[Townhall] In a stunning move, former Anchorage mayor Dan A. Sullivan has endorsed Republican incumbent Dan S. Sullivan over phony Republican challenger Dan J. Sullivan in the most convoluted election in living memory.
“As the OG Dan Sullivan, I urge Alaskans to vote for Sen. Daniel S. Sullivan,” Dan A. Sullivan said in a Facebook post. “He’s been great for Alaska.”
The battle of the Sullivans in Alaska began when Dan J. Sullivan launched a bid to challenge Republican incumbent Dan S. Sullivan. What could initially be chalked up to a run-of-the-mill oddity in politics was quickly revealed as a nefarious scheme by Democrats after metadata proved that Dan J. Sullivan’s candidacy was aided by a consultant heavily tied to Alaska Democrat Senate candidate Mary Peltola.
The situation became more blatant after elections officials revealed that Dan J. Sullivan requested that he be listed on the ballot as “Dan S. Sullivan,” the forgoing his actual middle initial to adopt that of the Republican incumbent’s. Alaskan officials also showed that Dan J. Sullivan had not affiliated as a Republican until moments before he decided to run for office with their party.
Elections officials ruled that Dan J. Sullivan had clearly used his candidacy as a means of confusing voters to siphon away from the Republican incumbent, and declared that he was not eligible to appear on the ballot. His spoiler candidacy was only saved by the Alaskan Supreme Court.
Now, with the Alaskan primary over, Dan J. Sullivan has made it to the second round of voting. Republicans are left scrambling to distribute information quickly about the false Sullivan so that voters are informed about the scam.
The Chuck Schumer and Peltola-backed scheme to rob Sen. Sullivan of his seat will face its final test during the midterm elections in November.

Aug. 1, Greene had posted a photo of herself with her new husband Brian Glenn, Massie and Joe Kent, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center who quit this year in protest of the Iran war.
Greene implied these faces were planning a new political force in America, saying: "We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he's betrayed us all. Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center. The movement has begun."

Carlson has gone around the bend. I knew him before all of this. His wife is lovely and kids are very nice. Maybe it’s about money or maybe he’s just a Jew-hating nutball. Whatever. He’s toxic.
According to Wikipedia, Mr. Carlson is not only a second generation newsman, but actually was a Democrat for many years (2006-2020), and only briefly a Republican (2020-2026) before reverting to type.

Assembly Bill 2624 expands California's Safe at Home program to employees of nonprofits that serve people navigating the immigration system.
Critics have blasted the measure as a way to intimidate people "trying to shine light on bad behavior," , such as Shirley's investigative reports on fraud in California and Minnesota.
The law takes effect Oct. 1, 2027.
Republicans gave the measure the nickname of the "Stop Nick Shirley Act," coined by Assemblyman Carl DeMaio, R-San Diego.
Shirley, an independent journalist and YouTuber, has made videos following immigrant workers and accusing them of fraud.
He has criticized AB 2624, saying it was created after he “exposed widespread fraud in immigrant communities” in California and Minnesota.
The controversy intensified after Shirley traveled to San Diego following the viral success of videos he produced about Minnesota.
Newsom said in February that Somali daycare providers there were “under siege” following Shirley’s arrival.
Of course this new law is unconstitutional and eventually it will be overturned. But in the meantime it will have a chilling effect on independent journalists like Nick Shirley. Newsom and Ms. Bonta obviously don't care how much the legal battle costs the state because it'll be taxpayers' money, not theirs.

It will be struck down in court, the left will hyperventilate and claim Nick is threatening the lives of the downtrodden and then start saying he is violent or encouraging it, just like Charlie Kirk.
And then their followers will kill him. Just like Charlie Kirk.
This will keep happening until we start putting these people in prison and/or killing them. There is no middle ground.
