home and operate. The ISKP in the Indian context is even more dangerous since it has managed to recruit scores of Moslems especially from Kerala. Such attacks such as the one that took place in the Kabul airport may well breathe life into fence sitters who the ISKP is trying to recruit.
While the ISKP and Taliban have been at loggerheads, there is also a chance that the former may be allowed by the latter to operate in specific zones by the latter. For instance, Pakistain's ISI may well use it as a proxy to carry out attacks in India. The ISI may also fund the ISKP heavily as the outfit is in dire need of funds after its finances began to dwindle.
Afghanistan watchers say that it is never right to write off the ISKP. The Taliban continues to be a broken unit and as we have seen in the past, many from the group have joined the ISKP. If such attacks continue to take place, it would only add more life to the ISKP and there is a good chance and many from the Taliban or Pakistain based terror groups will join the outfit.
The ISKP remains an extremely dangerous entity and in the Indian context it is a matter of concern.
The Intelligence Bureau would continue to keep its focus closely on states such as Kerala and Tamil Nadu. As has been said recently, since the Kabul airport attack took place, the chatter on the social media and other messaging applications have only increased. An IB officer says that they are monitoring the web closely and are doing everything they can to ensure that the recruitment drive does not go into overdrive mode with the ISKP trying to up its game in Afghanistan.

[Rudaw] One Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. (ISIS) member was killed north of Baghdad on Monday during a security operation, state media reported.
The murderous Moslem was killed as the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) thwarted an "infiltration attempt" by ISIS in Tarmiyah district, located about 50 kilometers north of the capital, the force told state media.
Both civilians and security forces are vulnerable to ISIS attacks in Tarmiyah. Locals say the murderous Moslem group regularly extorts the population and uses the area as a launchpad to target the nearby capital.
Four soldiers were killed in an IED explosion in the district in May. A security source blamed the attack on the terror group.
Iraqi forces launch frequent operations targeting ISIS remnants in the area. Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi announced a new security operation last month.
ISIS seized control of swathes of Iraq in 2014. The group was declared territorially defeated in Iraq in 2017 but remains a threat, carrying out bombings, hit-and-run attacks, and abductions across several provinces.
The PMF also thwarted an ISIS "terrorist plot" in al-Hussainiya village, southwest of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... , according to state media.
The force found bombs but were demolished before they were detonated.
The PMF is an umbrella network largely made up of Shiite militia groups that was formed in 2014 in response to a fatwa issued by Iraq’s most senior Shiite holy man, Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, urging young Iraqis to take up arms against ISIS.
In the latest edition of its weekly propaganda magazine al-Nabaa, ISIS claimed it carried out 6 attacks in Iraq from September 17 to 23, killing and injuring 11 people.

[IsraelTimes] Paleostinians claim settlers smashed cars, homes; Israel Police says 2 Paleostinians and one Israeli arrested.
Dozens of masked Israeli settlers threw stones at Paleostinians in the south Hebron hills on Tuesday afternoon, smashing cars and injuring at least twelve Paleostinians, including a three-year-old boy, Paleostinian and Israeli witnesses said.
Some Paleostinians threw stones back at the settlers as well, causing festivities to break out between the two sides, witnesses said. Three Israelis were maimed as well, according to Hebrew media reports.
In videos from the scene, Israeli settlers can be seen breaking Paleostinian car windows and hurling stones at Paleostinian homes. The confrontations took place near the small Paleostinian shepherding camp of al-Mufaqara, a cluster of homes that straddles two illegal Israeli West Bank outposts, Avigayil and Havat Maon.
Two Paleostinians and one Israeli on the scene were arrested by officers for stone-throwing and assault, a police spokesperson said. Paleostinian witnesses said the Israeli military — which did not respond to requests for comment — fired tear gas and sound grenades at them, but not the settlers.
The injured boy, Mohammad Bakr Hussein, was allegedly struck in the head by a rock hurled by an Israeli settler as he slept in his house in al-Mufaqara. Hussein was evacuated for to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba in moderate condition, a hospital spokesperson said.
Some 16 Paleostinian cars were also damaged by settler stone-throwing, including one flipped entirely on its side. Houses were damaged, and a water tank punctured, said Oriel Eisner, 30, a left-wing Israeli-American activist.
"This was the worst attack we’ve seen for years. There isn’t a house they didn’t smash up," said Paleostinian resident Mahmoud Hussein, the boy’s grandfather.
