[Breitbart] President Joe Biden was involved in his corrupt family business at least 13 times over nine years.
While Joe Biden and his staff have claimed seven times the president has had no part in the family business, overwhelming evidence suggests Joe Biden has not just been involved in the family business but has played a key role with his son Hunter and brother James.
The evidence includes photos of Joe Biden meeting family business partners, Hunter’s former business partner’s testimony about Joe Biden’s involvement, Joe Biden flying to foreign countries to meet with Hunter’s business partners, and a voice recording of Joe Biden calling Hunter about a Chinese business deal.
The evidence has convinced 58 percent of voters that Joe Biden has played a role in his family’s business. Sixty percent say Hunter Biden, a key member of the family enterprise, has sold “influence and access” to Joe Biden.

[NYPOST] Monticello is going woke — and trashing Thomas Jefferson’s good name in the process.
The Charlottesville, Virginia, home of the Founding Father and America’s third president is one of our best-known national monuments, familiar from its appearance on the nickel since 1938.
But the hilltop mansion designed by Jefferson himself, once preserved as a tribute to the author of the Declaration of Independence, now offers visitors a harangue on the horrors of slavery.
"The whole thing has the feel of propaganda and manipulation," Jeffrey Tucker, founder of the libertarian Brownstone Institute and a recent visitor, told The Post. "People on my tour seemed sad and demoralized."
The new emphasis is the culmination of a 10-year effort to balance the historical record, officials of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, the nonprofit that owns the estate, have said.
But visitors complain that employees go out of their way to belittle Jefferson and his life.
"The tour guides play ’besmirchment derby,’ never missing a chance to defame this brilliant, complex man," Stephen Owen of Enochville, NC, wrote on Facebook.

I could see that beginning at other historic sights about twenty years ago. Changing the momentum of this will look an awful lot like the school board wars. By awful, I mean it is going to be nasty but necessary. True history is important, otherwise the left would not be trying to erase our beginning.

From the layout and operations of Monticello I suspect he had enough of a conscience that he wanted to look at his slaves as little as he could--beyond the crest of the hill, under the floor, behind a revolving serving door.

[NYPOST] Mayor Eric Adams says his "heart goes out" to Jose Alba, the bodega employee unjustly charged with murder for defending himself from a violent mostly peaceful attack. Yet he won’t condemn Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for bringing the charges against Alba and having him tossed in the slammer Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up! on $500,000 bail.
What’s the mayor afraid of?
Adams says "we cannot dictate or mandate how [a DA] determines how he’s going to prosecute crimes," and he won’t "second-guess" Bragg "for his actions."
Hmm. The mayor had no problems "second-guessing" Staten Island DA Mike McMahon’s decision to hit a grocery-store worker with a 24-hour jail stay for seeming to strike former Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Adams called that lockup "unfair" — and explicitly urged the DA to consider prosecuting Giuliani for filing a false police report.
Yes, the mayor’s heart is in the right place on crime. The police initiatives he’s put in place have started to drive down homicides and shootings somewhat — though other crimes continue to tick up. And he rightly blasts his fellow Dems’ disastrous criminal-justice "reforms."

DiBlassio is worse, but that does not mean that Adams is acceptable. New York is now still headed down the toilet just half as fast.

And speaking of long shots,,,
"As sobbing violins break the Island's
Respectful and dignified silence,
Let's all play our roles
In protecting the sole
Living witness of vile verbal violence!"
[NYPOST] President Biden’s approval rating has crashed to just 30%, its lowest mark yet, in a new national poll.
The Civiqs Poll’s daily tracking survey of registered voters found less than a third of Americans giving the thumbs-up to Biden’s on-the-job performance — and a whopping 57% disapproving.
"Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. S Joe's wife and daughter weren't killed by a drunk driver. He didn't graduate with three or even two degrees, wasn't in the top half of his law class, and his daddy didn't come home from a hard day's work in the mines and play football with the guys. The NAACP hasn't endorsed him every time he's run.... ’s presidency is sinking from a thousand holes in the boat," said GOP consultant Ryan Girdusky.
The poll, released Friday, found Biden deep underwater with voters in every age bracket, every educational level, and both genders. Every one of those groups showed approval rates under 40%, with the youngest voters, age 18 to 34, among the most dissatisfied at a dismal 21%.
In only two states out of 50, deep-blue Hawaii and Vermont, do Biden’s supporters outnumber his detractors.
Democrats and black voters are the two groups still in the president’s corner, the survey found — and not by much.

Civiqs does all polling from people who have volunteered to be polled and affirm that they are registered voters. For each question, a sample of the volunteered is selected. It is done on line.
All people polled have given Civiqs info on age, party affiliation, age, etc. which cuts down on the time needed by the person being polled.
This method seems to result in low approval ratings compared to other methods.
Emerson polling, which tends to produce relatively high Biden approval numbers has a mix of landline and on line people being polled.
Other pollsters use other methods. When Gallup did daily tracking they used land line for many years then mixed land line and cell. Gallup no longer does daily polling.

Rasmussen polling is not so dramatic, but "Strongly Approve" has gone from 35% to under 20%. I assume those are all the lefty progressives.
"Total Disapprove" has gone from 45% to 60%.

I think the far-left people went to disapprove of him long ago. The remaining approve folks are a mix of out of touch people, forever Democrats and people who are finically corrupted by some aspect of his agenda.

I assume those are all the lefty progressives.
I assume that they are ...lying. They have no incentive to tell the truth when polled and want to tell a "white lie" to make their side look better. ...Or they can't bear to say anything bad about their 'standard bearer' to an outsider -- a very human action.

Rasmussen methodology uses both telephone interviews and on line. I don't understand how these are merged.

I understand Rasmussen asks the same questions every day, (strongly support, support, etc.) reducing the potential for carefully crafted questions to push the narrative.

Dumb, dumb, dumb. The far left hates Biden. They hate the Democrats. The Democrats hate the far left. It's simple and easy to understand, and I don't get why so many don't seem to comprehend this very simple fact.

^ I think it's a given most polls overstate what the dems would consider good news for them.

Polling trends leftward overwhelmingly without the need for content bias by the authors. Conservatives are culturally more private and unwilling to share opinion, skewing even honest polling efforts. Further, most polls use a "weighting" methodology to claim representative opinion, further weighting answers leftward. Note the Cato Institute observation regarding Republicans with a post graduate degree as an exemplar:
"Taking these results together indicates that a significant majority of Americans with diverse political views and backgrounds self‐censor their political opinions. This large number from across demographic groups suggests withheld opinions may not simply be radical or fringe perspectives in the process of being socially marginalized. Instead many of these opinions may be shared by a large number of people. Opinions so widely shared are likely shaping how people think about salient policy issues and ultimately impacting how they vote..."
Conversely, the most leftist liberals are the most vocal:
"Strong liberals stand out, however, as the only political group who feel they can express themselves. Nearly 6 in 10 (58%) of staunch liberals feel they can say what they believe. However, centrist liberals feel differently. A slim majority (52%) of liberals feel they have to self‐censor, as do 64% of moderates, and 77% of conservatives. This demonstrates that political expression is an issue that divides the Democratic coalition between centrist Democrats and their left flank."
