The protests were only approved after the High Court of Justice, hours earlier, issued an interim order effectively forbidding law enforcement from forcibly dispersing demonstrations of fewer than 600 attendees at Habima, and fewer than 150 attendees in Jerusalem, Haifa and Kfar Saba.
The order applied only to Saturday night’s rallies.
The judges were responding to a case that was brought after the police forcibly dispersed similar demonstrations the week before, citing the wartime restrictions issued by the Home Front Command.
In the decision, judges accused police of selectively enforcing the restrictions, which cap outdoor public gatherings at 50 people.
"Police enforcement of Home Front Command guidelines is carried out against protest demonstrations, but not towards other places and events. This situation is difficult to reconcile," judges wrote.

The protests have turned more markedly anti-Israel after the Knesset last week passed a law mandating the death penalty for West Bank Paleostinians convicted of lethal terrorist acts.
In a statement Saturday, the UAE, which normalized relations with Israel in 2020, condemned what it described as "riots, acts of vandalism and assaults" outside its embassy and the residence of its head of mission, and called on Syria to investigate and put perpetrators to account.

Other footage showed uniformed people, identified by Arabic media as Syrian security officers, detaining a protester who had climbed the UAE embassy wall and flown a Paleostinian flag. An officer who removed the flag could be seen raising it on high and kissing it before proceeding with the arrest.
A Syrian security official told Rooters that the people who tried to storm the embassy had split off from a larger pro-Paleostinian demonstration being held at the nearby Umayyad Square.
"Internal security forces prevented them from doing so and dealt with the situation," the official said, speaking anonymously because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
Syria’s foreign ministry did not directly refer to the incident but said in a statement on Friday evening that it took a "firm and unwavering stance" against any attack on or attempt to approach embassies and diplomatic missions.

2nd F-15E Aviator Recovered in High-Risk CSAR Mission Inside Iran

As of mid-day Friday one crew member, the pilot, was recovered. The F-15E Strike Eagle belonged to the 48th Fighter Wing of the U.S. Air Force in Europe or United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE). The 48th is located at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England and consists of two F-15E squadrons.
The WSO was rescued late on Saturday night, April 4, 2026 (EST). On Friday the aviator had moved away from the crash site, found a hide site, and set up a beacon and emergency communications device. The personnel recovery team, numbering in "the hundreds", is reported to have engaged enemy Iranian forces. The aviator is reported to have some injuries after ejecting from the aircraft but was in good enough condition to evade capture in the mountains for more than a day. The location of the rescue was southwestern Iran in the midst of the Zagros Mountains.
The rescue was a complicated mission involving many aircraft. The operation did not go without a few complications. Two MC-130Js landed to extract the rescuers and downed airman but got stuck. The AFSOC aircraft were blown up and three new aircraft flew in for the extraction. It is unknown if some fighting took place between the rescue force and Iranian ground forces during the course of rescuing the second aviator. U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drones protected the crew member from Iranian ground forces approaching his position.
During the operation the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) launched a deception campaign by spreading word inside Iran that U.S. forces in Iran had already found him and were attempting a ground exfiltration in southern Iran.
During the rescue of the pilot on Friday two HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopters were struck by Iranian fire, injuring several crew members; both aircraft returned safely to base. The A-10 is woefully obsolete and was retired for a reason. It was built to wipe out Soviet tanks surging through the Fulda Gap, not naval interdiction. t That's best done by helicopters with hellfire missiles, like the Venezuelan drug boats full of fentanyl.

IDF BOMBS QUDS FORCE COMMAND CENTERS IN BEIRUT
The military also announced that on Friday, the Israeli Air Force bombed command centers in Beirut belonging to the Quds Force, the extraterritorial arm of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The IDF said the command centers belonged to the Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps, which "serves as a liaison between Hezbollah and the Iranian terror regime and supports Hezbollah’s force buildup and military entrenchment."

Later on Saturday, the IDF warned it would bomb the Masnaa Border Crossing between Syria and Lebanon, accusing Hezbollah of using it for military purposes.
"Due to Hezbollah’s use of the Masnaa Crossing for military activity and the smuggling of weapons, the IDF intends to strike the border crossing in the near future," warned army front man Col. Avichay Adraee.
Adraee called on anyone near the crossing to evacuate the area. "Remaining in this area puts you at risk," he said.
Earlier, the IDF renewed its strikes on the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, after issuing fresh evacuation warnings for several buildings. The army had already issued a blanket warning calling on everyone in the coastal city to evacuate. The military struck three specific buildings it had warned people to leave, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA).
An AFP correspondent said a missile hit an 11-story building northeast of Tyre, completely destroying it and reducing it to a pile of rubble that covered a nearby gas station. A second raid on a five-story building near the city leveled half of it, leaving the other half standing. The third strike was on the Burj al-Shamali Paleostinian refugee camp, southeast of the city.
Tens of thousands of people have left Tyre, but around 20,000 remain, including 15,000 displaced from surrounding villages.

IDF SAYS OVER 140 HEZBOLLAH SITES HIT THIS WEEKEND
According to the military, more than 140 total Hezbollah sites in Lebanon were struck by the Israeli Air Force and by ground troops over the weekend. The IDF said the targets included a Hezbollah training camp, weapon depots, rocket launching sites and command centers of the elite Radwan Force.
Additionally, amid ground operations in southern Lebanon, troops killed Hezbollah operatives in close-quarters combat and by directing strikes.
One strike carried out by the 215th Artillery Regiment hit a Hezbollah command center used by the terror group to launch drones at troops and Israel, the army said.
And in southern Lebanon, ground troops of the IDF’s Givati Brigade captured weapons, including the RPGs, anti-tank missiles, and firearms, the military said. The IDF said the brigade also spotted a cell of Hezbollah operatives and called in a dronezap against them.
On March 2, three days after the US and Israel attacked Iran, Hezbollah started firing rockets and drones at Israel, in support of the Islamic Theocratic Republic.
The attacks came after the previous round of fighting — which began when Hezbollah attacked Israel on October 8, 2023 — had mostly ended with a November 2024 ceasefire deal.

Five people were wounded as a result of the strikes but it is not immediately clear if there were any deaths, he added.
Footage posted to social media showed thick black smoke billowing up into the air at the scene.
Last week, The Times of Israel reported that Israel’s political leadership instructed the IDF to shift to striking “economic targets” in Iran, aimed at causing massive financial damage to the regime.
Iranian media also reported that strikes hit a cement factory in southern Iran.
No casualties were caused by the “American-Zionist attack on the Bandar Khamir cement factory,” the Tasnim news agency reported, citing a Hormozgan Province security official.
The report also said that “no disruption has occurred in the production chain” at the factory.
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said in a social media post Saturday that an airstrike near its Bushehr nuclear facility killed a security guard and damaged a support building.
It is the fourth time the facility has been targeted during the war.
The Bushehr nuclear power plant uses low-enriched uranium from Russia, along with Russian technicians, to supply about 1,000 megawatts of power for Iran. Its pressurized-water reactor can power hundreds of thousands of homes and other businesses and industries. But it contributes only 1% to 2% of Iran’s total power needs.
Iran has been trying to expand the facility to multiple reactors. In 2019, it began a project that ultimately plans to add two additional reactors to the site, each adding another 1,000 megawatts apiece.
The International Atomic Energy Agency said it has been informed by Iran about the strike and that “no increase in radiation levels was reported.”
Earlier Saturday, the Israeli military said that it hit air defense sites and missile storage facilities during a wave of airstrikes in Tehran on Friday.

This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation. This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND! The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies.