According to local resident Basil al-Adra, the festivities erupted after settlers attacked a Paleostinian shepherd. Paleostinians arrived on the scene to push back the settlers, prompting many more to arrive from other outposts in the area.
"It must have been around 100 settlers, from all the outposts near al-Mufaqara. They smashed windows, punctured car tires, entered homes. And they injured a child as they hurled stones into his home," said al-Adra, who was present at the scene.
"We don’t even feel safe in our own homes anymore," al-Adra added.
Assault and vandalism by settlers against Paleostinians and Israeli security forces in the West Bank are commonly referred to as "price tag" attacks. Perpetrators say thar they are retaliation for Paleostinian violence or government policies seen as hostile to the settler movement.
Israeli authorities rarely arrest Jewish perpetrators. Rights groups lament that convictions are even more unusual, with the vast majority of charges in such cases being dropped.
Hebron Hills council head Yochai Damari said in a statement that the Israelis who had engaged in the festivities were "guests, not [local] residents, who say stones were thrown at them."
"Our way is not violence. Not against soldiers and not against Arabs," Damari said. He added that Paleostinians had been known to provoke festivities through "rioting and collaborating with anarchists."
According to Damari, Paleostinians also threw stones at the car of local Israeli private security guard who works in the nearby outpost of Havat Maon.
Once Eisner got word of the incident on Tuesday afternoon, he immediately called the police, who arrived about 45 minutes to an hour later, he said. Eisner, al-Adra and Hussein attested that they had seen a masked settler wield a gun and fire live ammunition into the air.
The incident sparked condemnation by left-wing Israeli parliamentarians.
"The lords of the land, backed by the occupation army and with the support of the occupation government, carry out daily terrorism on Paleostinian residents," wrote Joint List MK Aida Touma-Suleiman on Twitter.
[IsraelTimes] Individuals briefly detained by police, escorted off holy site for displaying flag; Ra’am’s religious council says ’status quo’ violations at flashpoint site can lead to conflict
A number of visitors to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City displayed Israeli flags on Monday, a prohibited move that angered Paleostinians and the Ra’am-linked Islamic Movement.
That’d be the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, the militant wing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Israel. They do like getting upset about imaginary insults to the Muslim ownership of the Temple Mount.
Those waving the Israeli flag on Monday morning during the Sukkot holiday were briefly detained by police and escorted off the holy site.
The Islamic Movement warned the Israeli government of "ongoing violations on the Temple Mount and the escalations against the holy al-Aqsa Mosque by murderous Moslem settlers," according to the Ynet news site.
The coalition’s Ra’am party is the political wing of the Southern Islamic Movement,
...sometimes called the Southern Branch...
an organization inspired by the Moslem Brüderbund.
"The racist right-wing has recently been trying to exploit the al-Aqsa Mosque for its political purposes. These violations have led to conflicts in the past, and could lead to conflicts if the phenomenon continues," the movement warned.
"We have declared this before and we declare it again, al-Aqsa [mosque] is a red line, and for us, it is the holiest shrine in this country," the Islamic Movement’s statement said.
"We will not allow any violation of its sanctity or any change in the status quo," it added.
The Temple Mount compound is considered the holiest place in Judaism as it is the site where the first and second Jewish Temples once stood. It also houses the al-Aqsa Mosque, the third-holiest site in Islam.
The flashpoint site is an emotional epicenter of the Israeli-Paleostinian conflict. Many rounds of deadly fighting in the decades-long conflict have erupted around it.
Israel captured the Temple Mount, and the rest of the Old City and East Jerusalem, from Jordan in the 1967 Six Day War, and annexed it, but it allowed Jordan’s Waqf (Moslem trust) to continue to oversee the compound and other Islamic sites in Jerusalem.
Since 1967, a loose set of rules known as the "status quo" have governed day-to-day operations at the site. Any actual or perceived changes to the status quo have the potential to ignite violence.
Under the arrangement, non-Moslems are allowed to visit the Temple Mount but not to pray there.
Jews are allowed to enter in small groups during limited hours, but are taken through a predetermined route, are closely watched and are prohibited from praying or displaying any religious or national symbols.
