[NYP] Jeanine Pirro, U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, criticized Democratic leaders for opposing the Trump administration’s crime crackdown in Washington, D.C. and for resisting the possibility of expanding similar efforts to other cities in the country.
Pirro singled out Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker after Chicago experienced one of its most violent weekends of the year.
"This guy Pritzker, he should be ashamed of himself," Pirro said on "America Reports," referring to the staggering number of shootings and fatalities.
"It is a rejection of your oath to protect the people."

Admin should send Congress an amendment to the Posse Comitatis Act authorizing Federalization of local police and augmentation by National Guard or Armed forces upon request by Gov and Mayor.
This would probably result in some Governors/Mayors basically self identifying themselves pro crime but some actually beefing up local forces and standing behind their police.

The judge ignore the text of Posse Comitatus Act which says the Army can't be used. It said nothing about the Navy or its Marine Corps which back in those days was so small as not to be of issue.
[NYPOST] Bodies are piling up on the streets of reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... over Labor Day weekend — with 54 shot, including seven killed, as President Trump and Illinois Gov. Pritzker spar over sending the National Guard into the Windy City.
At least 32 separate shootings occurred in Chicago between Friday evening and noon on Monday, according to a review of police incident reports by ABC News.
Just hours after Trump posted a message on Truth Social on Saturday criticizing Pritzker’s handling of crime in the city, at least seven people were shot around 11:10 p.m. in Bronzeville. All of the people are expected to be okay.
Trump called the governor "weak and pathetic" for dismissing the need for a National Guard presence in the Windy City in the social media post.
The president further warned "we’re coming" — suggesting some sort of federal action on crime in Chicago — if Pritzker doesn’t "straighten it out, FAST."
"National Guard troops or any kind of troops on the streets of an American city don’t belong unless there is an insurrection, unless there is truly an emergency — and there is not," Pritzker said of the situation in Chicago.
He also vowed to sue the Trump administration if troops are indeed deployed.
"It’s an invasion with US troops, if they in fact do that," Pritzker argued. "They’ll be in court pretty quickly," he added.

Funny thing, coincidence I guess, but that's how many were killed in the 1929 Saint Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago as a result of Capone's ambition to dominate the bootleg liquor business.
Seven victims were killed during the 2025 Labor Day weekend in Chicago and seven victims were killed on Saint Valentine's Day in 1929 in Chicago. But even Capone couldn't claim an additional 47 wounded.
Ponder that, Pritzker. That level of malfeasance should get you place in history with the likes of Herod, Nero, Caligua, Al Capone, Jeffrey Dahmer and the Zodiac Killer. Hell, if you weren't so stupid, fat and lazy you could have gone as far as Genghis Kahn, Adolf Hitler, Joe Stalin and Mao Tse Tung. It goes beyond shame. Way beyond.

[NYPOST] Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem went on a tirade against CBS News on Sunday over allegations the network edited her interview about alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal migrant whom the Trump administration deported to El Salvador earlier this year.
Noem was on CBS’ "Face the Nation" discussing Abrego Garcia on Sunday morning, she said on X, but noticed by afternoon that the footage had been clipped to remove part of her answer.
"This individual was a known human smuggler, a MS-13 gang member, an individual who was a wife beater, and someone who was so perverted that he solicited nude photos from minors, and even his fellow human traffickers told him to knock it off, he was so sick in what he was doing and how he was treating small children," the DHS chief said in the full, unaired clip.
"So he needs to never be in the United States of America and our administration is making sure we’re doing all that we can to bring him to justice," she added.
"Secretary Noem’s ’Face the Nation’ interview was edited for time and met all CBS News standards," a CBS rep told The Post. "The entire interview is publicly available on YouTube, and the full transcript was posted early Sunday morning at CBSNews.com."
Noem wrote on X, "This morning, I joined CBS to report the facts about Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Instead, CBS shamefully edited the interview to whitewash the truth about this MS-13 gang member and the threat he poses to American public safety."
A US immigration judge ruled in 2019 that Abrego Garcia couldn’t be deported to El Salvador due to threats from local gangs — but the Trump administration flew him along with hundreds of other alleged gang members out of the country to a megaprison in the Central American nation earlier this year.
The Trump administration claimed he was a member of the violent mostly peaceful MS-13 gang — a US-designated foreign terrorist organization — based on a determination during that 2019 court proceeding.
Abrego Garcia and his defense attorneys have denied the allegation.

The purported Salvadoran gangbanger was eventually brought back to the US in June and charged with human smuggling, but released briefly before that trial — only to be apprehended again by ICE on Aug. 25.
He faces the possibility of being deported to Uganda after having declined to plead guilty to the smuggling charges as part of an agreement that would send him to Costa Rica instead.
Abrego Garcia’s lawyers are still working on getting him asylum in the US. His first attempt in 2019 was denied, but if this one is approved, it could put him on a pathway to a green card and American citizenship.

DOGE continued by saying it also eliminated "a $102k DOT contract for an ’assessment specialist academics provost office’, a $179k State Dept. contract for ’customized English language training to the US embassy in Yerevan, Armenia’, and a $25k DOI contract to ’provide facilitation, collaborative problem solving services’."
Furthermore, DOGE shared a message from the White House Office of Budget and Management showing an order signed by Donald Trump ...The Hero of Butler, Pennsylvania... and celebrating that the president canceled "$4.9 billion in America Last foreign aid" via a pocket rescission.
With our national debt at around $37.3 trillion and climbing every day and even every hour, it is obvious we need to take drastic action to reduce our out-of-control spending and try to return the United States to fiscal responsibility. While it would be better if Congress would join in more enthusiastically, at least DOGE is making headway on the mountain of unjustifiable and unnecessary federal government contracts and programs.