For decades, religious Jews largely avoided visiting the site for religious reasons. Many leading rabbis, including the country’s Chief Rabbinate, ruled after the 1967 war that Jews "should not enter the entire area of the Temple Mount" out of concern for ritual impurity and uncertainty over the exact location of the ancient Temple’s holy of holies.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who leads the right-wing Yamina party, raised eyebrows in July on the Jewish fast day of Tisha B’Av when he said Israel was committed to protecting "freedom of worship" for Jews at the compound. His office quickly issued a clarification stating there was "no change whatsoever" in the status quo.
[IsraelTimes] Busses taking some 500 Jewish worshippers to pray at Joseph’s Tomb attacked by Paleostinians with gunfire, rocks and explosives, troops return fire.
Two Israeli soldiers were lightly hurt during festivities with Paleostinians near Joseph’s Tomb in the northern West Bank early Monday, the Israel Police said.
The troops were part of a Military Police force guarding a group of some 500 Jewish worshipers who went to the site, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Paleostinians attacked the convoy of busses going to the shrine with live fire, stones and homemade bombs, police said in a statement.
Soldiers returned fire, the statement said.
There were no immediate details on Paleostinian casualties.
One officer was hit by shrapnel from an bomb, while the second was hit in the face with a stone. Both were lightly maimed.
The festivities come a day after Israeli forces killed five Paleostinians in a series of raids across the West Bank. Two Israeli soldiers were seriously maimed, apparently in a friendly fire incident.
The raids targeted alleged members of a Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", cell who were planning a major terror attack reminiscent of the Second Intifada, officials told Hebrew-language television networks.
It was not clear if the festivities at the tomb were a reaction to the raids. The shrine has in itself been a frequent flashpoint.
Near-monthly visits by Israelis to Joseph’s Tomb are permitted by the Israel Defense Forces and are carried out under heavily armed guard.
Joseph’s Tomb is located inside Area A of the West Bank, which is officially under complete Paleostinian Authority control, though the Israeli military conducts activities there. The IDF bars Israeli citizens from entering Area A without prior authorization.
The site is venerated by Jews, Christians and Moslems, and has often been a flashpoint for sectarian violence. During the visits by Jewish pilgrims, Paleostinians routinely throw rocks at the troops, and sometimes attack them with Molotov cocktails and gunfire.
In 2015 a large group of Paleostinians set fire to the compound containing Joseph’s Tomb. Paleostinian Authority security forces dispersed the hundred-strong crowd and managed to douse the fire at the tomb, which tradition says contains the remains of the biblical patriarch Joseph.
There have been other incidents of arson and vandalism at the site, including major damage by Paleostinian rioters in 2000.
[BenarNews] At least 17 people — mostly suspected Islamic forces of Evil — were killed during heavy fighting between government forces and BIFF turbans in the southern Philippines at the weekend, the military said Monday.
The festivities began when some 30 member of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters ...a MILF splinter group aligned with the Islamic State... (BIFF) attacked government soldiers who were patrolling near Shariff Saydona Mustapha town in Maguindanao province, according to a front man for the Army’s 6th Division.
"One soldier and 16 other BIFF forces of Evil were killed," Lt. Col. John Paul Baldomar said. "The figures of fatalities from the enemy side were provided to us by civilians. We have their names."
"The running gun-battles started Saturday and lasted until Sunday afternoon. Mopping up operations are ongoing," he told BenarNews.
BIFF are guerrillas who broke away from the former separatist group Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), when the latter agreed to a peace deal with the government for an expanded autonomy in the Philippine south.
The MILF now controls the region and has been helping Manila fight against the BIFF and other bully boy organizations.
Baldomar said the military used artillery and called in air support against the bully boys, who are believed to be hiding out in a vast marshland that borders Shariff Saydona Mustapha.
The bodies of two of the 16 slain BIFF fighters have been recovered so far, he said. But a military intelligence report, including information provided by locals, indicated that 14 more forces of Evil had been killed in the shootout.
The slain fighters were followers of Ustadz Karialan, one of three ranking commanders of the BIFF who has, however, not openly come out in support of the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... bad boy group. The two other BIFF leaders, Ismail Abubakar and Abu Turaife have pledged their allegiance to IS.
It was unclear if Karialan was among the forces of Evil killed, Baldomar said.
"Until today, our clearing operation in the area is ongoing," he said, adding that army units had fired artillery toward the bully boys’ positions.
He said government forces were also bracing for possible retaliatory attacks.
